Vivian Vo Farmer - Side Dutch Braid Hairstyle | Pantene

Hey guys it's Vivian V and I'm back on set with Pantene to show you how to get this nice, Dutch side braid. So basically, it's an awesome braid for the summer time. If you want to go to a barbecue or party, so I learned how to get it go ahead and keep watching alright. So my hair is almost completely air dried. But earlier I use Pantene daily moisture and real shampoo conditioner and the great thing about the petitioner is: if you want long hair like mine, the conditioner has a new formulation, that's perfect for that purpose. So let's go ahead and get started so to prep my hair. I'M using the smooth, frizz fixing serum, which is perfect for ends that may be a little bit frizzy. You want to keep polished and smooth looking. Basically, I'm just gon na pump one or two pumps into my palm and then kind of work it between my hands and it's perfect for this purpose, cut super lightweight and keeps any flyaways away in your braids. For this look, you want all your hair on one side of your head, so what I'm going to do is just take all this hair and just make a part about right here and bring it all to this side like so and then using a top section Of my hair, I'm putting it into three parts like you, would a normal braid and you want to make sure you cross the pieces underneath rather than over. So the braid sits on top of your head kind of, like you would be doing a French braid except making sure the pieces go underneath each other and as you're doing this, you want to make sure they pull the pieces tight. So you don't have any gapping. So once you've reached the base of your neck, you're gon na go ahead and just finish off this look with a traditional braid until the ends of your hair and once you've reached the end of your hair, you just want to use a hair tie and secure The look once you've braided to the end. You can go ahead and use your fingers and pull apart the braid to make it wider and go ahead and repeat the same process throughout the braid and don't worry if there are any imperfections or lumps, because this will become more smooth as you pull the braid Apart but once you've done all the braiding and pulling apart, I went ahead and used the Pantene's volume high lifting hairspray to make sure my braids stay really full and bouncy, even when I'm outside in the Sun. This product is great. If you have really fine hair that tends to fall flat too alright, so that's basically it for the hair. Look.
