My New Crochet Hair | 100% Kanekalon Braiding Hair

What'S up everybody, my name is jamila AKA, jamie and welcome to my channel. So today I'm gon na be talking about my new hairstyle that I recently did. It'S only been a couple of days since I've done it. This is a crochet style. I used one hundred percent cankle on hair from vivica fox, and I sudden about that sowed i crocheted in about six or so pecs closer to seven. I still have a little bit of hair left um. I actually have somewhere here and i have a clip of it, but like just this type of hair, so should we usually bird your hair with um, i created about seven packs of this hair to come up with this full main type of look. It'S very long. Um, it's very thick um. I can insert a picture of what it looks like from the back, but my hair comes to about right here. That'S my waist and i love it. I literally can deal um. I can deal with the hair, because this is what I want. I like a lot of hair, and I this is a protective style for me because I live in Boston. So it's about to get really cold and rainy, and I want to just protect my hair and I've also had my hair out, like all um, all the way up until this point since, like the summer and at my hair, genuinely needed a break, it was really Coiling around it, so I was really really busy and I couldn't really take care of it like how I wanted to so. I decided to put it away, and I decided to do this stuff, seen a lot of like croche crochet styles, or they have straight hair where they have curly hair, and I decided to do something like that. So this is like it looks like natural hair blown out hair and I really really like it. So my crochet pattern. I just want to talk about that for a little bit I had quote, I had um, I crochet pattern is corn rows up until this point - and this is about this - this much of my head. So let the front there's corner onto the back, and then I have my crown. So it's in like a circular motion - and I don't know if you can see like my crown - is pretty flat but um. It'S like a circular braid like in this section now in the back. I have a zigzag type of situation going on back there. So when I want to put it up in a ponytail, a high ponytail, I can um, so that would make it look seamless. It won't look um like a crochet, it will blend well um, there's some pros and cons to this hair. Since I decided to do um the crochet hair that was like for braiding, like 100 stink pickle on here, you can't put like heat to it. You can't curl it um. This is like something I would dip in water. If I want to give it a curl pattern, um, it has quite a bit of shedding, as I you know expected, just a hundred percent can't go on. Hair does like, if it snags on something it's gon na like pull a little bit um. It tangles it tangles a little bit um, but you can't really tell honestly you can't really tell that it's tangle, sometimes in the back. It'S going to tangle, but literally, if you run your fingers through it and just get those tangles out, everything will be fine just so you guys know what to expect with the hair see. This hair was about 199, a peck, and that's why I decided to do it because it's cheap and I just want to try it out so with 199, a peck hair. This is what you're going to get it's going to shed its going to be um. It'S going to be a lot, it's very thick, so if you want a smaller um, you don't want to estic, I say: take smaller steps. I took really big, like parts of pécs put them close together, because i was going for this long mane type of look, and i want to see how long I can keep this up. There are many different styles that you can do. You can do like half up half down, you can have it in a ponytail to the back. You can just have it down like this. It'S a lot of hair and I really really loved it. Honestly, I don't know about anybody else like doing this. It like may have a bit of a strain on your neck, but if you're used to like having braids it's similar to that, it's just a weight that you're going to have to get used to it's a little lighter than that. Because it's like your hair's not packed into it, it's not a dance thing. It'S really really fluffy really really um. I'Ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. So far, so it looks really good at night. My routine is just to tie it up in a high bun and put a huge, huge, huge bonnet on. I have this big bonnet and I put it on my head after I do the ponytail and then I wrap a scarf around my edges to protect my edges. So it's really easy for me to maintain this hairstyle. I'M also going to be doing other hairstyles with it. Oh I'm gon na really experiment with his hair, but this hair is really cheap, it's really affordable and with 199 pack of hair I expect there to be shedding. I expect it to be just like this. I don't expect it to be sweet. I don't expect it to be bone straight. At any point, I expect big, huge hair, that's easier to maintain so um. I really like this hair. Overall, it's only been a couple of days. I did go through the airport with this. Yes, I got patted down um because it's a lot of hair, but I really really like it and it's really long and it's my style, I'm very eccentric. I like to be out there um with my hair and with my makeup. Sometimes it can get tiring with his hair, constantly um and the way that you would like it around this is just you know, tie a little tired and then push it back. There'S your solution to that.
