$1K Extra Long And Small Knotless Braids- The Most Money I Ever Made

Hello, beautiful vegans, we are back with another video today. I am here with my good friend misha. She drove all the way from mississippi for your girl, so we are doing some small knowledge braids on here today and i'm just gon na let y'all watch now um. We are in her hotel room. It was more convenient for me to just come to her here than her coming to me and my suite so yeah we just gon na do it here and we're gon na get started and i'm just gon na let y'all watch. I think i'm gon na do like a voice over to this so um, instead of just kind of stopping and talking to the video so yeah, i hope you all enjoy and if you have not yet be sure to like this video and subscribe to my channel. All right, y'all, all right so as y'all can see, i did go ahead and pre-part her hair. I did about three braids in the back around the nape of her neck and then i did about six braids across the top on either side of her head and then here i just go ahead and separate the hair on my braiding rack, quick story. I went to the hair store to go, buy another wreck right. While i leave my rack out of my bag, i didn't even get the rag, so i had to just refill the rack like two or three times in order to just finish this style, which was very inconvenient, but i did make it happen. So i definitely went back up there and got my wreck, though after i finished the style, all right, quick tip for the bride is out there. You see how i got her to stand up so that i can measure where the braid was going to actually hit her and make sure that it was the correct length. I would highly suggest that you do this for your clients, especially when you are doing the longer braids. Just get them to stand up real, quick just to make sure that that first braid is the length that you are, that they want it to be. And that way that will be your guide for the rest of your braids okay, so i did use outre expressions hair. This is a blend of colors between the 27 6, 13 and 30.. It was so pretty. I actually used to mix this by hand for a few clients before i knew that they are they made it. I already blended, so yeah. This definitely saved me a lot of time because i did not have to blend it myself, thank goodness, but yeah. I love this color, it's so pretty. I really want to try it on myself, but i don't know how this blonde would look on me yeah. We also started like really early with this appointment. I think i got there at like 5 a.m. The appointment that the appointment time that we scheduled was actually 4 a.m, but i didn't make it there until 5., so yeah. When we got started after pre-partying and setting up my rack and stuff, it was probably like 6 30, so yeah. We did this literally all day. It took me about 12 hours to complete this entire style um right now. I feel like it's, maybe about noon or maybe like one or two p.m. So yeah we've made some progress. I mean i have about four rows left, as you can see, on the top and as y'all can see, we are really having some great conversation like she's, also a business owner. So it's very easy to kind of just talk to her we're bouncing ideas off of one another and just really just having a good time just vibing. Yes, y'all. We finally made it to the end. I am about to dip these braids, since these braids are very very long. I do not dip them the typical way, which is, i would take my hot pot and just you know, stick the braids inside of the water, i'm actually going to show y'all what i do different when the braids are longer. Look. She already feeling herself yeah. She know these racists, oh they hit different like yeah. I did that i did it, but yeah i'm gon na show y'all in a second what i do differently, because these braids are so long how i dip them in the water. Oh look. He tried to take us out the game. Just then y'all her son. She had to bring her baby with her, but he was i mean he kept us well entertained during this appointment. I don't think we would have made it without him. We probably both would have went to sleep, but he definitely kept us up all right y'all. So i still, you know, use the hot water the regular way, but instead of dipping the braids inside of the water you're going to see here that i actually pour the water onto the braids and just let it run down the braid from the bottom. I'M pretty sure y'all may have seen other people do this before, but i noticed that it works very well when i do long, braids so and then i'll just kind of just dip the ends just a little bit um, not as much as i would have, but Um yeah, just definitely pouring the water directly onto the braids and just letting it flow down, helps to you know, keep the braids straight and yeah not to miss as much hair. I feel like um. If i was to dip the braids into the water, it would cause the ends to curl up and not be as straight, and you know we want our braids straight when we want them straight and we want them curly when we want them curly and right now. We want them straight, so we trying to keep it like that all right, y'all, so um as you can see this style was a bit extensive. Like i said it did take me all day to do this style. Look at her get her content. Yes, you better get that content girl, but yeah yeah, so um this set of braids was actually the most amount of money that i've actually made from any client that i've ever had with doing braids like i'm so proud of myself. I'Ve been braiding for almost over 10 years now. I'Ve been doing it more so like on a full-time professional level for about two years, and so yes, i definitely can see my progress and that i'm growing and the fact that somebody is willing to pay. You know pay so much money for a service that i offer. I feel so just grateful and super happy and yeah like it's. It'S growing like business is growing and the fact that she came all the way from my hometown just to make sure that you know she got serviced by me. That really does show that i'm doing something right. So i'm so proud of myself. You know just in business period like i've, moved to a new area, i've you know, uprooted my whole life from something that i've known all my life and brought it over here and you know, loyal clients have still stuck by my side and continue to. You know support me and follow me and pay no matter. You know what the cost is that i'm asking and i'm just super super grateful so shout out to all my clients. Y'All are the real goats, like i'm serious y'all are amazing, i'm so thankful like when i finished this appointment. I was super tired, yes, but i felt so accomplished like i don't know it just it really felt great to me. I felt this great feeling of just pure joy and happiness because i'm doing what i love and you know, i'm able to live like i'm able to live the life that i want so yeah, just uh um. Just anybody out there who's kind of like doubting themselves or thinking like nobody's ever gon na pay. You know what i feel like i deserve. Your time is: coming just keep working at your craft. Just keep you know, being you, because that's really! What sells you being yourself and people gravitate towards that more than the actual service or the product that you're offering like as long as you can give them a great experience, people will people will shop with you, people will, you know, continue to support, so yeah just Be yourself your time is coming, be patient and don't short, sell yourself. That'S what that's the biggest thing do not short sell yourself. Do not feel like you know, oh like because everybody else's prices are low. I got ta, keep my prices low. No! No! No! No! No, your type of client is going to pay for the service that you're offering if they don't want to pay the price that you're you're asking for that's, not your client period, so yeah, that's my word of advice to y'all. Just keep working at your craft. Keep grinding keep being yourself like that's the biggest thing, just keep being you girl and it's all gon na fall into place. Everything you asking for it's coming. It'S coming just keep working, keep going yeah i kind of got mad at myself here, because why did i not pick up another can of mousse like y'all, see that little bit of mousse that i had left in the cage, then i dropped it. Lord, i was tired, y'all, but yeah i barely had any moose left. I had um, i've been working out, i've been really working, but yeah um, oh and i went to the hair store i got another can of guys to be, but they didn't have the mousse that i you know that i like, which is the shining jam. So i made a plan to stop at the hair store closer to me and yeah. I didn't do it so i, like i said y'all. This appointment was early in the morning, so i didn't have time to stop so i just made do it. What i had, i made sure to put it at the roots, which is um the main area, that it needs to be the roots and the ends specifically because the mousse is used to kind of just hold down those flyaways and just set the style. And that's typically, where the flyways will be at the root and at the end so yeah it did. What needed to be done? Can y'all see how exhausted i am. We were literally at this all day, so i was just whoa. I was out of it at this point. Like i hadn't eaten anything. I only had a water bottle to drink, which i don't typically like to eat anything during my appointments anyways but yeah yeah. I was definitely tired, but look how it came out y'all. Oh, my goodness, i was so proud of myself for this style. I loved it the length, the color everything it was just amazing like i did it. This is her birthday hair, and so i know for a fact, she's definitely gon na slay. Look at that. Like, oh, we y'all butter butter. Is that what that mean? Is that what that tick, tock says but uh?
