My Relaxed Hair Routine + How I Install My Clip Ins ** Highly Requested

Hi guys welcome back to my channel or welcome if you're new, my name is jerica, and today you guys i'm doing a highly requested, a video that has been on my channel and it's all about my hair having some clip-ins you guys will see in later on. In the video um, if you guys been following me or if you're new here, i cut my hair like below my ear last march, and it's coming up a year anniversary of me chopping off my relaxed hair, my hair is relaxed, so i just decided to do My whole routine, with you guys, showing you all my products that i use and everything about my hair. I hope that you guys enjoy this video if you want more like content like this, like how i prepare my relaxed hair for protective styles or like wash days or anything like that, let me know, and i can try to get that video for you. I really hope you guys enjoy this video, like i just put myself together a little bit baby like this hair is bomb. So, yes, if you guys want to know where my extensions are from and everything that i did for my hair, just make sure that you continue to watch okay guys, so we are going to get started with my hair, i'm not a hairstylist okay! I just do what i do and i do it well, so i will show you guys the relaxer that i usually use, which is the silk elements one. This is the relaxer that i typically use. I am out almost out of it. I just have like a little bit left um and at the time when i was buying a new relaxer, they were out so i ended up getting. I ended up getting this one. My hair, just freshly just came out of braids old up and i was wearing my hair in a bun for a couple days, because i knew how to do my hair after my perm go in obviously with a neutralizing shampoo, and this is the one that i Use after my neutralizing shampoo, i'm gon na go in with some tea tree oil shampoo, and this is gon na help like soothing my scalp, purify it as well and just make it feel so good after i love using the tea tree after i do a relaxer Because i just feel like it just does my hair just so amazing and then after that we will come back and do a deep conditioning treatment and then we're going to put a color rinse on our hair. So, oh, i do wear gloves. So, just let you know i do have some gloves. I have my towel here. My hair is like different lengths because i have oh that was finally going out. I'M actually gon na grab a chair to do my relaxer and sit in the bathroom and just relax and just relax and we're going to put on some church we're going to watch michael talk. Let'S put this relaxer in and then i'll come back when it's time to color, deep condition and style. So i'm back, and i just want to show that all i did was just touched up my roots when you're doing your perm, especially if you're doing it yourself. Um, you always want to start off on opposite sides, so today i started off on this side and worked my way around the next time. I do my relaxer. I am going to start on this side and then work my way back. You just want to do it all too. You just want to alternate the sides um of your hair, so nothing's getting over processed and under processed. I usually don't let the perm sit on too long, just because i don't have time for that. I just you want to just get a scrape um but yeah i'm about to rinse this out because, as you guys can see, baby's so big again, y'all, i'm gon na be using the neutralizing shampoo and my tea tree and i'll be back just washed out everything. So this is what my hair looks like freshly perm um major growth, major growth in a year while i like detangle and then i'm about to you know, do my deep conditioner and stuff. So i cut my hair last year because i wanted to for one. I just wanted to test it out. I just wanted to see if you know, because people are like - oh my god, my next hair, i'm crazy um. So i just want to test it out to see if you can grow long, healthy, relaxed, hair, no breakage. No, nothing and a year's worth of growth. I will insert if you're still watching out and start another picture right here, so i just wanted to cut my hair off and then i was like you know what we're gon na cut off dead weight. You know. So i cut my hair and my hair has flourished and i was like that's gon na be, like you know, symbolic, to cutting off dead weight like in my life. You know so the same thing that i did with my hair. I did with people in my life and you know what it's flourishing baby flourish, hair flourishing, yeah, hair flourishing. My life is flourishing, don't be scared of the scissors y'all like it's just hair. It is just hair. I promise you. I trim my ends myself. No, i will not be doing a video on how i turn my hair um, because i'm not a professional, and i don't need people telling me how to do my own hair, an amateur like me we're going to do our own hair. Maybe we can start to do more of these type of videos. Just let me know if y'all like this one, but yes y'all, like my hair, is growing. This is what it looks like on this side. I'M not sure what it looks like in the back because, like i said when i was doing my hair or when i was um trimming, my ends myself uneven. But this is my hair. You guys so i'm gon na press for tom. So really, i'm not gon