Hey guys, it's Alicia and I'm going to do a really quick video to show you how I wear my hair when I work out with these fit uglies twists. I don't know why I wear it makes me think so much like senegalese senegalese, twists, um, really simple. This is not anything that I discovered or anything like that, really it's about me and and how I had to find a way that works. For me, this is obviously a lot of hair, it can be kind of heavy and I do different sorts of workouts. So the first day that I had worked out in my twist, you know it was all a test for me. I really didn't know what was going to work. I tried to go for my normal hair style when I'm just wearing my natural hair, and I went for a high bun and um that day I just did like Stairmaster and weights the second day um. I took like a strenght training class and then I did Samba and that's when it just did not work out. My hair literally just fell off the top of my head because there was a lot of moving a lot of bouncing around and the hair is so heavy. So the first day the Python worked for me because I wasn't just really jumping around, but with my other classes - and you know, mountain climbers and crazy stuff like that, it did not hold up so um. The next day I decided to try a ponytail and that's what I've been wearing for every workout I workout five to six times or days during the week, sometimes two times out of that week. A lot of you know I'm on this journey. Just fitness journey. I'Ve always worked out, but I'm trying to get more definition and I've talked about it for a while, but now I'm really committing, because I did my first official video, so you guys are gon na have to hold me accountable, haha. You know when you're serious you tell people when you're, not it's like your own little secret and so yeah um. So I'm going to do this really really quick, I'm going to start off with this headband. It actually matches the shorts that I have on the little part here. It matches these shorts and um. You know for those of you who want to be semi cute. Like me, I don't know it just motivates me. It makes me feel good when I look in that mirror when I'm lifting those weights it just pushes me even more - that's just my personal preference, so I'm going to wear this little cute, headband, just to add a little kiss to my load outfit and I have A goody headband here that I'm going to use for my ponytail holder, because nothing else will hold and I'm not trying to be fancy. I'M just getting off this hair and just ponytail as you can see, and then I literally BAM - and you can do all of this, and do all of that you can do - is a little. It holds up through the entire workout sweat it all. So I hope this video helped you guys if you have loads of hair on your hand like me, with these twists, um yeah enjoy your workout enjoy your day. Denina Williams: What is your routine like with your senegalese twists? I have them for the first time and am struggling with a routine. I looked at some people who said they sprayed their twists down with a water, oil, moisturizer solution. That made my hair look CRAZY. My hair reverted big time and the ends were sticking out everywhere so I had to retwist. The same thing happens on a smaller scale whenever I use a leave in. It's really important to me to keep my own hair moisturized and healthy, but I also prefer not to look all shabby lol

Cherry Lynn: That's not the issue I think I will have. It's keeping my scalp clean and free from itching. When I sweat a lot my scalp itches badly. I tend to need two washes throughout the week to keep it clean. Can you wash twists/ braids? Or not?

Do you have any recommendations on what I should be doing or focusing on for a proportionate we loss (full body)? Also I wanted to know is Zumba a good source for my needs and I also have a treadmill and ab scissor machine? Help!!!

Lexishere: I notice that when i workout or sweat a lot while wearing braids, my hair starts to frizz up and thicken back to its natural state at the roots and i like my braids to last about a month but i also like to workout.. also whenever i try to wash them with braids in, they get frizzy too

I've had mine for about a month now but I have no idea how to get my scalp clean or get it moisturized without drenching the hair.
