How To: French Braid Tutorial On Natural Hair

Hey guys I'm back with a tutorial on how to french braid on natural hair. i did this style a few months ago before i had a channel and everyone asked for a tutorial so i finally uploaded on lol.

i hope you guys enjoy the tutorial.

Let me know if you wanna see more of these, i would love to film them.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel and today I'll be doing a little hair tutorial for you guys on this beautiful inverted braid, French braid, whatever you want to call it hairstyle, okay, guys you're starting off on detangled here, just make sure everything is combed out and It'S moved, you could run your fingers through it because, if not is going to be messy now we're going to separate the hair into three sections like regular breeding, three strands. So I'm going to separate into three sections and then we're going to start with the outer section we're going to flip it over the middle section, keep the middle in the middle and then we're going to flip it back and pull the middle out towards the outer Section and we're going to keep going you flipping and twisting the middle must never come on the outside. The middle must always stay in. I guess that's a trick to keep the grade inverted but yeah, and you just keep going you you now, as you get to decide going on to the point into the back of your head, just remember to keep a good grip on the braid and not lose It because some when I first started braiding like this, I used to always forget to keep a good grip, so the size would be really loose and it wouldn't stay so just remember to keep a good grip and also keep it in line with the front part. Because you don't want your braids to be like a s braid, you want it to be straight, going all the way back so just remember: to keep your hands straight and keep a good grip on the braid and keep doing the same thing as you go down. The back part - and there you have it your braid - is finished you're on the end, just keep the same grip all the way to the end and make sure that you braid it all the way down. So it doesn't come loose because you wouldn't want your hard work to go to waste, and then you can move on to the other side. Once you're satisfied with how the braid looks so we're going to start by doing the same thing on the other side, make sure that here is detangled. It'S smooth, you can run your fingers through it because if not, your braid is going to be messed up and you're going to be mad. So detangle and smooth out that here now you're going to separate your three sections again. Remember the middle section stays in the middle, so you have your three sections and you're going to start your braid, the middle section stays in the middle and you're going to continue flipping and twisting remember to keep a good grip on your braids. Are your arms hurting? Yet because mine was like at this point, my arms were killing me. Oh another thing remember: to stop: would it rather be halfway or if you just started just a feel to see if you like how the breed is feeling if it feels neat, it has no bumps and it's good. It'S straight. Just make sure you do that because you don't want to finish the whole brain and then you try to fill it and then it's like bumpy and you know not neat and then you're like. Oh, my god. I have to do this all over again. So make sure you stop in between and fielder here make sure it's coming out to your liking. You last couple of flips: don't get tired now, don't stop keep going until you get to the end. I know your arms are probably hurting at this point. Mine were trust me. I know the feeling just keep going and keep that grip on there and you're gon na. Have your French braid in no time and you're done sorry. My head was a little too close to the camera because I was just like. Oh, my god, I'm finished, I'm finished yes, yes, yes, but yes, the braid is finished and now you can, you know smooth them edges down, make it on fleek and all that good stuff you. So this is a finished parade and I'm going to flip around and show you guys the other side. Do you? Have it side mask apples, a little dry? But yes, this is a finish braid and, of course the front is looking kind of crazy. I put some edge control on it and you know tighten the edges up, but yeah. It is to finish braid. I hope you guys liked it. I hope it was easy for you guys to do it on yourself, because I know sometimes tutorials can be kind of in. Let me try it first and see how I like it but yeah, and this is the back I just tucked it in. I didn't finish. French really or anything I just tucked it together and now we're gon na smooth those edges down with the curls passionfruit curl control paste. I love this. It leaves no residue and it lasts me for a few hours. It doesn't last all day because I know I have natural here and naturally is kind of like uh, it's gon na get curly anyway, but it does last me for a few hours, and I liked the smell. I, like the texture on my hair, and it also gives me a little shine in the front, which is really nice too. So I use this to put on my edges. Okay, I couldn't find my hair toothbrush. I don't know what I did with it, so I just used my regular brush to smooth down my edges, which it works the same. It'S just big and clumsy, but it still works the same. So I basically just brush the front out. I know it looks kind of crazy now, because the frame is all you know, shiny and everything, and it just looks crazy right now, but promise you it all comes together once I'm finished okay, now I'm just taking my scarf and I'm going to wrap the front Of my hair to keep my edges down, basically smooth it out, so that doesn't look so crazy, like it's looking right now, so I'm going to do this for a couple of minutes, I'm going to go, get my face on and then I'll come back and show You guys the unveiling of my beautiful braids okay, so I'm finishing my face and I'm out to unveil my here - and this is the finished hairstyle after a few minutes of me, using the hair scarf to basically smooth my edges down. This is the right five, and this is the left side, and this is the back hope. You guys can see that. Okay, this is a finished, look guys and um yeah. I don't think I'd like it. I hope you. It was easy to understand uh. You know easy to do, I mean it doesn't happen overnight. Practice um practice makes perfect. So if it doesn't come out right, the first time keep trying does just exactly what I did. I mean I didn't, have anybody to teach me uh, so I've done once and I continuously kept trying it on my hair and then I became somewhat of a professional, see you later yeah, so I'm yeah. Thank you guys for watching. I hope you guys enjoyed this hair tutorial now. If you want to see this look of course, some some glam going on here. There'S the link to this video down below and if you liked it give me a thumbs up, subscribe to my channel to keep up with the goodness that's gon na be flowing on this channel. Yes, so um yeah!
