Hey, ladies, this is Brianna, and I want to show you how I did my box braids so in, but before we get started, I'm asking all of you who are watching to please subscribe to this channel and thumbs up this video. If you haven't already - because I really love showing you guys how to do these styles on yourself for free - and I want to help as many women as I possibly can - my goal is to get to 500,000 subscribers, and I know with your help we can make It happen now, let's play this look, these are the materials that you are going to need to create this super beautiful hairstyle. I use three packs of yaki, weaving hair and two packs of super jumbo braiding hair. Now, for our first west of extensions, this is how you want to actually prepare your braids, because this is a box braid. So in so you want to use track hair. In order to create this look as an example, I'm showing you how you want to actually prepare your hair when you're beginning to braid, and I highly suggest, to choose a kinky texture, type of hair or a Yacky texture in order to create a realistic look with Your box braids, so you know that someone's typically take about two to three hours sitting on how fast you are and box braids can literally take upwards of eight hours to do depending on how big your braids are. So this should help you to achieve the style in as little as four hours. So now, what we're going to do is actually begin dipping our end of our braids into hot water, because, even though this is yaki hair, you still want to make sure it's still. The ends, so that's a braise, won't unravel now. It'S very important that you leave that in literally for a couple of minutes, because this is made with 100 % human hair. So I have a tendency to take a little bit of the time for it to actually mold so that it doesn't unravel at the end, then, when you pull it out, the water you're just going to Pat it dry with your towel. This stuff is so important. So that the braids on your web is not frizzy, that's why you want to Pat it and slightly squeeze it so that it's fully dry after drying your bundles. This is how it should look at so far, and at this point this is how my braid pattern looks, and you want to make sure that you separate the toes into two sections so that you can braid two braids. Now what I like to do when I'm raising my hair is to always break straight to the back going away from the park, because it makes your install look is very very flat, especially when it's near the side. So you just continue braiding all the way to the very end, and I'm going to show you really quickly how you want to position your braid, you stitching them down simply cross them in the back, and you pull the tails up in order to see now what You see right here is exactly how I do my braid pattern for regular sewing, and it also comes in handy when doing this box very technique. You want to make sure that you're using a curved needle and you want to use nylon, sewing thread so that it doesn't cause any snagging or ripping on your hair in order to fit your braids. I always go through both braids and wrap the thread around the needle twice go through and that creates e or not. You want to make sure you going up a little bit of a space at a time for your first couple of knots, and then you want to skip about half an inch at a time so that you can quickly sit down your braids. The really cool thing. I like about doing this sewing technique when I'm actually creating this base. Is that it's super super fun? You don't have to do your braids, really small, because you won't be wearing the style for extremely long. This is just a very quick and easy way to pull off the look of box braids without actually having to box Freight your entire head - and at this point this, how your braid pattern should look with the leave out at the top in a two braids in The front will be your leave out as well. Now I'm just going to show you, for instance, how wide you want your sections to be so, as you can see, this will serve as a middle part box braids. So in hairstyle and on both sides, you can see that's where you leave that will be, and you can see that the thickness will allow for about two rows of braids at the pass. Now, it's time to fix down our hair extension, make sure you doing the same stitching technique in order to slow down your lips, as you did with your actual grade. Keep in mind that this is an advanced hairstyle, because you're incorporating the so in with the box. Braiding methods to Colossus, really cool. Look now, I'm going to show you here that you're always going to stick your extensions on both sides of your employment rate. This enables used to have a lot of fullness in the back and it also will prevent your extensions from being