na be able to do my color and show you guys the hair color that i use like after i relax my hair. This is the only hair color that i use in my hair um, which is this one right here, come on. G7X yo. That is why i'm using caramel this is the hair color that i use on my hair. I either use this one or the one in the gray, and this is a semi-permanent hair color and you can use this right after you've done relaxed your hair. Literally just pigment going into your hair, it is not going to be damaging or drying or anything like that, and this is safe for immediate. After relaxing, if you do want to put a little rinse in your hair, this is really nice. But again, since i'm pressed on tom, i'm not going to be able to do this today, but i just want to show y'all just in case if you wanted to put a little rinse on your hair, i'm going to do a double conditioner to relax your hair. You definitely want to do you like a really good, deep conditioner, and today i'm going to be using the aphro g heritage. Two minute reconstructors, one of my favorites, the keratin is going to help soften my hair and some strength. It'S going to be amazing and then my favorite mask this. Is the earth supply protein mask and i'm going to be using just a little bit of keratin and protein, so this is a keratin treatment. This is a mask that has protein in it. So it's not going to be enough protein! That'S going to make my hair straw like and stringy, and i've done both of these together before i don't use both of these all the time, not every time i relax my hair. I do both of these. I only use this whenever i just feel like. I just need to knead and eat it, and today i just feel like i didn't even need it. I'M gon na put the carrots on first and then we're gon na go in with the air supplies. So this is just how i just do my conditioners: okay, my conditioners, my deep conditioners, all the products that you guys are going to see in today's video. You can find it at walmart target and at sally's now that we have the keratin in there and we're not going to leave it on long. Let this grow so much. I'M so proud of my haircut so proud of my hairdresser, hey guys! So now we're going to use my favorite mask of all time. This is my favorite mask. My hair loves this mask and again this is the earth supplied mask and it's so thick. I don't know why i tried to show y'all, because it's never wondering it's like a super thick mask like it's thick, thick, thick, okay, so it's really not going anywhere, and then i just put this onto my hair the same way and these products smell amazing y'all, Like my hair's gon na smell, like this, probably for like at least four days, i'm in the middle of watching church as well y'all doing this, i can't believe my hair has girl so much in like almost a year like next month. It is so december december. It is not december february, so next month will be a full year when i cut my hair, so i'm super duper excited. I don't remember the day, but i guess i can look at it in my phone i was gon na. I wish i did have time to color my hair, but i don't i'm just gon na wrap it up in a little clip for right now and then we're gon na. Let this set for a little bit or rinse it out and then come back and then we're gon na get to the fun part styling, showing guys all my other products and then maybe we can put the clippings in. So i'm gon na wait about maybe about five minutes. Five. Ten minutes, i don't know just enough time to like clean up my bathroom a little bit: okay, y'all, so i've been ranged out the deep conditioner i'm gon na. Let it chill dry for just a little bit before i hit it with the blow dryer. Everybody is hitting me up today what i'm popular girl, anyways um, so i'm going to scratch it just let it air dry. Just you know, for a little bit my hair, my hair looks so soft, so my hair is probably about three percent dry um, so i just want to show y'all a couple of things that i'm going to be um putting onto my hair before i blow dry. It first thing is going to be in this apogee keratin green tea reconstructor, which is my favorite. If you relax your hair color, your hair, anything you see, i use it like this right here is amazing. It'S going to help strengthen your hair, restore your hair. Add some shine and i mainly focus it on the ends and i'll throw out my hair. I love it and it just does really well for my hair - and this is the first thing that i spray onto my hair. Sometimes i can spray a lot, but it's whatever um we are going to do some heat protectant. The heat protectant that i'm going to be using is the silk elements. This one right here is my favorite. I love this one as well focus it on all over. It gives her a nice shine as well. Lastly, before i start to detangle my hair and blow dryer we're going to add some oil into my scalp, this is gabrielle unions. Oil right here, which is so amazing, probably one of my favorites - it actually is my favorite. I love that it's a dropper, so you can drop oil into your hair drop it in there. Literally. All you do is just drop it in there. It'S amazing! I love it. Oh yo we're going to detangle my hair and if you want to see my comb after i just comb my hair, this is the comb of the hair that i have so no breakage got