You need to stop avoiding physical activity to preserve your hairstyle. That'S what I told myself in the beginning of 2023, and this is how I've been keeping my hair using not one not two but three hair scrunchies to really lock everything in without stretching and ruining. My scrunchie or over squishing, my hair, now the most important step is to remove the hair ties. While the hair is still wet with sweat. That way, it doesn't dry stretched, but can air dry back to its curly state?

Sarah White Thielmeier: I'm a runner with super fine, low density curly hair, and I love the ribbon-like ponytail holders. Scrunchies slide right out of my hair. ‍♀️ I do a loose high pony with a Ponya Bands bamboo lined sweat band, take it down and my Ponya Band off right away, and my hair recovers well unless it's stupidly humid.

Purely Coincidental: This is a great tip, and it looks great, too! I'm going to have to try it, but I don't know if it'll work for me, since my hair's really long. Currently I make a loose bun right on top of my head and hold it in place with a few hair sticks.