cleaned because you have to sew differently. So I never actually saw this was before. But I thought hey: why not give it a try and see how it turns out now we're going to start stitching on this braid here, and you want to make sure that you already attached your needle and thread to your web so that when you pull it Through your braid, it goes exactly in the spot where you want to begin now, make sure you're sewing on the opposite side of that braid, because remember, you want to sew on both sides of your former braid, to make your hair look very, very full. Now, for many of you, while watching that may say hey, you are not supposed to sewing your extensions vertically. I know you suppose it's all horizontal do the flip over method, but with this particular style. This is how you actually hide the wet so that when you're fully finished, you don't see rows of extensions, because I'm stitching vertically and the braids are falling they're, covering simultaneously up the track so that you don't see them when you're wearing this style. I noticed that when I did so horizontally in the back that no matter how I positioned the web can make the braid follow certain way. I still saw the West, so that's one trick. I want you to keep in mind so that it conceals your web. Now that we're fully song in I'm just showing you a look of how it looks in the back now, you see a few lessons totally fine, but this technique allows you to cover up the majority of the web, so it vertically I'm just pointing to show you That, with your first track, you want to make sure you literally tell going all the way around the perimeter of your head for this particular style. This is going to make sure that you're able to pull off the look. If you fit your extensions vertically meaning up and down now, we are almost done and I'm going to show you how to actually go about braids if you're not sure how to do it. One of my tricks for very neat and beautiful grades, especially at the roots, is to put edge control at the top area of the brain and also, if it's out in now, you want to make sure you feather out your braiding hair, so that your braid comes To a fine point - and you want to pinch off a small amount of here now, depending on how big your braids are on your left - will determine how big your box braids need to be. Really briefly, I'm going to show you how to actually create a box. Braids but first you got ta press their hair right, so you want to pinch off a third and wrap it around the 2/3. The bigger section grab your 3 main fingers and pinch the hair there and then, with your left dominant hand, you're going to insert your hand here through the area holding the hair. Just like you see here and then you're going to rotate these three fingers - and this is your dominant hand and then you're going to open your pincher in your thumb, so grab that third leg. So now we have three separate legs, and this is the techniques that I like to use when I'm actually braiding individual braids make sure you divide your section into two pieces, because this ensures that your brain will not slide off now. First, you're going to begin attaching the braiding hair to this first piece here and it's very important that you maintain control and grip with all three legs so that your hair does not slide off of your section. You'Re going to braid this a couple of times and then you're going to grab that loose hair here and add it to a different leg. In order to actually pull off this individual braid, you want to make sure that you divide it into two pieces and then, when you're braiding it you're very consistent on your tension. All three legs: you may not get it your first time! That'S why? When doing box race, you have to crack it, you have to continue to practice until you get the style down like is nothing so now we're just going to keep braiding going all the way down to the end, and that's why I was very important to already Put edge controls in the very end here because it keeps the split inside of your box raised without causing any fridge. Not this point you're going to slightly cut me in because you want to make sure that all your braids come to the exact same, and what you want to do is slightly go down at an angle, so it can go at a fine point. At the end. Make sure that you always pinch off some of your hair from one of your legs so that you can make all of your legs. Even then we want to allow you to break to the very very end and that my friends is how you a sub box. Braids, now that we're all done, I'm just pushing some of the braids to the back to show you how painless this looks and, ladies that is it for the box braids sewin hairstyle. hbcarla: Am I the only one who thought she was going to add hair to the track hair.

