Three 5 Minute Pigtail Hairstyles

Hi today's tutorial is going to be three easy: pigtail hairstyles, our first hairstyle is butterfly pigtails. It'S a split hair hairstyle that looks like a butterfly when you're done, I'm going to start by spraying, the hair down and then sectioning an area up front I'll part. It down the middle and then section off a little area on both the right and the left hand side. I'M weeding leaving a little bit of hair down on either side. Just because toddler, hair is usually fine on the side, but you can section the whole area. If you want to I'll secure the right side with an elastic and then I'm going to do the same thing on the left side, part it out and then once I've got this parted out, I will secure it with an elastic as well. Once I have my two front sections parted out: I'm going to spray the hair down with a little bit more water, and then I will split the hair down the middle again. So essentially, I'm going to have two front pigtails and two pigtails on the bottom. So this actually takes the longest out of the hairstyle is just parting it into the two separate sets of pigtails, so I'll have two on the top and then again two on the bottom. Now that I have the hair in two sets of pigtails, I am going to take the front two pigtails and split them both in half. So I will have two middle strands which I am going to connect with an elastic this middle area. I'M then going to split again I'll, add the two right strands to the right, sided, ponytail and then I'll take the two left hand strands and add them to the left side pony. Our second style is front, grated pigtails, to begin this style, you're going to have the same ponytails that you did in the last one, and what we're going to do is just do a simple three strand braid on these front ponytails, once I am done with the Three strand braid, I'm simply going to connect it to the pigtail, that's directly below it, we'll do the same. On the other side, just do a three strand braid, all the way down once you have it close enough to the pigtail you're simply going to attach it. Their third and final style is cross bubble. Pigtails. This style also begins like the others, with the front and back ponytails, we're simply going to come down about an inch and a half and place an elastic, and then I'm going to pull the hair out a little bit, thus kind of creating a bubble. We'Re going to do this again, creating a bubble with after we put our elastic in and then again a down down about an inch and a half bubble, the hair out and then you're just gon na do this until you have enough to cross the one side Over to the other, so I'm just bubbling these out as I go and then once I've got enough, I'm going to cross it over to the opposite side and attach from here we're going to do the same thing. On the left side, I'm going to secure an elastic about an inch and a half down and then bubble the area out above the elastic and then continue to do this until it is long enough to connect to the other side. So you get a fun pop of color and some cute bubbles in two pigtails, so that is our finished style for this one.
