How To Dutch Braid

Hey guys welcome back, i just woke up so be nice um. Today, i'm going to be showing you guys how i dutch braid um, i'm going to do a half stitch, braid, so yeah with two little pigtails, but you will see at the end what it looks like um. A lot of you guys have been asking me to show you how to braid. So here it is: let's go all the tools i'll be using today. Are you spray water bottle, just in case um? If it's braiding it's a little hard, i find that spraying it with water helps sometimes i'm going to be using my crayola defining curl cream um for later, because obviously i slept with my hair in a ponytail, so my curls did fall out a little bit and That'S okay, um, my handy dandy, toothbrush that needs to be cleaned um for my edges and then my oh and then my hair parter and then. Lastly, i have um my hair ties. I like to do two, because obviously this is too thin for my hair. It'S going to break um, so i like to use two on each side. So first i'm just going to take my hair out. Oh yeah she's cute and i'm just going to go ahead and part it okay, so there it is part it down the middle and i do have to part it all the way to the back and a trick if you have a hard time doing, that is To take a smaller mirror - and i'm going to take this mirror right here and i'm done parting it down the middle i'll. Just take the mirror and double check to make sure it's completely straight start from the line that i already created and continue going down and depending on how thick or thin your hair is you'll have to press harder when you're going down the part to make sure You'Re grabbing the pieces of hair and separating it, my hair is pretty thin and fine, so it's a little easier, there's all the way parted down the middle. This is what i look like: yeah gucci, okay, now i'm just going to take my hair tie and type. The side that i'm not doing first just so i don't get any hair caught on the other side um. They say to start with a side that, like you, have the hardest time with, which would be my right side for me um but uh. I like to start with my dominant side since i do have like curls in my hair. It might get tangled as i'm trying to braid it, so i am going to spray it down a little bit and brush it out. I'M going to use my handy dandy, crayon naturals brush, it gently start brushing it out. If you know how to braid your hair down here off of your head, then it's going to be the same. Exact set same exact steps that you use on your head. The only thing is, is you'll, be adding hair and going down as you go you're just going to part it into three different sections and the middle one is always going to overlap the right side. First, so you're going to go this way right section goes over the left and then you just continue the steps from the beginning all the way down. Just like that. So once you have this step down, you just carry those steps to the top of your head. Getting up close and personal here, you are going to start at the top. Obviously, with your three different sections and like i said before, your middle section is going to go over that right, section first and then carrying on with putting the middle section over the left section, and i do like to braid that at least once or twice by Itself before i start adding hair in and here's where i'm going to start adding hair and you just part it a little bit with your fingers and whatever piece of hair is in your hand at that time is what you're going to add it to and then Continue braiding and now i'm going to add hair from underneath to the same section that is, in my hand or whatever section is in my hand and just continue those steps adding hair from the top putting it in the section that is, in my hand, continue braiding And then i'm going to add sections from underneath into the section, that's in my hand and just make sure that every time you grab a piece of hair to pull it tight so like here i grabbed a section of hair and then i'm going to pull it. Just a little bit tighter to keep the braid flawless and obviously make sure it's not loose as i'm going down, so it can stay in he place by creating an imaginary picture. Usually it's something that moves calico! Hmm! Why? By creating an imaginary picture, usually it's something that moves okay and then i'm just going to stop right about there. Take my two hair ties and just go then why i'm not gon na lie? This is probably the best braid that i've ever done and now i'm going to move on to the other side. So that is that for the breeding aspect of my hair, okay. So now i'm just gon na work on getting my curls together, water, it's just water water and take my brush brush it out, get all the water evenly through my hair, i'm going to go in with my crayola curl cream by creating an imaginary picture. Usually it's something that moves: okay, i'm going to jump off camera to go, do my edges and then i'm going to come back and show you guys the final product guys.