ta be able to see it, but y'all can kind of see it. That'S the hair that just came out. I blow dry, my hair, so we can get this show on the road and i always love to let it towel dry first um. So that way, i'm not blow-drying my hair. You know for a long time, cutting down on the heat hair is always dry, and then i have my clip-ins clip-ins are from irresistible me the highest gram in the royal that they do offer, and these are 24 inches. This is big like thick thick, okay. These are super thick and i've had these for almost a year now i've been ordering from them for so long, and this is my first time trying the royal set that they do offer, which is like the thickest um clips that you can get and yeah. When i first got them, they did shed a lot just because i feel like they were like, obviously so, thick and um. You know some of the hair is going to fall off anyways, but i haven't had any issues with tingling. They match my hair perfectly um and it's pressed out and so yeah. These are my clippings i'm going to put in and they are in the color um in general. Let'S start with the bottom, so how i put in my clip ins, i'm not going to show you guys the whole process, because my battery's life is a little wonky. Let me section off behind my ear as well. So now we have just the bottom half to work with. I remember when i first bought these clippings y'all, like my hair, was so short that i had to like, pin it in the back and make like a little ponytail, so my little scraggly hairs wouldn't show but baby. I ain't going to do that because my hair go over my shoulder, i'm going to show you as much as i can and then i'll just have to show you guys like the ending product whenever i'm done and i'm like ready. But i have my chi flat iron, you know if it don't broke. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, but like she's, really leg the ceramic place, which is not doing my hair, what it needs to do, but i'm just going to flat iron and it doesn't need to be perfect just because, oh my god, my hair hosting. I forgot how hot my hair can get um. My hair is not burning um, it's just you know. We have all the products in our hair. We have the heat protectant on, but um my hair can hold heat like i remember, um, going to the salon and they used to use them old, ass, marcel flat, irons. You know the ones you guys sticking with in the little cast iron, like those are type of irons, that, like can get my hair straight. You know these are a. This is a ceramic plate. This is ceramic plate flat iron and they don't really do well with um african-american, hair yeah. It'S still black history. I'Ve been learning a lot this um year for black history. You know, i feel, like i knew the basics. You know what i'm saying but like i'm like real, like you know like in my blackness, you know, and some people just aren't, but i am i've just been learning so much so i found a new or well she's, not new um. She is long gone rrp. Um, but i figured i just, did my research on billie holiday and i freaking love her like. I just love like what she was about, and i just love like her voice and her music and, like i just feel like. I appreciated like her struggles because i feel like we were similar. You know like we didn't like we didn't grow up in the same era obviously relates to billy holiday, and i really really liked her, and i just like that. You know what i'm saying she still do, whatever she wants to do, whether you know i'm saying they didn't want her to do it anyways like that, because some people, when they when they have a calling and they want a second guess it or you know, feel Like i'm gon na step on some people's tattoos or whatever, like man, all of that say what you guys say stuff on people's toes if they didn't come to what they're uncomfortable um but yeah, i really like billy holiday, and i cannot remember the other lady names That i did research on it came out with well, she wasn't the first but like she was like the one who did the pad and stuff in an honorary of homegirl coming in like a couple days. You know i'm just like. I just have more appreciation for the past more appreciation for the pad. How high is this? I could probably do another. How much i have. I probably should do like another little layer, but i feel like no, i'm gon na go ahead and clip it. We have the first little clip and this hair is thick y'all like it's thick, so brush it um clip it literally. Clippings are so easy. I'Ve been like, i said, i've been using this brand for a couple years now and i just feel like they're the best for eclipians um and i recently got on their website y'all um, because i'm like, i think i want to get me another set. They have clippings for like curly hair now, like they just made me so happy and now the first clip is on um and i'm just gon na repeat this whole process throughout my whole entire head, oh yeah, so they have clip-ins for um curly hair now, which Is so cool um because you know not? Everybody wants to always straighten their hair for some clip-ins, so they have clippings for curly hair and i was just browsing. Their website, like i said, and they usually always have a good sale going on, so i usually buy my clippings when they have a sale but yeah