Braided Wig Install | Fecihor Hair

Let me know how i did because i'm curious okay, so starting off, i'm gon na go in with my alcohol and remove the excess makeup that i have on my face. That is on my forehead as well, because when you start with a clean base, it makes all the difference. Then i'm going to go in with my scissors and cut off the excess or cut off the lace in the back, because we really don't need that and it will show with these braids and you don't want that. So i'm just going to cut it off. As i'm doing, right here and after i've cut that off, i'm going to go in again and cut off the comb, that's in the back of the wig because, as you know, it's just irritating and it low key on the lots of keys. Left me like a little bald spot, i started to notice um, so yeah, i'm just going to remove that because you don't really need it. There'S already a band on the wig. That'S going to give you security when you're wearing it. So now i'm going to put the wig on just to see how it's fitting, because you always want to make sure your wig is straight and that it is fitting. You know the perimeter of your head in the right places. You know what i mean going in with the bed head spray, the best spray so far, um and i've tried a lot of sprays. Okay, i'm just going to spray my cap because i want it to stay because you know what, when i don't spray the cap, it tends to um slide back underneath the wig, so i'm gon na spray that just to make sure it stays in place because i Don'T need it to be moving and i kind of rip my edges off from the edges off from the last install. So if you see some patches not too much okay, not too much, and i really need to get a new blow dryer. I just be lazy. You know what i mean if it's not broke, don't replace it so now putting on my wig again just to see how it fits and then i'm gon na push it push the lace back so that i can spray my forehead now with the spray. So that's what i'm doing spraying that on my forehead, i usually put about two to three layers: um, it's not going to last you a week, so it really doesn't matter. I would say about two at least, but i put three, i believe just smearing - that into my forehead and waiting for it to dry. So i can put it on. As you see right here, i'm gon na push the baby hairs back because it was in the way they were. They were in the way. So after i push the baby hairs out the way i'm just going to put the wig down and the places that it needs to be placed just making sure it is right, it's straight and it's where it needs to be, and after i do that, i'm gon Na go ahead and actually take the ear tabs off on the side, and that's what you see me doing here. This was super easy, like i didn't, need to put it inside out or anything like that, and i was a little weary about cutting some of the boxes, but it turned out perfect. I cut some beforehand where i thought i wanted it to start and it turned out great and i was a little nervous to be honest about this line on the hairline because, like it looks very unnatural, but there's nothing really. I could do about that because, as you can see, they're in plaques and if i try to pluck the the plaques, multiple hair will come out and i just did not want to chance that. Because i would just ruin the wig and that's not what i'm trying to do so i did the best with what i had after i do that i'm going to tie the hair down. I'M sorry tie the lace down just to make sure it is in place. It is adhering and that it's stuck there. I really need to wash that band too. There'S a lot of things. I need to do so after i'm done tying this up. I'M gon na go ahead and blow dry it as well just to give it a little extra and make sure it's stuck on my skin. You know there's no lifting or anything after i take this off. I'M gon na go ahead and remove the lace and cut it. I know it's gon na look a little crazy after i cut it, but bear with me trust the process it's going to come together. It'S going to come together, i'm trying to get as close as possible to that baby hair as i can, because i don't need no access lace. That'S just access. Lace is just lace that you have to cover up and i don't have the skills. Well, i wouldn't say i don't have the skills, but it's like it's hard covering up lace that don't really need to be there. You know what i mean so after that i'm going to spray the hair that i see, i'm sorry, the lace that i see. That'S lifting up just to make sure it is down and it's melted and that i have a seamless look to it. So after i make sure all the lace is down, i'm gon na go ahead and tie it back up and blow dry it once more and that's what you're gon na see me doing in the next few clips, but like earlier well, not earlier but like when The box braids and the braided wigs first came out. I could not wrap my head around the concept of people getting braids, i'm just like if, like just get your regular hair braided like it did not make any sense to me, but now dealing with my own condition. Um i've self-diagnosed myself with like psoriasis to the scalp, because that's what it looks like when i google search it and everything but anyways it's like now that me having this scalp condition. I don't feel comfortable getting my hair done. I don't feel comfortable with even doing box braids on myself or any type of thing where i have to show my scalp. So i feel like this is a perfect alternative to people who are maybe insecure about showing their scalp or just in insecure about their hair. In general, this is a perfect alternative, and now i fully understand why people would get it. I mean i did understand for people with like alopecia or cancer, or you know, conditions where they don't have hair or you just don't have hair by choice because you shaved it off or whatever, but like other than that, i really could not grasp the concept, but Anyways here you can see that after i took off the band, i'm just gon na brush out that baby hair that was stuck to the wig when i sprayed it down and recently i have just not been good at baby hairs. You guys can tell i rarely rarely do baby hairs when i install my wigs, but this one you kind of have to so. I had no choice, so i'm just gon na work with what i got and see how it turns out. I think it turned out really really cute. I cut the baby hairs because they were just too long, but i think i did pretty good as i wear this wig more i'll play with the baby hair. More and i'll get better at it. But just know that i don't do it so yeah and if any of you have any tips whatsoever that could help me um, i'm doing baby hairs. That would be really nice for you to put down in the comments. I really would appreciate that, because i'll be struggling, i'm not even gon na lie. Like you see this, i was like, but then i went back and i tried to fix it because i wasn't really feeling this side like the left side when you're looking at the camera, the left side is cool, but the right side is just it's not doing It for me, but that's okay, we're gon na fix it and, like i said, i'm gon na wear this wig. So the more i wear it the more i'll play with the hair, and this is pretty much the final look. I really really really really really love this freaking wig, like i love it and not too much on my head. I know i got an egg shaped head, so you ain't got to tell me about it all right.
