I'M bringing back the curls like, yes, they get absolutely frizzy, and if you don't maintain your curl pattern, it can look messy more than just stylishly messy, but they are still so fun to have around your face. It is like your own little cocoon. It'S like a hug today, I'm going to be attempting to cut a wolf cut, the very recently famous, but previously very famous in the 70s and 80s I've tried this wolf cut before on a wig. I actually tried it on a wig on a mannequin, so I was technically cheating. I was playing the part of a hair stylist. For the most part, the wolf cut has always been paired kind of Shaggy, but still relatively straight here. I do believe it already exists on curly hair. They just don't call it a wolf cut. Foreign doesn't look the best with one length. Hair pearls are amazing because they can kind of you know they curl up on themselves and they give so much bounce to the person's face. But when you cut it all one length it just all kind of collects at the bottom of the hairline. Meanwhile, when you add layers to it, that is what gives the hair such a beautiful look. So, for the most part, the wolf cut has existed for a very long time on curly hair. They just don't call this a wolf cut. They just call it a cut for curly hair, so this could also be called I'm cutting layers on my curly hair, but I'm going to be referencing a wolf cut methodology when using a specific technique. It'S gon na be it's a cut. I want to cut my hair. I want to cut this hair, so let's do it first thing you need scissors. This is going to be a DIY haircut. I'M doing this fully on myself, which terrifies me, but not as much anymore. Like I cut a pixie cut on myself a few weeks back and that really challenged me that really, let's just say the fact that I did manage to cut it, blew me away so now stuff like this, doesn't really scare me anymore and especially because I'm cutting The layers on curly hair, it's a lot more forgiving, you buy whatever scissors you can afford. Obviously, within the Hair World, scissors can become very, very expensive, but these are 40 scissors from Amazon. I can link them down below they're cute. I caught myself ridiculously many times with them, so here I'm going to show you how to correctly hold your scissors if you're getting a non-uniform, scissor, the longer part of it. That is where your ring finger goes and then these two fingers rest on Top. This Then becomes your thumb finger, you're, moving your thumb and nothing, and then, when you are not cutting, you go into rest position. Hold it like this or hold it like this same thing, we need is a cake, but my capes are all black and I actually want to demonstrate what I'm doing today, I'm going to be wearing a white T-shirt um. As my Cape. I wouldn't really recommend this because it's gon na get into it. I'M gon na put this on off camera for nudity, nudity and indecency, and this is this - is a friendly video. The next things you're going to need a bottle of water, or else come with your hair or maybe wet here's a dilemma that I know that Curly hairy individuals often face, or rather the people cutting their hair. When we learn to cut hair, we often learn it on wet hair. That is because wet hair is the easiest to see the hair lay. That makes a lot of sense if the hair is either lightly wavy or fully straight. But when we cut curls, we have to understand that curls are very, very 3D. They don't exist on a plane, they exist in a space, and so if we were to cut curls while they're, fully wet and they're stretched and they're extended, when they shrink back up, there's a good chance that they're going to look completely different to how we envisioned It but then you also can't really cut it dry, because a you're going to have that issue where the hair is kind of flying everywhere and also, if you then do tend to straighten it a lot or wear it straight. There'S a good chance that the cuts won't be uniform. So if you cut hair to look good when it's curly, it might not look that good went straight today, we're going to be semi-wetting the hair, I'm not going to douse it in water, I'm going to be using a water bottle to spray. As I go, I'm going to try to maintain and retain the natural curl of the hair as much as possible so that I can visualize what it looks like when it's dry. But I still want a bit of that wetness so that I can grab the hair and and cut last thing you're going to need. There are different comps that you can use and and a lot of the times it comes down to the stylists one, a very different length length comes. Typically, you go for a smaller cone if you are cutting very close. This is kind of a universal all-arounds. Good haircut, it actually has different notches on the back with measurements and centimeters. Oh I'm so happy to hear that this is so that if a client says they want two centimeters off, they do have to understand that that is actually a very small amount of food. But anyways, then you can go for super if you want like a really straight look, but today I think I'm gon na go with this one, because it's efficient, perfect, I'm excited. Let'S go brushing out. These curls made me so disappointed, but I am actually surprised at how quickly and well they got brushed out. Let'S begin, this is going to be our beginning section, I'm also going to be Point cutting, which is when you don't cut like this. You cut in points this is so that you don't get a straight line. You get more of a blended line. This is also how you cut yourself, so we're bringing this out completely in front of our faces and we're keeping our fingers completely. 90 degrees foreign mess, but you can kind of see it's already shorter here and longer here: foreign foreign, basically 180 degrees. It is the same kind of length as The Fringe when you bring it forward, but then, when you bring it back all the way, it'll be a much cuter length, so you can see where the guide is right. There guideline haircut, foreign foreign. This is one half completely done foreign. I am happy with this. This haircut took literally 20 minutes to do on myself like if this was done by a professional. Okay, that's a pretty standard time for a haircut, but on myself, um. If you have curly hair - and you want something super Shaggy and super quick to do that, you can do on yourself. This is it. It is probably one of the easiest things that you could do on yourself, because you're cutting everything in front of you, the entire haircut, is basically just getting one guideline and then dragging every other piece of hair to match that guideline. Well, I am covered in hair, so I'm going to clean up and then I'm also going to go ahead and style, the curly hair in something fun so that it's less frizzy. Obviously, now the water is evaporating and it is just truly frizzy. I'M gon na clean myself up style, my hair and I want to show you the finished look. Hopefully it is going to be insane, so I will be right back and the final look. I love wolf Cuts. I love them so so so much. I ended up giving it just some a very, very light texture just to get rid of that bulk of the frizz, but I definitely love the kind of very messy Rogue nature of the haircut. The layers are so incredible and, as you can see the minute you cut layers into hair it immediately like it lifts. Obviously I love it. I love a fringe. I love a good Fringe. I want to link all of the products down below, including the wig, including the scissors. If you want to use them, however, you know go at it at your own pace. The one thing that I'm going to make clear once again be careful when Point cutting cut blunt cut like this cut along your hand and then take it away further up and cut into it at a later stage. It is going to be 10 times easier and you remove that risk altogether, but if you want to go for it, and you want a really quick really efficient haircut, do is how I did it. I hope you enjoyed this video. I hope you'll give it a go and I will see you in my next video