so black history month. How is black history month? Treating y'all? Don'T let them people. You know what i'm saying like central ground: send your ground and be unemployed unapologetically. You and you know, do your thing and, while out show out do what you came here to do and ever since i've like changed like my whole, like haircare routine, i feel like what the i feel like this has been like the healthiest. My hair has ever been like, like i said, my hair has been relaxed before, but i feel like this is the healthiest that it has ever been. So i appreciate it a little bit but um yeah. So i'm about to just finish my hair because, like i said like my battery, i don't really try to do too much with it because y'all know. Well, if you know these canon batteries, ain't got nothing. No batteries, it's about nothing anyways, but um. I'M just going to finish my hair okay guys, so i just finished putting in all of the clippings, so we're just gon na run the butter like on the ends of the hair - and i still have one clip left here so um each set comes with seven Clips, i do believe um, but i had an extra like thick clip like a thick weft from another set that i had so i added it in um, so where i have my two yeah, so i added it in so i basically have two like super thick. Like wefts in um to make it like super cool and um, you know cute cute cute cute, and this is human hair. So i know that's how i got it or not, but we're just gon na. I do have my little tool here, but this hair is so big that, like i'm going to run it with the flat iron first before i um go with my little comb and chase um, because i'm just going to keep it straight right now, yeah, i'm just Gon na keep it straight. Not this isn't my great girlfriend we're gon na get these ends, i'm looking i'm looking in the mirror, you guys, so that's why i can so when i freshly do relaxer, i don't do edge control, but i will put some more of the flawless oil just um On my part, just so i'm so nice and you know good and moisturize, and then we are going to add in some skinny serum. This is the generic of the paul mitchell, skinny serum. So we're going to use some of this onto my hair just a little bit just to kind of tame, my hair and yeah. So i don't do edge control um when i firstly relax my hair, because i like that natural look um and i started to use edge control. Probably about a weekend after um i relaxed my hair. We'Re gon na put just a little bit more and run this through the ends of my hair, and i'm feeling like myself again y'all, like my hair, is done. My hair is like the style that i usually wear like when i used to when i was younger. I used to wear like long hair all the time and i would always do a middle part, but ever since i like started doing a sidebar like the girls, they get to get it the girls they don't. I finish off my hair, i'm i i'm going to be using the proclaim like um shine spray, but the nozzle on that is trash, so write a little thing out, so i can focus on me, so i just put it in this little spray bottle, but it Is this in here and we're just gon na get a little shine and this one is really like really potent, and i just love like shiny black hair, like what is so amazing and this smells delicious. So yes, my hair is all nice and done and i will see y'all in a little second. Whenever the makeup is done - and i got my outfit on so you can really see the full look come together, so we are all dressed and ready to go. So i already went back and plugged up my flat iron just because, when i went back in the shower today, um we need to just flat iron, some little kinks that we have in my hair. I did my makeup. Obviously they just start a new lit series, so i did do my makeup exactly like this in that video, so we might have to redo that because really it is y'all saw this appeal, so we could probably do it again um, but let me know if you Guys are liking the lit series, and, let me know if you guys are liking this video so far, okay, so um as y'all saw earlier in the video i used some shine spray, which i'm gon na use some more just because i just want more shine in My hair just a little bit - hopefully whoever just tips, was my friend so now that he's ready because then like this is perfect. Hair is done. Makeup done and i like to spread this pretty far just because i don't want it to be like too concentrated on my hair and then the last thing i like to do is just add a little like hair perfume. But this is the forget. The wash dry conditioner, it's a dry conditioner, but i use this as um hair perfume because it just smells amazing. So this is what i like to use, and you know it smells good, especially if you about to be hugging a cute little boy or something spray. A little bit of this in your hair, baby, okay y'all see my move just changed from like this video to like now. Okay, when you look good, you feel good, and i don't for a rush today. I took my time you doing my makeup. Taking my shower and doing my hair here is done pretty much. I was just over here doing stuff with the ears done. I hope you guys like it. Yes yeah. I know there's like a clip back here, that's like kind of showing showing kind of showing not showing a little bit a little bit, but whatever we'll fix it.
