Hi beautiful I'm here to show you how I am bury my box braids by using acrylic ink and alcohol. You would need super pigmented, acrylic ink from the brand speedball, not paint but eat. I wish somebody would have told me all the things I'm going to tell you right now, so make sure you listen very carefully. You need to go online just to see what colors they have. Michaels and Joanne's are the two stores that are very known to have this ink. I would call them before you make a purchase to see if they have the color you need. If you choose to call Michaels and Joanne, let them know that it's so cruel. A kick in the jar and not the pens, and sometimes they like to say they don't have it, but most of the time they probably do have the acrylic ink and have no clue that it's in the store. It will also need rubbing alcohol, make sure it's 70 % spray bottles, gloves newspaper and a light. Color choice of braiding hair. Today, I'm working with the color 6e from Bobby vos jumbo braid. Some people have been asking me: can you color 1b or darker colors, and you actually can now? This process gets very crazy and very messy, so you want to use a newspaper to cover up areas. You do not want the ink to get on. Also, the newspaper works well with absorbing the excess ink from when you spray the hair. Now you can see that I've already sprayed the middle of my braiding hair black, using the spray bottle with the mixture of black acrylic ink and alcohol. Since I'm going from a black purple to a blond, I'll show you how I mix the purple and sprayed it on the hair, make sure you have your handy-dandy gloves and your rubbing alcohol and make sure that it's 70 % make sure to shake that acrylic ink. Well, so I realized that if you add a little bit of acrylic ink with the alcohol, the colors will come out like so today. I'M gon na add a lot of acrylic ink and since I have two packs of braiding hair, I'm going to add a lot of alcohol warning. I'Ve only seen this method to work on the ultra and Bobby boss brains, jumble, braiding, hair. Some people say that other brands do not work with this method. Oh just try it out, or just simply, by ultra and bobby boss, and now I'm gon na pour my rubbing alcohol into the spray bottle and stop when I'm almost close to the top, then I'm gon na close it and shake the spray bottle. You me personally, I would use cold water to wash out the hair you now. I wanted my hair a particular way, so I used the Bobby Blas color purple braiding, hair and installed it on each side of my head. Then, in the back on each side I have the color 1b. I also buy my cute little silver jewelry hair clips and my local beauty supply store. I had so much fun doing my hair and making this video for you all. Don'T forget to subscribe. Anne Marie Estabrooks: Your hair looks awesome! I noticed some of your posters were asking about the hair brand, but I think you only need to make sure it's made of 100% Kanekalon. It's a Japanese heat-resistant fibre that a lot of wigs made in China/Japan, etc are made of. But don't let the words "heat-resistant" fool you. I think in most cases the 'basic' heat coverage is only up to 180 Degrees Celcius.Other stores claim it's flame retardant. Who knows? Some wigs made with it can withstand slight heat before wilting dismally, while others you can actually use heated tools like a curling iron or flat iron (though even then, they caution against it if you want your wig to last). Basically, it's like anything else, the more expensive you go, the better quality, thus the ability to use heated curling tools 'occasionally'. But if I'm wrong and there's something specific to braiding hair, please let me know, otherwise, I'm going to try this myself :)
