We were taking my sister back wad the comments on the last video we're so incredible. Everyone left her grin hair. I love to regret hair everyone's obsessed then, but she does not feel like herself, so we were going to be going back just a little bit lighter, but we're not going back to her ice blonde. We'Re going to be doing a really pretty dimensional warp blonde. So in this video we are going to be talking about how we are going to pull this red out of her hair and give her a brighter appearance, and then we're also going to be talking about the difference between hand, tied and machine webbed extensions. So if you were interested in watching this stay tuned, okay, so step, one is going to be clarifying the hair. We are using Kevin, Murphy's maxi, wash the reason we are doing. This is because clarifying shampoo usually helps strip out the color a little bit. So we are going to be washing her hair, three or four times with this before we get going on the color. We just took all of her extensions out, and this is the result - crazy, crazy mess on the counter. So this is her before, as you can see, that clarifying wash really did help strip out the color she's left with like a golden blonde with a lot of red undertones. As you can see here in the front, it's still pretty red, but it did lift out really well just with that maxi wash now we are mixing up, switch cuffed blonde me, as you guys know. If you follow me on Instagram, this is my favorite Lightner. As of right now, it lifts so so well and it's such a gentle smooth, lift with usually no damage which is really really nice. I'M use it with 20 volume, and I am just mixing it up here with a whisk. So we get a nice smoother result and this Lightner actually has a bond enhancement built inside of it. So we actually don't need to add olaplex, which is really really nice, so we are going to be doing foils today we're going to be doing just a half highlight the reason we are doing this is I just want to see how her hair lifts out and Then we will do a full if it goes well. These are the extensions we are going to be using. I am so so excited on this video. We are going to be talking about the difference, machine webs and hand-tight west, so you guys will see me demoing. Those on her and I'm so excited to talk a little bit more about that. So we are just doing a very fine baby lie. As I said before, we are just doing a half head right now, but we are packing these foils and really really tightly. We are taking it all the way down, because we are trying to kick out most of that red. I just have to say you guys. I am so so impressed with red can shades eq. You guys know that I have used them for years and years and years, but I usually use them for toning, not for all-over colors and I just have to say we only touched up her color red once with the shade DQ it faded out. So so naturally, but it also held really well - and you guys will see here in a minute that I also lifted out really well with minimal damage and it also lifted out really evenly so I'm actually a big user of shades eq for all-over colors. Now, especially if it's someone just wanting a temporary change, look, I told you guys look how amazing this lifted out. It only been on the hair about 20 minutes at this point and it's white in the foil and it's such an even lift because we saturated really well and the baby lights just help it lift out so nicely. So now we were just doing a little bit of a route smudge and we are using gold well color, on seven and seven and a right here, and I just wanted to give her a little bit of a smudge that she has a natural shadow. Especially since we aren't going for a white blonde, we're going for more like a rooted, dimensional blonde. So that's what we are doing here. I am taking it down about a half inch to an inch just depending on this section, and then we are going to start toning. I always think it's really important to comb through your route smudges and your route shadows just so that it gives it a really natural blend. I do have a olaplex or a deep conditioner on my clients when I do this just so that there is no smudging and also gives them a treatment while their root is sitting. But this is like the most satisfying part just combing through and seeing it start to process and the blend. I love it so much it's like my favorite part. Ok! So now we are toning and I am using 9 v, 9 and B and I'm doing the V to help cancel out some of the yellow and then the NB, because it's a natural beige and I'm going for more like a natural, dimensional blond. As I told you guys - and I think this will really help complement some of the golden tones that are still in her hair from the leftover red, so I am just saturating this through and we left it on about 5 minutes in the bowl. Okay, the color is done, so we are just getting it dried before we start on the extensions, as you guys can see here she lifted so well, I'm so so happy with it. Obviously, we still have some red left throughout and luckily it just looks like a golden low light with the bright blonde that we achieved today. We'Re really really happy with the results and probably only one more session before she would be able to be white blonde again. Older she'd have to wait about six to eight weeks, but that's our next step. So here are the extensions we're going to be using on the Left. We have a machine left and on the right we have a hand tied weft. As you can see, the machine wave comes in one long, bundle and the hand tight comes in three or six separate bundles. If you guys follow me or my company on instagram, you know that we have full webs and half webs. These are both half west. So that's a half machine and a half hand tight and the reason we have half so so that you can add in a half a bag. If your client doesn't need to full bags or you can mix and match colors, okay. So, let's start the process of beaded West. This is a method that you can use to sew in hand tight or machine webs. It'S actually the same method, regardless of the hair. You use the only difference between machine and hand. Tied is machine er a little bit. Bull gear and they give more volume and hand tied, lay a little flatter to the head, and you don't feel them as much so just depending on what your client wants is what you would use. We are using machine webs on this first row down here to give her a little fullness underneath. So, as you can see here, I have her parted off in a clean, horseshoe section, and then I measure the section I want and I cut the hair. Then I'm going to start looping my beads on my tool right here and I am just doing little rectangular sections making sure my sections are really clean and really tight. The hairspray that I used earlier helps any baby hair stick down. So that's a really important part. As well because then you don't get those baby hairs trapped within your beads, so I am just clamping it together and then I am doing my next one, so my sections are actually really close together. I don't need any hair in between the beads, as you guys can see here and then I'm taking that bead tightening it not too tight to the scalp, but tight enough where it is going to be pretty secure. This is just something that takes practice. I do teach this method in my classes and I go over it in more depth. So if you were ever interested in any classes, there is a link below