Fake Braid Twist (Tutorial)

Here's a really quick and easy trick to get your bangs out of your face/look like you braided your hair without spending more than 2 minutes on it. :]

I don't have a clever name for this hairstyle, but we'll call it the fake braid twist. This is a really great hairstyle for any time you're in a rush or don't feel like doing a whole lot to your hair or just be like taking a short cut on your hair day. I hope you enjoy it. Let'S get started all you need for this. Hairstyle is two bobby pins, so the goal with this hairstyle is to make it look like a braid with half the effort. So what you're going to do is go from your part. I just take my pinky and slide it through and you just want a little sliver of hair. That'S how you start and then you're gon na, go right next to it and do the same thing and then take the bottom piece and twist it over the front of the top piece. I switch hands for this one because I'm gon na start going from the front now, but you just keep doing the same thing. You just take little slivers and you add to the one that's on the bottom twist. So now just keep adding in little bits and adding it to the bottom. You can go back slightly a little further each time. This way it flows around your head, rather than just being right across the front, and once I get to about here, I like to stop and then to hide my bobby pins. I pull back all the rest of the hair flatten it out a bit and then this crisscross, your bobby pins, and there you have it depending on how you like your hair to be you, can either pull it tighter and make your section smaller. This way you see more of the loops or you can leave it big and poofy like mine. This has been a really helpful hairstyle for me, while my bangs are growing out. I'Ve gotten tired of just doing normal twists, so I started doing this, and sometimes it takes me less than a minute to just flip it all together and then I'm good and it looks really neat and at first glance it looks like you braided it, and you Took some time on it, even though you did it it's a great little shortcut.
