Hey guys, so today's tutorial is two twisted braids into a messy bun. So let's get started so for this hairstyle. My hair is parted to the side, but you could do down the middle, so i'm just gon na take a small section at the top divide it into two equal strands. Then i'm gon na take the front strand cross it over the back strand. Now i'm going to add in a small section of hair into that back section. So just pick up a strand right next to it add it in and same with the front section. Just take a small section. Add it in cross the front strand over the back strand, so this is literally what you do the whole time so again add in a section of hair to the back section, a section of hair into the front section cross the front section over the back. Section. Repeat: add in a section of hair to the back section, add in a section of hair to the front section cross the front over the back. So last time add in a section of hair to the back section, a section of hair into the front section cross. The front over the back and then just do this all the way back so a little tip with this hairstyle as you're doing your twisted braid don't go down because if you go down you're going to end up having to do a low messy bun, if you Want to keep it high, you need to just kind of go around your head. Staying up at the top. That way, we can add it into a high messy bun. So once you reach about your ear, then you're just going to stop adding in hair and you're. Just going to twist the hair around itself just enough so that you can take a clip and just clip it back, so you can see here i'm taking a clip and just clipping it back like that, and then i'm gon na repeat those same steps on the Opposite side of my head, so i'm gon na do this and speed it up, so you don't have to suffer and watch it again. So again, once you reach your ear, stop adding in hair and just do a twist all the way down. Instead of clipping this one away, we're just going to hold on to it, take the clip out, from the other twist, incorporate them together and then take a clear elastic and just tie the two together so once they're tied together. Take that clear, elastic and tighten it. So it pushes it up against your head, then you're gon na add in the rest of your hair and do a messy bun. So, to do my messy bun, i take my ponytail through a couple times and then on the last time. I just do a little loop like this, then with the hair. That'S hanging out. You just want to take that twist it and then wrap it around the base of that little bun, and do it as much as you can you don't want any hair hanging out and then you can tuck it into your hair tie or just take a bobby Pin then i'm going to kind of fan out the top part of the bun and then pin down the sides that way it's not all floppy and stuff, and then you just want to keep stretching it, painting it as needed just kind of playing around with it. Until you like the way it looks, this can be the longest part, just making sure your messy bun looks good, but now you just want to take the twisted part and pancake it. If you pull out the twisted part too much, you can just take a bobby pin like i'm about to do here and insert it into the twist and just kind of push it back towards your bun. That way, you can't see it and then i'm just gon na pancake the other twist to pull out some hair in the front, pull out some hair around the sides of my head. So it's not so tight, but this is what it ends up. Looking like, i think it is so cute. This hairstyle is perfect for those who can't braid, i think twists are such a good alternative and they add a really unique touch to a messy bun, give it a little extra spice. That is the video. Thank you guys for watching. Don'T forget to like subscribe, leave a comment, and we will see you guys in my next one

Sarah Parker: Love watching your videos! You do such a great job!

nunya biz: Omg im so envious of yall for being able to braid so flawlessly. I end up trying over and over, getting muscle cramps from holding my arms up, throwing something across the room and F bombs, then being an hour late to wherever I was going, and just wearing a baseball cap true story .

uR mOm: I love coming to all your videos to see you and Knox ☺️ Your hairstyles are so creative and amazing ❤️

Tina Penner: This is so awesome I've watched all of ur vids and all of them are super helpful!! :)

Arras10: Reeeally like the braid into the bun

Radley Rayne: Love this! Any tips on struggling with very thick heavy hair when doing the fan part of the bun? I try & try to do the fan bit but my hair is so thick & heavy that it just splits in the middle & falls

Melissa Vest: You have such fun hair ideas and you are so sweet and down to earth. So glad I found your channel. Now to just actually try out some of these styles.

Tammy: Super cute!

Luella Ruhter: The way u do that braid I love it, I can do it on others but it’s so hard to do it when I’m doing my own hair, I don’t know why but it drives me crazy because I want that for my hair. It’s so frustrating. I guess practice makes perfect huh☹️

Katelyn Outhous: Your videos are my favorite!! Can you make a video compilation of all your all time favorite styles that you've done?

kathy Malia: Hi Lainey love all your videos. Hope you and your family are well. Can you suggest something to use for someone that can’t get bobby-pins to stay in?
