Easy Milk Maid Braids With Scarf! | Twist Me Pretty

Hey loves!!! Happy Wednesday! I've got THE CUTEST hairstyle for you today -- what do you think about these milk maid braids?! I've always loved milk maid braids because they're so dang easy and work well with a lot of different hair lengths and textures. I saw this idea from A Beautiful Mess (https://abeautifulmess.com/2013/04/fab...), incorporating the scarf into the braid and not only is it super cute and adds awesome texture and color, but it's actually pretty functional. The scarf holds the braids in place and also conceals short ends on top. So if you're looking for really cute hairstyle to wear to the beach, give this one a try. I'm obsessed.

Over on my blog I'm sharing a few of my favorite head scarves right now so click on over if you're needing a few suggestions! http://www.twistmepretty.com/2018/06/m...

What'S up you beautiful babes Abby, here from twisty pretty and welcome back to my channel today, I've got as cute as dares dial and Vario plus it's super fast and easy. It includes this cute little scarf, which these are so trendy right now you can buy them pretty much anywhere I'll, make sure to link up a few of my favorites below this one is sold out, so you can wear these as like little Necker chips. I think is what they're called or a head scarf. So there's a lot of ways to wear these, but I got this idea from a beautiful mess and I've kind of changed it a little bit so that it works with my hair and I hope it works for yours too. I hope you loved the video. So don't forget to subscribe it down below and let's get started. Okay, you're gon na take your scarf and bobby, pin the center of it right down the middle of the nape of your neck. This is just gon na keep the scarf in place, while we braid, so don't worry about being too precise here now you should have one section of hair on each shoulder and we're just gon na split the one side in half and your scarf is gon na. Be your third section and you're just gon na do a simple three strand: braid all the way down when you get to the end of the braid or bring both sections behind as a scarf and then tie it off with a clear elastic, then you can go In and stretch the raid out just a little bit and now we're just going to repeat on the other side now that you have your two braided pigtails we're just gon na wrap it up. So the trick here is to hold the hair down with your finger. So that when you bring the braid up, it doesn't bubble so pull out some fringe if you'd like and then we're just gon na, pin the braid in place. You can see right here that I just pulled out two mini bangs, so I'll show you how to fix that in a second but we're gon na pin the braid in place first. So the flat side of the pin is gon na be on top and then you're gon na snag a small piece of the braid and push the pin into the hairstyle. So if you have too much hair here or it's just not laying on you one or it's too thick, go ahead and use another bobby pin to push the hair down so you're gon na hide the pin underneath the braid super easy. And then I like to turn around and kind of see what's going on in the back, so typically I'll. Just pin that section right there just because it's a little too big or too thick so where you pin will just depend on your hair texture and what it's looking like and then we're gon na repeat on the other side. So just fold the braid up and over holding down the hair, that's right above the ear and bobby pin in place now we're gon na pin the ends of the braid in place. So you might actually have enough length to wrap your ends further up and hide them underneath the braid or yours might not reach all the way kind of like mine. Both ways work, just fine we're just gon na pin them wherever they reach so they're secure and then finally, not the scarf in a double knot and then you're, just gon na remove the bobby pin from the back and you're done. What do you guys think and that's it thanks so much for watching if you guys like this video, please give it a thumbs up. I just I think this is literally the cutest hairstyle ever just so. Fun and flirty for summer gets the hair off of the neck and adds a little pop of color. So I hope you guys loved it. Don'T forget to subscribe down below, and hopefully we see you guys in the next one bye guys you