in the description box where you can sign up, but I am just taking that beaded method. All the way around the horseshoe and then we are going to be sewing the HERA. I just want to throw out there that there are actually so many different ways to do beaded web. I myself have learned about five or six different ways to do them, and this is just the way that I have tweaked a little bit to work for me and I feel like it works really well, so there is no right or wrong way unless you haven't Been certified and don't know what you're doing, but there are different kinds of ways - and this is just my way so keep in mind that everyone does it differently, and this is just how I like to do it. So those beads are all the way on and now we are going to start the selling process, so I am now positioning the hair and using these small metal clips to keep the hair in place. While I am sewing, this really helps keep your hair, nice and secure while you're sewing the track in this or having an assistant hold. The hair helps really well, while you are sewing, so we are taking a c-shaped needle. I doubled my thread and I am doing the first stitch. So, as you can see here, I am just leading a little tail at the end and then I tie it together twice to tighten it and then I'm gon na start stitching. The most important part about beaded webs, in my opinion, is getting that corner really tight. It'S hard to know whether it's going to lay flat or not, but you have to go over it a few times just to make sure that that corner is really flat. So I'm really really picky about my corners and I like to go over it a few times just to make sure that it's really secure. So I'm going over at about two or three times and as you can see here, I am letting that thread feed through my fingers so that I don't get don't get it caught in anything else and then I'm just going to continue my stitching pattern. I do a pattern of about three stitches per bead and it's a left middle right pattern. I know it's kind of hard to see here and it's kind of hard to explain just over a voiceover, but hopefully you can get the idea and then, like I said before, I do teach classes on this. If you would like to get certified and see a more in-depth process of it, my company has three different shades of beads. We have blonde caramel and dark brown, and the same goes for string. We have a blonde caramel and dark brown as well. Typically, since this is a rooted extension color, I would have done a caramel or dark brown bead and thread color, but we actually had just ran out of all of those and we only had blonde in stock. So that's why I'm using blonde on her, but she does want to be blonde. So it's totally fine, but just keep in mind that it's best to match your beads and thread to the extension color you are doing so. I am just finishing up this side. The same thing applies to this corner as well. You want really tight stitches and that way it will stay secure on both sides. This is the stitching when we are all done with it, so we are just tying up both corners and then we are going to be moving on to the next row. So on this day I was actually training one of my stylist on the beaded web. So that's what we are doing here, but I am now sectioning her next row off. The first row was dipped below underneath her nape a little bit and above her ears and the next one is just a little bit higher, but still in a horseshoe. So, as you can see here, we are doing a hand-tied weft. The only difference with hand tied webs besides them being a little bit flatter and thinner, is that they are actually a little more fragile. So, as you could see there, when I was cutting it, it started to shed a little bit and if you don't glue off the edges like I am doing here, you will have shedding. So this is a really important thing with hand tied webs. You have to have to glue them if you cut them and if you are too afraid to cut them, then it's best just to fold them over. I just like to use the brush on glue from Walmer and, as you can see here after about 10 to 20 seconds, it dries down and you'll be able to feel it because the glue hardens and then it is safe to put in your clients hair. So we are now placing our hand tied webs. We are using two bundles here and we layered them all on top of each other. You can layer anywhere from two to three bundles at a time and that would give you anywhere from four to six pieces of hair, it's hard to explain if you've never used a hand tied weft. But if you do, you know what I mean and I am just doing the exact same stitching pattern as I used for the Machine West. If you were new to hand tied West, keep in mind that the more hair you layered a little bit harder. It gets because you have to make sure that you are getting every single section of hair and that's where those clips are really important. Usually, if I layer even more hand tied wax, I will have silver Clips around the whole edge of it. Now we are getting close to the corner and I am doing the same thing, making sure those corners are really tight and secure. The nice thing about hand. Tides is, since they are thinner, they tend to lay a little bit flatter, especially in the corners, and it makes it really easy to get it nice tight and secure. I absolutely love doing beaded webs. It is one of my favorite techniques to do on my clients and if you ever have any questions about beaded webs in general, whether it's about machine webs or hand tied webs or just the beaded West method, you can feel free to DM me on Instagram or You can email our company if you have any questions about our hair or our methods. I also do teach these in classes like I have said before, and that is the best way to get certified and to see this in person and get some hands-on training. So if you ever have any questions you know there are so many different ways to do this, and I know some stylists have different preferences on the method and the hair they use. But I just wanted to show you guys what it's like to use both machine and hand tied with my beaded weft method. I think that there's no perfect method for everyone. I think everyone is individual and every client has different needs, so it is really good to be trained in all methods so that you can do what your client needs so now, since we just did those two rows, I am going to be. Moving on to tape ends the reason we are doing machine hand, tied and tapings on. Her is because I was training my stylist this day, and I thought it would also be a really good way to show you guys in a video all three methods. So since she has these tiny baby hairs underneath she likes to have T pins under here, just to give her a little bit of fullness, not every client is like that, but us around here we were extension addicts, and so we like to have the fuller, the Better, so I'm placing a few tapings under her first row of webs and then I'm also placing them up top and around the front of her hairline. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. I miss making videos as often as I used to in the past. My life has been so so crazy, but I am making a new commitment. I will have one to two videos out a week: hair tutorials lifestyle. Anything you guys want to see. So, please let me know what you would like to see in the comments below. Thank you so much for watching you guys, don't forget to Like and subscribe have a great day.

