Braided Wrap-Around Ponytail

This hair tutorial is great for everyday- school or work and will take you around 5 minutes to create.
In this tutorial I have used:
- Luxy Hair extensions - Chocolate Brown #4- 160 g set ( minus 3 clip wefts that goes at the very bottom)
- Hair elastic
- Teasing Brush ( Denman D3)
- Round Paddle Brush
- Bobby Pins

Hi, my beautiful friends. How are you all doing? It'S me me here today and today's tutorial is going to be on a very easy ponytail with wraparound braids, for this tutorial. You'Re gon na need just a few little things like a hair brush. You'Re gon na need some bobby pins. You'Re gon na need one of these little elastics that you can't really see you can get them at any dollar store or you know any truck Mart. You'Re gon na need a hair tie and we're gon na need a teasing brush. I'M using 1093 teasing brush work with either straight or wave your curly hair for this look, but I think it's probably gon na look nicer with wavy or curly hair just because it adds more of a romantic touch to this look. So the first thing we're gon na do is brush the hair. I am wearing my hair wavy and if you, if you want to see the tutorial on how I get this kind of waist, just watch the everyday waist tutorial on this Lexi hair channel. So I am not wearing the full set. I am missing the 3 clip weft just because when I pull my hair up in a ponytail, I do not want any Wes to be showing, so I decided to skip on that one. I know some girls what they do is they they, when they click the bottom left. They turn it around and clip it outwards, but I just decided to skip that part because even without the weft I feel like, I still have a lot of hair to work with. So I'm with you, but the first thing you're gon na do is just brush the hair thoroughly so brush it through and then what we want to do is just create a little bit of volume here on top and I'm just gon na grab sections at the Crown and tease them up a little bit, so you just take your brush, take your teasing brush and just go up and down. So that's really all you're doing is just going up and down and when you let go, you will see that you have this. You know bumpo volume and then you want to grab a few other sections around the crown area and do the exact same thing just up and down just a little bit and same thing here and then once you've done teasing, you just want to slowly brush everything Out - and you will have instant volume here at the crown, so the next step is just grab your hair elastic. I'M gon na turn around, so you guys can see what I'm doing bring all the hair together and you just want to make a ponytail. That'S sort of not too low and not too high, it's kind of in the middle, and you just want to brush through the hair. I mean it can be a little messy because you're already wearing your hair. Wait, I mean if it's wavy, it looks nice and when it's a little messy because it looks more natural. But if you hair straight, you probably want to make it a little more neat, so just secure it in an elastic and then just gon na go like this check it in the mirror. Once you've made a ponytail you're gon na have something like this. A little messy but cute, and then you just want to grab one section at the bottom here and you want to make a regular braid very easy and simple, just a regular braid. So you probably want to grab a longer section. You know the one that goes. One all the way down and then just make a regular braid. You know the three strand braid and you just want to make it tight, try not to make it too loose and braid it all the way down. So once you're done braiding, you just want to secure that with your little elastic and then the last step is just grab. This braid bring it over and you just want to wrap the base of your ponytail with the braid and then the last thing is just secure. The ends of the braid with a bobby pin and you might want to use a couple just to make sure it's safe there, so just put a bobby pin or two in the back once you're done, wrapping the braid around the ponytail. This is what it's gon na look like I'm gon na turn around, so you guys can see it from all the angles I had to our braid that section, because the really important thing, even though I said that you have to make it tight mine, wasn't tight Enough so I had to redo the braid so make sure when you're braiding it to start at the very base of the of the ponytail. In that section and braid, it really really tight all the way to the bottom, and then you know when you wrap it around you wan na wrap it around really tight as well, and that's why it's gon na look more. You know you'd be able to see the braided section very clearly as opposed to my previous ones, which which was tight, but just not tight enough. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial.
