The Wedding Is In Two Weeks! Dress Alterations, Curly Hair Wedding Hairstyles

I legit have 15 minutes before I need to leave my house, and I look like this. I literally just have to shower um it's another rainy day here in Northern Virginia, Which it's been raining for like two weeks now. I think it's like the effects of hurricane Ian. I think um kind of hitting us over here I mean it's literally just light rain. I have not seen sunshine in like seven days um. I feel a little chaotic right now and I had the best wash day yesterday. Look at this volume look at my curls. They look so good and I use new products, so I was really surprised with how everything came out. I obviously need to refresh a little bit: I'm gon na do my five minute makeup, routine first and then I'm gon na do my hair. I literally don't even know why I'm rushing like this when I have been up since six o'clock this morning. I actually already edited a full YouTube video, so I've been productive, but I just waited too long to get ready for school right now. But honestly, this is a realistic morning in my life, like I wait to the last minute to do everything it's currently 8 58 and I need to leave my house at 9 15. So, let's see if we can make this work, I'm doing the silk brows again. I really love the way that this looks so I just got to make sure not to use too much because so that I don't get any flicks. I haven't gotten any flakes since I've been using this, but somebody did leave a comment and letting me know that their eyebrows started flaking up and that's the last thing I want to happen when I first used this the other day. That'S what I was expecting. I kept checking my face throughout the day. Thinking like I was gon na have flakes on my eyebrows, just because I've never used something like this, so it seems like I'm using a lot of product on my brows. Don'T you feel like sometimes the more that you rush at doing something the more time it takes you to do it? You know so I'm trying to woosa right now and thankfully I don't have to worry about breakfast, because my lovely boyfriend made me some before he left this morning. So I already ate and then I'm really only like pulling myself together. Basically, because I'm gon na be running some errands after class, so I want to look somewhat presentable foreign mascara yesterday and it obviously didn't come off all the way. So to refresh my hair a little bit, I'm going to use this avocado moisturizing hair milk from Miel. I'Ve never used this before so I'm gon na test it out today, I'm just gon na damp in my hair just a little bit. Also, if you guys haven't noticed my hair color looks a little bit different, because I did use a what is it called like a depositing mask a color deposit mask on my hair. The other day I used the Wella um I'll, show you guys in a second, but it's the Wella Color deposit mask or whatever. It'S like a temporary thing. I wanted to kind of get my hair back to one solid color, because I have a wedding coming up in two weeks and I kind of wanted my highlights to be gone. But I didn't want to permanently dye my hair because I still want to dye my hair one whole color. I think I mentioned to you guys a few videos ago. I had plans to dye my hair, so I didn't want to like DIY dye it and then try to go to try to go to a salon, and then I can't really get what I was going for. So I decided to go for this little temporary solution and I do like it. It actually doesn't look too bad and I like the way that it covered up my lighter highlights. It is a little bit more more like reddish tone than I thought. This is the one that I used, the Wella Color fresh Chocolate Touch. I thought it would be a little bit darker and like deeper, but it actually has more of a red tone to it. So I like it, though, because it still gives me like a little bit of a highlight effect, but not so in your face. Okay, I think my hair looks pretty good. It'S probably gon na frizz up anyway because, like I said it is raining outside, but if you guys have not seen my diffusing video definitely check it out. I am about to go see. If I can get my dress altered the dress, I'm going to be wearing for the wedding, my sister's getting married in two weeks, if you guys have been here for a while. You know that I did a proposal. Video um like two years ago in like September, and I was so excited for her and now I mean I'm still so excited for her I'm so I'm, oh, my God. I can't talk, I'm so excited for her and so excited for the wedding in two weeks, but I really do need to get my dress altered before I run out of time. She already told me I should have had that done and I still don't have it done so. I'M gon na go do that today and I'm still debating if I want to keep my hair curly or straighten it for the wedding. So I might come home and practice some like little wedding hairstyles that I could do on my curly hair, but yeah let's go spend the day together. I wanted to show you guys what the dress looked like before I go. Get it alter so here it is, and I have some questions, some just decisions that need to be made that I need your help with, but this is the front of the dress, don't mind if you can see my panty lines hold on. So this is the front of the dress, and this is the back of the dress. I love it so much and I love this color. I definitely need to get this tightened up here. So the bottom of the dress is super long and I was just gon na have her hem it so that it's not extremely long. But I was thinking what, if I kind of hem it so it's above the ankle, something like that or maybe like a high low situation where it's shorter in the front and then longer in the back. But I don't know, and obviously you get a better idea of what it would look like if it was professionally done. You know, I don't know. I'M gon na ask my sister what she thinks before I go. Do it, and I was just gon na wear these little beat up clear heels, but if I get an altered to be above my ankles, I would get a nicer pair of shoes. Obviously, so I don't know what I want to do. Also, if you watched one of my last Vlogs, I showed you guys this little purse that I thrifted and the idea was to wear it with this dress, obviously not like in the wedding ceremony, but I don't know for pictures or wherever I think it'll be cute. Even though it's something Brown, I think it's so cute, so I was just scrolling through Pinterest trying to see like different curly wedding hairstyles, and I feel like what makes a wedding. Hairstyle is really the clips and the hair, ornaments and stuff that you use. It could be like a simple little low bun, but with a pearl or Diamond clip, it's going to be a wedding, low, bun. You know what I mean so a lot of these that I'm finding are kind of just very simple, very basic, honestly and they're, not like hairstyles, that I've never tried before. But there's this one that I've seen. That is like a high curly bun with the bangs. So I don't know if you guys can see that I don't know if those are like clip-in bangs or if that is her own hair from the bun. So I'm gon na try and recreate this with my own hair and see how it comes out. I think this is so pretty the only thing about putting my hair up is. I have a few regrets in life, one of them being the tattoo that I got on my back, which is actually a cover-up for a different tattoo that I have there, which I also didn't want. Obviously I tried to cover it up um. So when I'm like wearing nice dresses or any like kind of formal attire, that's going to show my back. I always try to cover it up, because I just don't like the way that it looks especially in like nicer outfits and you know, dresses and stuff. So I kind of did not want to put my hair up, but I was also thinking that I could maybe get like some sort of shawl to go over my dress, although I don't know how that would look either. So I'm still debating whether I want to keep my hair up or down, because my hair is down it'll cover it perfectly fine yeah don't get tattoos because you're gon na regret them and they're gon na look ugly just make sure. If you get one, it's something you really want you're, not just doing it to do it, but honestly, if I could remove all the tattoos on my body, I would except for the one on my shoulder that I got with my sister yeah. So I don't really think my hairs are long enough for this. I think I'm just gon na put this headband on it's gon na see how this headband looks for today. I never wear these headbands when my hair is Curly. I don't know if I like the way that this looks. I don't know it's just like this part right here. That'S bothering me anyway. I don't think I mentioned it's actually, the next day I went to go, get my dress altered yesterday, but I really couldn't get it altered because it was closed. The lady had a sign on the door saying like she went for lunch and she would be back so I waited like 30 minutes and she never came back. It said she'd be back at one and she never came back at one. I left the parking lot there at 1 30 and I was like okay, obviously somebody's not coming back, so I'm gon na try again today, so they open at 10 and it's currently 9 30.. So I'm gon na go in a little bit. Foreign