Nicole Lothian: OMG this video is exactly what I needed! Sometimes I have issues with getting the ends to lay flat but this has really helped! Thank you so much!

georgina: Would love to see a tutorial on how to cut the perfect bangs/fringe for all different types and how to determine what will look best on each client. Love your work! I'm currently finishing my hairdressing apprenticeship here in Australia and I've put some of your tips and tricks in place and loving it! ❤

Meghan Leonard: I love watching all you hair tutorials!! I always learn something new to use behind the chair, thank you

St Kirsty Maree: ✨I have watched a tonne of hair tutorials and you are by far the best! The way you explain everything is very easy to understand and also your voice is so so sweet thank you

Raquel T: So cool!! What’s the difference between this and IBE method? I know it’s hand tied hair but they are so secretive about their process...could it be much different than this or any other process?

Connor Rachele: So happy to see another video ❤️ yes please more videos!!! I would love to see a video on foil placement!

D: Great job! But at the end you showed before and after, I really liked the red! It looks great both, but the deeper color looks good on her! Love the hand tied technique!

Alexandra: you do amazing work!!

Miss G. C-B: Can thread be matched closer to her hair color? Try to finish your stitches with back sticth and tie the knot under the track. Have your client bent head forward:it makes easier for you to handle your needle to make nicer less visible stitches. Awsome video!

Emily Reeve: Omg I’ve missed you!!! I’ve been in such a hair rut and your videos always give me some kind of inspiration. Hope you had fun in China.. but SUPER glad to have you back! Lol

Christine Osterland: She looks better as a blonde!!! Great job in this tutorial!! ❤️

Michael Harper: Beautiful!!! What length did you use? And do you only sew behind the beads or throughout the whole row of hair? I hope this makes sense❤️

Jess J: Thank you for all your videos!! Great tips an tricks! Would love to see how you add hair in the front, well really front sides, temple area. That seems to be my biggest struggle!

Emily Nichols: I love bead in extensions! I always get nervous about getting enough hair at the temple area without being to close to the part! Any tips for that area?! And what did you use to fill in that area on her?!

Cynthia Butler: I enjoyed watching this one, I have been thinking about getting hair extensions would love to see more about them and how to look for someone good to put them in where I leave. But love your hair extension line.

Katrina Fowler: SHOOK OMG I just started looking into extensions. I have never had them before so I have so many questions, but this looked amazing. and you can't even tell the length of her hair before. o.m.g. I love. So. Much.

Huma Khan: Not a hair professional but I really was interested in sewn in extensions ❤️

The Crafty Hairdresser Cards and Hair: Fabulous work as usual and very informative. Can’t wait until you ship to the UK .

