Creating a partlines for cornrows

Creating a partlines is important part of braiding. Changing the shape of the partings you can create incredible cornrow hairstyles! In this easy hair tutorial I show to you how to braid side cornrows. When you part the hair, you need stable hand. I suggest you make the parting with determined hand, not slowly and carefully. But you can always fix the partline afterwards - it doesn't need to be perfect with one stroke!

Dutch braid, how to braid cornrows

Take a small section of hair and separate it in three equal sections. Beginning to bring hair strands from side under to the middle. Add hair to the braid from both sides of the braid. Focus to hold the hair strand you are moving, tightly between two fingers. I use thumb-fore finger and thumb-middle finger holdings.Notice that YOU DON'T NEED

to hold all strands tightly! I hold the strands on sides with my ring finger and little finger, so they are easier to pick up when I need to use them. In theory you can let them go 100% if you want and it doesn't effect how tight your braid will be IF you tight the strand you're going to move before you start to moving it. The strand you moving MUST be tight and that settle how tight your braid will be.

HAIR TIPS:

If you're struggling with part lines, I suggest you to try wet your hair before parting. In that way the most smallest strands won't escape from your fingers so easily.

Braiding technique (how you hold the strands) is easier with bigger strands at first. But once you learn to hold strands you can braid using one hair at time without any problem! At the beginning the braiding is easier when you can see / feel the strand in your fingers.

Search the holding that works for you! Keepin gthe strands in fist doesn't usually work as you cannot keep them tight enough in that way!

Beginning the braiding from top of the head and move downwards. In this way you cannot poking the braids all the time.

THE MOST COMMON PROBLEMS

Braid is too loose.

Focus to hold strand you are moving tighter. Notice that before every move you need to pull hairstrand tight again!

Hair stick out between the stitches

Sometimes the hair quality is kind of that the hair doesn't naturally turn inside of the braid, instead of the braid looks like hairy worm! In this case twisting the hair strand works almost every time. So twist the hair to inwards before bringing the hair strand under to the middle.

Braid is bigger / smaller than I expect

The size of the braid you can change the best to make smaller / bigger partlines. In fine hair is very hard to make big cornrows without using hair extensions or without pancaking the braid. If you pancake the braid, it won't be tight anymore and it won't last as long as it would without pancaking.

Hello, everyone. This is hair tutorials with my hairstyle EXO before starting. I would really appreciate if you would subscribe my channel and click the thumbs up for this video. Thank you and welcome to the my channel. I hope you will like what you see hi insta toriel. I will show you how to create, because Freddie the cornrows is very easy after you learn how to hold the strands first, I will part my hair for the cornrows. I start by taking rectangle from the side, and then I put the rest of my hair back to the ponytail, so it won't be on my way after that I'll part, this rectangle in three equal sections. If you struggle to create these parties merely enough try to use water for your hair before starting, then the most of all stair success are easier to handle. Then I will tie these two sections below with an elastic and start trading with the topmost piece and before I start the parade, I went three hair totally and makes the parading much more easier start by taking tiny piece of hair from the front. The variety section in three equal pieces then start to braid without spray by bringing hair ultimately under the middle one, and the most important thing with these cornrows is that you need to hold the strand you're. Moving with two fingers like this, the strand you're moving at the time must be super tight. Otherwise the parade will be loose and when you add hair, I suggest you to bring the hair strand under through the middle first and then add hair. That'S how the strand, you add, goes directly inside the crate and I think that's the much more easier way to make pray to tight, bring the hair strand again from the side under through the middle and add hair. Make sure that strand you moving is very tightly between your fingers. Many things and corners are hard to do as you need to hold all the strands super tight, but, as you can see, it's not in that way at all. As you can see, some of the hair strands are very loose. While I prayed you just need to know which one you can keep closer and which one you need to keep tight. The way how you still keep the strands tight is very personal and there's many as well ways do it. I personally do it kind of two different ways. I personally hold the strands with my right hand between my forefinger and thumb, but with the left hand, I hold strands between my middle finger and thumb. I don't know what's that, but I suggest you the try, which position is great for you keep on writing like this. Until your credit, the whole open sexing inside is prayed. Please notice that, under this video on the description, you can always find more tips and advices. How to make your praise better this time, I also add a short list about the most common mistakes with these breaks. So if you have any troubles, please check out the list. You might find the solution for your problem now. The first parade is ready, and I start with the second one before starting, I wet my hair totally to get more tighter parades, take a small piece of hair and separate it in three equal sections. Then start the parade without sprayed by priming hair. Ultimately, under the middle one after Houston sees start to add hair to the parade. Add hair from the both sides of the braid, again notice that you hold the strands between your fingers. That'S the best way to keep strands tight. Remember that you don't need to keep all the strands tied important is that you hold is turned you're moving at the time very tight. Others won't be necessary if you try the cornrows at the first time notice that the more smaller your strands are the more harder they are to hold. So if you struggle at the beginning, try a little bit more bigger strength, so you can learn the right technique and when you do the Tristram price, I suggest you to move the strand from the side under or the middle before, adding hair. When you add hair after moving the Strand, didn't move to added hair right inside the braid and make sure that the strand you added is tight, keep on fighting until you credit the whole section to this braid you then I start to braid the third and the Last braid, beginning again by using water on your hair, then take a small piece of hair and separate it in three sections right, exactly like you did before bring the strands from side Thunder through the middle. Add hair from the both sides, and the most important thing is that you make sure that you keep the strand you rolling at the time very tightly between your fingers. You you you, you and here's the planner result. Thank you for watching this video. Hopefully I will see you again, you

Weeping trees: Laughs in middle eastern and thick curly hair. Anyways some tips for my ethnic besties is wet and brush all of ur hair and then do 1 braid then wet and brush only the area for the next braid since the water will dry up fassssstttt. If ur braiding and the section ur using drys spray it wet again or else it will frizz and get hard to braid. Use a lot of argon oil and when ur finally done w the air style use a soft curly hair mouse to protect the style and prevent frizz.
