Detailed Very Easy Feed In Braid Tutorial Technique

Hey Everyone, this is a step by step tutorial on feed in braids on natural hair. My client wants to take a break on heat for the summer. So we decided on feed in braids. I will show you my simple be effective braiding technique. Thanks for watching!! Please Subscribe and SHARE!!

Let'S get right into it: Ida, tangled her hair, her hair was blow-dried. You want to make sure all the detanglers are out. Her hair arm is going to be to jumbo not really jumbo feeding brains but a good size, speedin braids. This is the most important part, get your cream in nature: argan oil, perfect, whole perfect, edges extra hold and I'm gon na do that around the circumference of her hair. I'M doing two braids, as I stated so each side, I'm just gon na go ahead and move her edges down with this edge control. I love doing this because it creates a smooth base for me when I braid and it also keeps the hair in place and she has big hair. So it kind of melts the hair down. So, like kind of thin it out smooth it out and it makes it easier to grip. So now I'm going to take my brush or a cone, whatever you use, whatever you're comfortable with I'm comfortable with my brush to smooth it out, make it look good and meet, and also I forgot to add that if you wanted to straighten the hair out also After the blow dries to make her hair a little bit more manageable to grip, you can do that, but I didn't want to do that today, but go ahead and do that if you need, if you're, not a dick, if your grip game is not that good, You can go ahead and straighten it out, but I'm going to use the rest of free, braiding, hair and I've divided the hair. I use one pack on each braid and I use eight different parts from the pack. So I made the first three kind of small and the rest of the five bigger. Now I'm going to take the first section of her hair and I'm going to braid her hair, I'm not going to add the cankle on hair until I braid her hair about three or four times so I rated it down and I added the first two. But I wasn't clear that you guys can see it, so I just cut it out now I'm adding the hair. I looped it around and I put it on my braiding finger that you use to grip the hair and I make sure I add the hair on the left side, because that is easier for me. That is what clicks for me. You have to practice this and what I notice is when I'm braiding down. I have to have my left side free, so I can grab the hair with my left hand because my right hand is dominant and it's gripping the hair for me. So I get the other hair s, folded in half and then I'll leave it into the finger that is gripping holding it in place. For me, you see that and then I just go on braiding and the key is you want to make sure the hair is separated and neat as you breathe, you get it. Okay, here's another top breakdown, two or three times. However, you feel comfortable or, however you, like the braids, to look. That'S how you determine how many times you braid down before you dig the hair in I'm getting the hair, I'm looping it in just like that, and then I grip the hair. Now, when I'm gripping the hair on the sides, if you like those stitch braids, you can actually before you loop, the hair in you can use a comb to grip it or you can use your fingernail to make the part to get that exact. Stitch. Braid look but I'm not doing that here so boom. Let me show you get the braid, the hair make sure it's half loop it in and then you just start braiding all the way down until you finish the hair. Now I only did I'm not the person that that's hair every two braids everywhere you braid down twice, then you add the hair braid down twice. No, I don't do that because I, like my braids, I don't like those big jumbo braids because they look silly to me for some reason. I just like it at this size. This is good for me. This is good for my client and see here. I'M trying to make sure her hair is tucked when you get down to the bottom, make sure the hair is tucked under to get a more. You know nice neat braids, you don't want her hair, the clients, hair sticking out and then you do that all the way down. Alright guys. I hope this helped. You can go ahead and rewind it remember. Whatever dominate, you came that you have use it to hold the hair, get your other hand loose in the hair. You put it in half you loop in the hair, with your finger that you're using to grip, and then you just loop it in and continue to braid. It'S I'm a I'm gon na say. Is that simple, but reality is that you just have to keep trying just like I had to learn to try and I'm gon na do the other side and guys I thank you for watching it. Also her hair we're doing this now so that we don't add heat to her hair. Like I said, I could have straighten her hair out so her waves, her curls, wouldn't have reverted when I put the edge control and the mousse in her hair, but it's okay. She loves it, we love it. We love our natural hair, so I thank you guys for watching. I hope you, I taught you something and if you haven't subscribed, please subscribe and please press that notification bell. Smile Jesus Loves you: Perfect!!!! Thank you so much I have really been struggling and your video clicked for me!

Mistica Davis: Thank you about the edge control info. I knew someone who uses both the regular control clear gel and that awful Gorilla glue gell for edges which is awful so thank you for showing this edge control gel option. I struggle to keep my 9 year old daughter's edges straight, neat and even in the beginning of the row. I was wondering how to control the edges. Her hair is thick, light colored, long and naturally curly also so I was wondering how to get the edges neat. And the base always ends up extremely loose which has been a struggle especially with the texture and how easy it tangles. She also wiggles because of her autism and adhd so braiding is a struggle but she loves the braids. How do you tie it off without elastics. Any advice would be appreciated. And what are the best braiding hair products. Thank you so much. Is looping the hair under the best option? I always was shown looping over not under. I love how better it looks with the under loop.

Cinde Warmy: You explained that technique thoroughly. Thank you so much.

Leah R.: Very helpful, especially the dominant hand tip. Thanks!

Lashawna Brady: @supanatural. Tip: when you put the edge control on use the back of a rat tail comb to press down the edge control into the hair. I know you used the brush.... but the back of the comb technique gets "in there".... That will minimize that wavy look on the edges and it will look neater and finished. D o that also on the nape and the parted areas real good before any braiding is started. Good job!! Cream of nature edge control is good but beeswax is supa- best.

Shawn E: This is by far the best Feed in braid tutorial!!! Bc I actually saw what you did. But my question is (and the I agree with you about not wanting it to look too bulky so how would you keep it from not looking bulky? Making the pieces smaller???