Angela Marie: I love all of your videos!! Idc what you post lol I learn from it all!!!! Your truly amazing and I just adore you!!!

Michelle Golden Hairstylist: Awesome thanks u for doing this video!! Do you always do tape in ones on the sides with clients or just sometimes??

Eli4shawt: I’m surprised that you combed out the smudge before putting on the toner but at the same time it totally makes sense so great to keep in mind

Ketté Hair - Kim Jetté: beautiful! Love your work!! xoxo

Brecken Victoria: I hope I can afford your extensions one day ❤️

Alex Sant: Damn this was amazing !!! It looks so freaking good. !!!

Summer Smith: I’ve tried a few methods of beaded wefts but might give this a try! My only question is, can having that big of a section of hair in a bead cause breakage from overdirecting and tension?

lizzygray12: Holy moly. Her hair looks amazing !! Dang girl

Sarah Deganna: I bought your hand sewn extensions and they came through the string and made loops in areas and made it have tangles. I'm not sure if I'm explaining that correctly. Would getting the machine weft one be better for preventing that?

Cyntia Micaela: Not gonna lie, I felt bad for that hair.. going blonde, you can tell it damaged it pretty bad. You can see a lot of breakage cause of the tiny hairs sticking out everywhere. Beautiful result but going blonde always damages your hair.

Mabell Orobio: which glue did you apply in the tips of the extension?

Shelby Phillips: Love it !! How do you book with your timing? And charging. Any videos on that?

Eli4shawt: Do the knots ever come out of the sides? I just feel like I would be nervous that they would unravel, like do you just double knot it or am I missing something?

Mike Love: Wow I want to take this class please & thank you

Lady Tino: This result was exquisite

Kate Fangman: So are you just sewing the hair onto the beads? I feel like usually there is string connected and that’s how you see it on! I’m liking this way, so nice!

Smile Jesus Loves you: So how many bags did you use? I’m about to purchase hair and I love how all of the girls working there and you always have thick thick hair all the way to the end

Chelsey Stanford: When you order on your website is one bag of weft enough for full head or do you need 3? Hair is medium length but fine?!?

Kendall Cabrera: This video is great! What is the name of the hair glue that you mentioned from Walmart?

K and J: I wish I could pull off the red like your beautiful sister, she looks great whatever color

Benjamin Mark: the beginning was so professional!

Sara Sclafani: Do you apply your toner over the olaplex #2? Or do you shampoo again prior to toning?

houseofhairuk London: Would be great if you shipped to UK I tried to order your bond remover and tape board/template may and couldn’t get them

Mara Miller: How many packs of machine wefts would you need for an installation? Would. One bag of machine wefts do for a normal installation ?

Karamela Beauties: How long are the hand tied wefts the half and the full hand tied ?

susan060194: Hi. I have a question. Is there a move up Method to get a couple weeks of extended wear? If so do you have a video On it and I’m just not seeing it ?

Sara Sclafani: Also when is your next certification class in either Utah, Cali, basically anywhere west coast? I’ll travel for you!

Katelyn Steele: How many bags did you use? Tapes and wefts? How many bags would you recommend if you were doing a client who’s hair is just to the top of the collar bone, she has fine hair but wants to try the beaded wefts and keep tape ins in the front as well.

Abigail Sol López: Hello !!!!!!! Do a video with fusion hair extensions ♡♡ please

Lpg 8: Wow that's a lot of hair, I can't imagine walking around with all that. Not to mention, the condition of the scalp and the tension on the hair.

lizette blokdijk: Hi, can u make a video how u create different blonde color highlights on a dark brown? I am so curious how u doing that. Now I am spending a lot of time of highlighting first in foils just bleaching, wash it and dry. And starting to get all the bleached highlight and start put the different blonde tones again on foils. That's how I learned it maybe u have a better method

Rodriguesr: PERFECT ❤️

Sandra Annarino: What brand are those foils ?

Tessa P: Can you help me understand why you wouldn't just use machine weft instead of laying 3-6 hand-tied? I get if you want to add different colors but why use that method if the color is the same.

Kywest: Love your intro

Miranda Peterson: Does it damage hair

Hannah Rees: So you did two wefts of hair and how many tape in packs?

X0x0: I know some people who have gotten invisible beaded rows? Whatever that is but their hair ends up looking so fake, why is that? I love your channel!

Benjamin Mark: the beginning was so professional!

CHRISTIAN ANNELIESE: HI WHAT COLOR DID YOU USE ON HER???
