Today, i'm going to be showing you how to do crochet so that it looks like it's coming straight from the scalp i haven't seen anyone do this technique um the way i do this twist. It looks like it's individual, but it is not it's actually crochet and they came out super pretty on my model, so let's get into it all right. So the reason why you see me slicking her edges with shining jam is because we're going to do the front. First, okay, um the front is where i want to have the illusion and the individual look of the style, and so that's what i'm going to do the front first and so i'm just sectioning the area where i'm going to do the individual illusion technique. So that's what i'm doing right now and i'm going to basically do about two rows for this technique in front okay. You could also do this if you want to put the hair up in the ponytail, so you could do around the perimeter but she's basically just going to wear the hair, mostly showing the front. So that's why i'm focusing on the front first, all right. So, let's start so i'm going to start off by doing little box braids in front about two rows, but even though i'm doing two rows, you could do as many rows as you want. You could even do this technique throughout the head if you want as well. If you want to have the individual look throughout the head, okay, i know there are some other videos that i have seen that do this like individual technique, where they do box braids and then they connect it into cornrow and then crochet the hair. The difference between what they do and what i'm about to show you today is to avoid the knot when they crochet the hair and also to make the hair looks like it's coming from the scalp. So what i'm about to show? You is going to give you the illusion effect to look like the crochet hair is coming straight from the scalp okay and to make it look more natural. So i'm just back reading the hair about an inch before we actually start to do the technique. So the hair we're going to be using today is from amazon, and this is a short passion twist by leon yeri on amazon, okay. So this is the 14 inch pack of seven and the color that i got is the t30 i'm currently holding seven packs of the hair, and i absolutely love this hair. You guys especially the color like it, is super super soft and it has a very nice um, texture and luster. I love the pattern of the twist. This is how i would normally twist my hair, if i'm doing passion twist, and they also have a lot of different colors. If you don't want this color, they have like other colors as well on the amazon store like if you want burgundy. If you want black, if you want blonde whatever color you want and for this technique, you need a crochet hair with a very soft loop, and i love that this hair, their loop, is actually very good and easy to work with. So the technique is basically crocheting. The hair, through the braid, through the individual braid like this and then passing the braid through, so what you don't want to do for this technique, is you don't want to crochet in the hair backwards? Okay, so this is a backwards direction that i'm doing right now, if you crochet it like this you're not going to get the illusion effect, so direction is key here, so after crocheting and passing the braid through in the forward direction, i'm going to connect that braid To the next braid, you could continue to do this throughout the whole head, but i'm only going to do this for the first two rows of the braid. Okay and the reason why i am passing the braided head through the loop instead of the actual crochet hair, is to avoid that big lump of knot. As you can see, there is no knot and it's going to give you that illusion effect to look like the crochet hair is actually coming from her scalp. So, since i'm only doing two rows in front after i'm done crocheting the two hair, i'm just going to do the cornrow braids for the rest of the head, so you don't have to do the front and then do the cornrow. You could actually just finish doing the the front before you start to do the cornrow, but i decided to do this cornrow on this side, because i want to connect it to the cornrow on the left side. You'Re gon na see me doing that, and so now that i'm done doing this cornrow, i'm just going to finish all the crochet, the individual crochet illusion method in the front. Okay, before i do the rest of the cornrows so just keep on watching, because there's also another important step that i'm going to show you guys towards the end of this video of how to basically lay the style even more flat, so just keep on watching. Okay, i'm done crocheting the front, i'm just going to connect it into all the cornrows in the back. So this is how i'm going to connect it, i'm going to make that braid, a third strand and just like braid it all together, like this all the way. Until i reach the ends guys, i am super grateful that this short passion twist crochet hair, actually made this process quicker because my model came late. So we started this hair late, but i was done in like an hour and a half like that's, basically how long it took. If i were to twist this hair from scratch by myself. It would have taken longer. So if you want to get the individual look and the illusion look and the natural looking crochet using this technique, make sure you get the short passion twist from this company on amazon, i'm going to leave the link to their store in the description box. So i'm done doing the cornrows, i'm just using my needle and thread to just stitch the hair in before i actually push it the hair normally, so i'm going to apply some smooth and shine moves. You guys know this is my go-to mousse, i'm just going to work the most on the hair, i'm also going to add another mousse. I should keep on watching. Okay, you're gon na see me doing that, but guys look at the color. Oh, i love the color. You guys i'm definitely gon na try the 350 next and see how that look all right, so we're getting to the final step. So, first i'm going to just make sure her edges are slayed out of the way and i'm using um cream of nature edge control for her edges. And after this i'm going to apply some cantu mousse okay. So this is what i'm going to use. I'M going to apply directly to the front right near her edges, okay, i love the texture of the cantu mousse because it's very very soft and it's just going to make the twist to lay flat. So i'm just going to tie the twist now, just tie it down with my strips and i'm just going to tie twice. Okay and after i'm done tying it i'm just going to blow dry the the twist. So this is going to help you to lay flat. You could even tie it overnight to lay even more flatter but guys look at the result. I absolutely love everything about this style from the technique to the hair itself. It'S just simply beautiful and you could just get up and go you
