3 Different Ways To Rock A Fishtail Braid Ft. Foxy Locks Extensions| Ashley Bloomfield

Hello, my love and welcome back to my youtube channel so for two days, video, I'm going to be showing you guys three different ways to rock a fishtail braid, and I think these hairstyles are just awesome and super simple and really easy to achieve. They are perfect for the back-to-school season and the upcoming fall season and, if you're like me and have just recently colored your hair, these are awesome, heatless hairstyles, to kind of give your hair a break. I know a lot of you guys have been asking me questions and whether or not my curls have survived this whole process, my curls did survive. I will be filming a hair tutorial or back-to-school tutorial with my hair curled or filled my hair girl with my curls. In the future, right now, I'm just trying to give my hair a break from any kind of heat, styling or any kind of styling whatsoever. So usually, when I am wearing my hair extensions, my hair extensions will be curled and my hair or my natural hair will be left straight, just how it has been since my hair Salle's has straightened it. So don't you worry, my curls are alive they're in there holding on for dear life, but they are there and I'm so excited to show you guys what my hair looks like when it's curly and just in its big natural fro. So for today's video I'm going to be showing you three different ways to rock a fishtail braid featuring my foxy locks extensions. I did have to get a new set of hair extensions to match my hair color a little bit better. So I got the lot a blonde, I believe in the 230 24 inch set. So if you guys would like to see my three different ways of rocking a fishtail braid, then just keep watching okay. So here is a quick before and after my hair, with hair extensions. If you guys would like to see how I clip in my hair extensions, I will link that video down below in the description box for you. So to start this hairstyle off, I'm going to split my hair into two sections and then I'm going to take one side of my hair and split that side into two separate sections and start doing a fishtail braid so to create a fishtail braid. What you're going to do with those two sections is you're going to grab a small piece of hair from the outside section and you're going to cross that over and add it to the other side so again grab a small section of hair cross that over one Side and add it to the other side and grab another section of hair at the very outside and cross that over to the other side and you're just going to continue these steps all the way down the hair shaft, the hair shaft. That'S such a weird word: Ashley you're, going to continue these steps all the way down to the end of your hair, once you're done, you're going to go back in and start to, fluff up the braid just to add a little bit more volume to it. So here I am just fanning out my braids now I literally just receive these hair extensions in the mail, so they haven't been cut or layered or anything to blend with my hair, which is perfect for braids, because I don't have to worry about any of the Layered pieces sticking out and I'm just going to repeat the exact same steps on the other side, to create two fishtail braids. Now, if you're allowed to wear hats to school, you can totally just rock this look like this and throw a hat on, but I was never allowed to wear hats in school. So for this hairstyle I decided to create my own little braided crown and wrap my fishtail braids around my head. So I took the fishtail braids from my right side crossed it over behind the back and around the left side of my head and then I'm going to cross the left side of the braid over and around to the right side of my head. And this will just help cover up any of the extensions in the back of your head to make sure nothing is showing or peeking through so for the second one I decided to create a fishtail braid bun so for the bun I'm going to take my two Clip weft mi3 clip weft and I'm going to clip those in upside down in the direction. I would like my ponytail to go up in and then I take one of my two clip weft and I clip it in the very top of my head back towards where I would like my ponytail to sit, and this is just going to help your extensions. Like that towards your head to ensure that they don't stick out so here, I'm putting my hair up into a ponytail and I'm just pulling out a few pieces around my bangs and then I'm going to secure that section of hair with an elastic. Now you can totally rock your hair like this, if you'd like to, but I decided to move on with a fishtail braid bun. It gives us videos all about fish, jump raids. So again, I'm going to continue the exact same steps that I'd shown previously grabbing. One section of hair crossing it over and under to the other side, all the way down the hair, and then I'm going to secure that with an elastic one secured with an elastic I'm going to wrap that tightly around my ponytail with a base of my ponytail And any pieces are layered hairs that are sticking out, I'm just going to pin that down with a hair pin, and that is it very quick, very simple and for the last fishtail braid. This is for my nombre ders. This is the easiest way to achieve a fishtail braid. So what you're going to do is you're going to secure a small section of hair at the top of your head with an elastic and then you're going to twist that hair through a loop and then kind of pull on pieces around your head. I know this part is cut off and I'm really sorry guys. I didn't even notice when I was filming. It obviously he's not facing the camera. So here's a better view of what I'm doing is. I'M grabbing a section of hair from one side of my head. All the way around and I'm going to brush that out, so it's all nice and smooth and then I'm going to secure it with an elastic band once secured with an elastic band, I'm going to create a little loop just above the elastic and I'm going to Flip in my hair upside down and through that two loop and then I'm going to grab pieces of hair around my head and I'm just going to pull that out just to kind of fluff up a little twist to make it look more like a fishtail braid And again, I'm going to do follow these steps all the way down the back of my head, so securing with an elastic band, flipping it through and pulling on the pieces of hair, and then you guys can see it kind of creates this full fishtail, braid effect And this is the easiest way to achieve a fishtail braid. If you are like me and your arms get tired and you just don't feel like braiding your hair, but you want it kind of up and out of the way. This is the easiest way to achieve that look now. You can go totally stop here again and leave it as a ponytail, but I decided to go all the way down to create a full fishtail braid effect and there you have it, and that is it guys. Those are my three different ways of rocking a fishtail braid. Let me know down in the comments below which one was your favorite.
