Short Hairstyle - Racer Stripe Side Braids!

Hey it's Shaunell, Hey! It'S Cetera. We've been having a lot of requests for cute new short hairstyles., So today we're going to show you how to do racer stripe, braids., Alright, the first thing you're gon na want to do. As you can see. She has a side part, so we're just gon na put two braids right through here., So I'm just gon na part this off to her ear with my fingers just so I kind of have a little bit of a separation, and I'm just gon na clip this Off so that's out of the way, and then I'm just gon na split this in half, so I have two sections., Then I'll clip this top part off.. So what we've decided to do is we're going to do a French braid up here and a Dutch braid here.. So we'll start with a Dutch braid., Since this braid is just going to be super teeny, we'll just start with just a little bit of hair and just do a Dutch braid back to the end of this section.. Okay. So I got all the hair pulled in to the braid, so I'm just going to braid down a few stitches like that and then I'm going to come in and just pull this a little bit wide. Just get make this braid look a little bigger.. I tighten it up at the end and then I'm going to take just a little elastic. This is the same color as her hair, so it'll hide better.. You want to make sure you get that elastic close to her head. K, we'll move on to the next section and do the French braid. I'm going to grab hair up here, close to her face and just start the small section. So it's as close as possible to her face start. My French braid I'm going to braid down just a few and then you can come in and pull this out way too and just do the same thing with the elastic get it right close to her head.. Be sure you get all that extra hair out of the way. I'll unclip this hair., You see we've curled her hair. Then you just want to bring your other hair around and just kind of match those curls up so blends in or if your hair straight you just kind of want to let it fall over.