Lilie Horvath: I don't care about your real hair or your wigs. Your job is amazing. That's all we need. I love to see what you can do with any kind of hair. I don't understand the people who don't watch your videos because you shaved your hair. I shaved it too a few weeks ago. Everyone thought I had a disease or I'm crazy. I just want my real hair back. So I don't know. I still like the videos...

Nicole: A few months ago I went to get a wolf cut and I have 2c-3a curl type and it was the BEST hair cut I had in my entire life. All girls with curly hair should try it because it looks stunning and with the curls it's not very hard to style it. Tip: if you try this (and only if you want to), you can go a little bit higher than shoulder length and it's going to look freaking amazing

Julia Kirsty: Ugh, I am actually thinking about growing out my pixie and wasn't sure about which style to try. My hair is not curly, just wavy but this video just tempts me to try a wolf cut myself... might be the perfect cut to bring out my natural texture. Thank you Stella, you're truly inspiring <3

Gwenny_Black: I think this is my sign to finally get the wolf cut/ a shag. After shaving it over a year ago I do have grown out hair and developed a lot of curls... THIS looks so gooood. Gonna send that my hairdresser baby.

Samara LeFavour: Yes! We need more curly hair content!!

Aerdna: Omg noooo. I just found your channel and I’ve managed to keep my hair 2 years doing nothing so it’s long and completely natural and healthy. Yup...that’s not gonna last for long now hahahah. Lovely content! ❤ P.S Fav hair color that I had - deep forest green

Mia Maria: I don’t care what anybody says. Wigs are here to stay and Stella you rock every hairstyle Your creativity is unmatched ☺️

E_: The end result looks so good!❤

It's Andie: I have very similar hair to that one. I'd try it right now if I didn't have a pixie Love your results

Stephany Blake: Forget the hair, i can never get over how beautiful you are!!!!❤

Chrysantha Piano: Alternative title: How to Do the "Unicorn Haircut" Responsibly and Properly This blew my MIND, it's essentially what the "unicorn method" tries to achieve (which is the method I've used for YEARS), but in a way that will leave much cleaner and easier results. Thank you so much for this breakdown!!!!!

Alli Baker: The wig is beautiful, and as someone with curly hair I appreciate curly content. However, the stakes of watching a wig being cut are too low for me lol! I like the drama of seeing someone cut or dye their real hair. Real hair, real stakes. That’s just me craving chaos lol.

알레사 Alessá: It looks so naturel on Stella it's giving holiday Stella

Salicylic Acid Milk Rinse: Basically cutting in vertical sections will give you layers, if anyone was confused by why she did what she did. Horizontal sections would of made it look more blunt and heavy

Marisa Sweeney: My man bought those scissors for me for Christmas!! So cool to see you using the same ones

OrificeSorceress: Gurl, you don’t need to put “wig” in the title to these vids. We know. You could maybe say it in the intros but we are all here for YOU

imtrusfated ami: I have long wolf cut hair without bangs and its amaaazing on curly hair Ill recommend anyone :)

Darleen: This is so flattering on you ❤️

Rooboatdeer 22yu: I'm suspicious that people think curly hair is stylishly "messy " because straight hair is seen as oddly neater.

Dani Nee: My god this is stunning!

Jasperella Wolfsbane 🧹🌜: Wow color and cut looks amazing ✨

bebe rivera: I swear u could make the craziest hair looks so beautiful! I could NEVER Tysmfs Stella! You ate VERY appreciated

AdriC: I have curly hair Type 3 and I cut/ get my hair cut completely dry. We go curl by curl and shape that way. I think that's best and what has always worked for my curl type.

Lisa Smith: Mine is very curly, like spirals and it didn't look like this, it was too short I hated it sadly

Jedi: That hairstyle blew me away. It certainly suit you

Екатерина Петренко: This hair cut on the curls is fire!❤️‍❤️‍

Richard Layton: Might have to remember this technique when my hair is long enough this summer…

lsssa: That wig is EVERYTHINGGGG!!

Betania Arellano Cano: It's giving me La Mona Jiménez vibes, loved it

erin: Cute but I’m a fan of long hair so the before was pretty too

Fee Parker: This is what my hair looks like naturally, except it's a lighter brown

Vee Vee: Stella!!! Can you please try the now very popular butterfly cut ?!!!❤

Anna Kutacheva: Wolfcut looks good only if you have healthy hair. i had this hairstyle a few years ago and i hated it because split ends transforming head in a haystack( you have to cut this wolfcut again and again or cut just all your hair to grow it back(

nina black: I love curls on you...such a cute cut

Mikayla Pride: I think about coloring my client split dye. You post a video on how bad it is. I give myself a wolf cut ( I have curly hairs and girl I STRUGGLED) here you are with a curly wolf cut.

Samantha Stewart: Please, please do the pigtail cut on curly!

Raven Vargas: Your gorgeous that beautiful haircut really suits you you'd make an amazing stylist

costin horia: Hey Stella, since you got some long hair on top, why don't you install some tape in's to make the growth journey easier on you?

Kassy K: Curly hair is always the best!!!
