She'S, a diamond she's, a diamond girl, she's, a diamond diamond hi YouTube, It's princess, diamond welcome or welcome back to my channel. So today I'll be doing the double dutch braids. Some people call them the twin box, braids I've seen them called Gemini braids, but basically what they are are box, braids done with rubber bands with two braids in one box. Now this is not something that's entirely new. We'Ve done them for many many years on. Kids. I'Ve done it myself on my girls um, you know we use it, we do it with the bubbles um. Well, I call them bubbles. I guess you guys call them knockers and barrettes and um. We do have them with either twist or braids, but just recently they've started to we started seeing them done on adults and actually we've started seeing them first with the, where we'll do like one ponytail and two braids or we'll do two ponytails and two braids in Each ponytail, but now we're seeing them as box braids on adults with again two braids in one box. So in this video, I'm just showing you guys how I did mine um, like I said, we'll be using rubber bands so starting out, I'm just sectioning out. All of my parts and putting them into rubber bands just so that way. I have that already done and I don't have to go back and forth with putting in the rubber bands and doing the braids. So I started out with just putting in all of the rubber bands, I'm just showing you guys how I did my parts, how many parts I did in each row, so they're total 21 boxes. And so then we did 42 braids because again we're doing two braids in each box. You can play around with these and have some fun there's. Obviously, no one set way of doing them, so you don't have to do your boxes, the same exact size or the same exact amount. You can make bigger parts or you can make a little smaller parts. If you wanted to also with the braids, you can make your braids thicker or you can make your braids Slimmer, but I will say with the braids, is that you want to make sure that they are not too slim because then they just start to look. Not so full as far especially for box braids, you don't want box, braids your box braids to not be full, so you definitely want some full box braids so make sure your braids are just not too thin but, like I said, definitely play around with it. So you guys seen how I started it out with just splitting the um, the hair into two equal halves, and then I just started with doing a regular knotless box braids the braiding hair that I'm using is, of course, my princess diamond and Company braiding hair blend. This is the fall blend. If you guys have not seen me do that blend, I will link it above, so you guys can go check it out, and the link to my website will be down in the description if you're wanting to purchase this hair blend all together, I used six packs Of my braiding hair blend keep in mind my braiding hair blend comes in a different quantity than you would purchase if you were getting just regular, pre-stretched hair at your local beauty supply store. So if that's what you're doing, I would say, maybe maybe three packs like the packages that have that come three bundles in a pack, then you would need three packs of hair. But, like I said, if you're getting braiding hair from me, then I use six packs. I think I'm gon na just start telling people uh five to seven packs of hair is needed for like knotless box braids, because I used to just say five, because that is what I typically use. But I do know that people tend to use more or less so I'm just going to start telling people five to six or excuse me, five to seven packs of hair, if you're doing a style like knotless box braids and just allow them to determine how many They think they would need based on how, based on like the average, that they normally use if they normally used about the same, as you know, everybody else or if they typically use less than other people or if they typically use more than other people wow. That was way too much explaining to do. Let'S get back to the video, I think you guys get the concept of it. I did the exact same thing with the other: half just did another knotless box braid and then just try to keep your braids. Obviously, even all throughout keep them the same size, but that's really all it is to it you're just doing um you're, just putting rubber bands around your parts and then you're creating two knowledge box braids within each part, so yeah for anything else. Detail that you guys are wanting explanation on example, how to tuck that video can be will be linked in the description you guys can go check it out how to add braiding hair to extend the length that video will also be down in the description. If you wanted a more detailed tutorial on that, you guys can go check that one out as well. So when I'm doing my knowledge box braids, I typically added five strands of braiding hair, but then I did add some more and the only reason why I did that was not really necessarily to extend the length but just to keep the braid size. Even as we passed her natural hair because of the way her natural hair tapered out tapered off, it would have just slimmed down the braid dramatic, drastically or dramatically drastically. Is that the word I'm looking for, but it would have just slimmed down the braid. So I added some little pieces in while I was starting to pass her natural hair. You guys, let me know what you think of this style again. We know it's not new, but it is a new trend because we haven't done it on adults before right and do you guys think that it's too childish for adults or are you feeling it? I think they look really cute and I think um they look nice and and full like you yeah. They look good, but let me know what you guys think I pretty much just finished it off like. I would just finish off any other box: braids, not less box braids, you know, oiling the scalp pudding mousse and dipping the braids in hot water, and that was it so you guys make sure to stick around. So you can see the finished results and also be able to see a close-up of the braids and what the braiding hair blend looks like close up. Let me know what you guys think over all of the braids of the blend of the style, and I will talk to you guys in my next video and I hope you guys be blessed. Stay protected and stay filled with love and peace. Bye guys, foreign foreign foreign, thank you, foreign foreign, foreign,
