Doing Small Knotless Braids On Myself + Short Tutorial | A.Liyiaaa

Hey guys, it's me aaliyah if you're new, welcome, if you're, not new, welcome back, as you can tell by the title, um i'm going to show you how how to do knowledge version yourself, it's going to be a tutorials kind of it's kind of gon na, be A tutorial it's kind of not so i pre-parted my entire head and i went ahead and did the back of my head because it's kind of hard to do the back, so i needed to focus on the back part. So i started yesterday and like a little after one so and i did the back and now i'm going to start on the front. Let me show you how to back my battery back today, this the back y'all can see and they real long. They real long. Like i said, i pre-parted the front, so i have it's, i prepared it, so it could be easier for me to get through instead of trying to you know, figure out what i'm gon na do in the process of doing my hair, and then you know the Chance of messing up your parts or whatever i don't want to go through that so as for right now, i think i'm gon na do this side. Just this half of my head and then i'm gon na come back to y'all to show y'all up close of this. Like me doing this side, so y'all get a sense of how to do knowledge, braids yourself or if it'll help you out in general i'll, show y'all and explain it to y'all, walk out through the whole thing. So yeah, i'm just about to watch um. My show and continue brighton so enjoy the time lapse. Foreign! Oh now one ah wait change! This is hey now mom. So i did these three rows right here and i decided i was gon na start on this side. So i can finish some of these and i'll show y'all up close on this side, because my left side is my most difficult side to do, which i don't know why but yeah it's kind of hard for me to decide. So i'm just going to try to get some of these braids out the way because it don't take me long to do my right side, because y'all can tell well y'all really don't know. But it took me what like 25 30 minutes just to do this and on this side, it'll take twice as long so yeah, that's what i'm gon na do my i keep watering. Let me just tell y'all they're, dr bonner's um peppermint body wash stuff be careful with it, because i got it in my eyes. What maybe three days three four days ago in my eyes, still watering and it won't stop. Let me show you how the edge controls i'm using y'all um if y'all want to braid her y'all, look for some real good edge control, lock in jail, it's lockheed in jail, it's it's for lock, swiss braid without it and it's like extra hold and i'm using This the dope collection by dope ass kinda on instagram and youtube. You know this ain't, no promo, but you know, got ta give credit where it's good, because this is good stuff see like it's even hard for me to park this side. I don't know why. Okay! That'S right all right so back to the time lapse now y'all about to watch me struggle anytime. I do my hair on this side. I start over like two or three times, but hopefully i don't have to start over because i really don't have time to be far. No, my now uh all right. So now, i'm just finished. I'M gon na just finish some more on this side off camera and then i'm gon na come back to y'all. So i can show you how to tutorial yeah, i'm gon na come back when i'm back on this side, so i can show y'all tutorials. So y'all can learn how to do your own hair or, if y'all need any tips i'll give them to y'all. Okay, so a little update i had to stop. Yesterday i had to stop yesterday and get more hair. I'M done with this side. Um yeah, i'm done with this side. I just have a few braids left on this side. To do. I don't know what i'm gon na do these braids gon na be pink, but as far as this right here i don't know how i'm gon na do this. I might just do it black yeah, i don't i mean because it's like half black half pink, i don't know what i'm gon na do, but i need to figure it out because i'm not gon na just be sitting thinking about this. So one mum now my you number one - i just want to show you how to hot pink hair. I had it first, it was this. This is definitely too light. Compared to this on camera. I guess you can tell the difference yeah. It'S definitely like two. Three shades darker, so yeah their hair right. There was gon na. Do me no justice. I had to go out. I went to like eight different stores and i had to find i had to find this. Oh this hot, pink hair. So i was like no. I need to do my hair or i need to find the top be my mum, okay y'all. So this is the tutorial part of the video i just wanted to give y'all an up close of how i do my braids, how i started off and how i add in hair um, it's kind of hard for me to kind of show, y'all and explain it Like in depth like doing it on my own head, it'll be better if i show y'all on someone else's head. So if y'all want to see that, then let me know: okay and i'll: do it? Okay, so first you're just going to put your edge control on your hair. Whatever section you have parted out and comb, it come the edge control thoroughly and then you're, just gon na split that into three sections and you're gon na start. Well, i started the way i braid i start from, like my i add in and start on my right side. So that's me adding in hair through on the right side of my head, like that's my right hand right now going over. So when i add in i add in hair in between my index and my thumb so when i edit in you'll see like my index finger goes up and then it just it like. I said it's really hard for me to explain, but it just goes. You know it goes through it right or whatever, like. I really can't explain it's really hard, i'm trying my best so just bear with me and as i'm braiding down i'll just turn my braid around since i braid underhanded i'll just turn my braid around and then just finish braiding down easily, and this is me just Adding edge control to the ends and just comb it through because you don't want your hair sticking out your braids and it just won't look uniform and nice. So you just want to make sure when you braid do all you can to make sure that your braids look nice and pretty okay, here's the last braid in my head um! So i'm just doing the same thing like i did with the other braid that i showed y'all, i'm just putting edge control and i'm just combing throughout that section of hair. Now i'm just splitting it into three and i'm gon na start with my right side. So that's my right hand on the top and i'm gon na put that under the middle section and grab with my index and thumb and then as i'm, adding in the hair, i'm gon na. Add it in again between my index finger and my thumb and then, as i'm pulling the left side through, i'm pulling it as tight as i can, but not tight to where it hurts just so that my braids are very secure. Then i'm adding in my hair again through my index and my thumb, i'm just going to continue braiding as y'all can see like right there. Just when you add it in it, just it's i don't i i can't explain it, but it just does what it's supposed to do so yeah, i'm doing that again and as far as adding in here you just do it. I would say to your liking or what you think is work, what you think works for you. I just i don't know how many pieces of hair i add in with each braid or whatever i just do until like. I know what size they're supposed to be, or whatever thickness i like them or whatever so yeah just go buy what you think is best for you. So here i just turn my braid around again and i'm braiding it down and i'm pretty sure i'll show y'all again yeah. So there it is, i'm just adding it to the right side in the middle and then i'm writing over yeah. I think it's pretty easy but, like i said, if y'all want a more in-depth tutorial, just leave a comment, comment section and i'll be sure to do that for y'all. So now i'm just continuing to braid down and just making sure i calm the hair so that my natural hair blends in well - and that is tucked and hidden away. So it just won't be sticking out looking ugly, and that is how my braid looks. That'S the last braid looks nice yeah, so that's that's all to it. Okay, y'all! So i'm done now - and this is the final look, i'm gon na get up and show y'all how long they are, but they look good. They turned out really good. Let me show you how to back, i need to make sure y'all can see it, so this is the back. I don't know how good y'all can see that, but like they hurt to hold up home okay, this is the back cue right. I think so, and then i need to show you how long they are because they real long okay, so they real long. Let'S see if i can show y'all.