Khristana Sowels: awesome way of using a different technique but i feel if you would've braided the braids on the sewin smaller it wouldve look more fuller instead of spaced out.... great video

Aquwa Jana': Your tutorials are always so helpful ! Thanks !

CaliBelle: Using smaller sections, you could have did a feed in method to get the braid started closer to the track and not as many tracks would be needed. Also do a leave out around the back, sides and front to actually braid in singles to make the style more versatile and hide those tracks.

Veronica: The front looks good but the back looks weird!! Too much spacing

qtbeddecor: Ingenious!!!!!! Okay, now let's critique this. Just braid more, and smaller cornrows is the back. You'll probably need to use more wefted hair, but the wefts will be closer together. Other than that, this was great. Thanks for sharing this new method. xoxoxox

OnlySincere: THIS IS AMAZING!!

Indias face: I just bought a pack of tracks with the braids already on it .... made by Janet collection

Nkechi Katherine Ezeka: Love the way you are detailed. Good job!

Vanessa Trotter: THANK YOU SO MUCH I DID THIS ON A WIG WITH DEEP WAVE FRENCH WET AND WAVY BULK WEFT AND CUT FOUR HUNDRED GRAMS WORTH OF HUMAN HAIR BULK OFF THE WEFT FOR THE TOP OF THE WIG TO FORM THE KNOTLESS PORTION AND A BUNCH OF HUMAN HAIR BULK WEFT BRAIDED INTO BRAIDS TO FILL UP THE REMAINDER OF THE WIG IM CERTAIN THE ENTIRE WIG IS OVER ONE THOUSAND GRAMS BUT ITS IN THE COLORS 99J 1B AND IT IS A BEAUTIFUL HUMAN HAIR BRAIDS WIG EVERY BRAID IS 14-15 INCHES ITS NOT SYNTHETIC ITS REAL AND IT ONLY WORKED OUT BECAUSE OF THIS METOD RIGHT HERE THANK YOU BRANNA I WISH I COULD SHOW YOU PICTURES OF MY HUMAN HAIR BRAIDS WIG DONE WITH YOUR METHOD MY NAMES VANESSA BLACK ST JAMES I PLAN ON DOING ANOTHER BRAIDS WIG WITH YOUR MOTHOD WOW MUCH LOVE!

Sarah MayWest: just a suggestion to learners....you can also pin it with tpins to a Styrofoam wig head. It'll be easier on your back lol. oan it's on point

Parita Charlouis: I am in love with this style u go girl

Fabulusdiva 4mga: Kool idea!! ,but I'll add crochet box braids in between the track braids to make the weft not look so spaced out and the back would be fuller(jmo)

Lillian Corley: Amazing!

Allena Rust: Wow! Awesome!

Opinionated: The front looks good but it's far too spaced in the back. I feel like, with a bit more thought and effort, that this technique could be workable.

TheStassia1: Very creative but not a fan of how it looks from the back

Summer_Jay: Can you do a video about how to make a lace frontal wig. I just feel like you are so descriptive

Yo Co: Did this before. Just have to make it thicker in the back

livelovelaugh: This seems like a lot of work.

Miss Meme: i love this video..... i notice you sound more pleasant--- great job...

QueenMlDAS: okay so I watch your videos all the time but this is a definite no it's a great idea but the up-and-down vertical is no I think that if you try it again and actually so it in like a regular so went back and forth around your head with a little bit more tricks it actually will look better and Fuller in the back and then do the individual cornrows of the top but overall great idea great concept just a little bit different approach

Alisa Klonnãl: When she held the last one up

Samantha wilson: A for creativity F for the back way to much spacing

라카: you're so pretty you kind of look like brandy norwood.

Be: I just wish you were my own hairstylist

Jade Heredia: It looks wierd from back view!!,

Mrs.Jones_: I love your videos but this one is a no go

Chiquita Brooks: I'm gonna try this it's a great idea but I don't think it's the right way to braid it

missladyzee44: So you're basically sewing the wept vertically instead of horizontal?

Braids Wig Queen: very creative

Lydia Joseph Phillip: Naaaa, it's a no for me, I can see the bulk.

ClassicMe: Looks good in the front, but not the back, sorry :( :(

Jeany Jean: I like it

Mitny: never seen anything like that before

BroadyCEU: hell no lmao...just crochet it in...this method may have been an option before crochets took over the internet and made it simple to get many time consuming styles with ease... nice try though

MSNOLLY1: Seems like a waste of time.

Carmela Grace: really box braids sew in

Ms Bossy: This is very creative but however the hair is 41.00 a bag and you need 3 to 4 depending on how full you want it that's 83-124 dollars plus you still need the regular braiding hair for the front to cover up those expensive tracks. This is a no for me the look doesn't match the money. I got more time than I do money so I will stick with regular method or latch hook. But thanks for sharing.

Queennubian 25: Boy, she happy sah!

brandi: I'm all the way lost with this

Karlee Craziness: Has anyone ever told you look like Brandi from Moesha?
