1920'S Mary Pickford Curls (Without A Curling Iron!)

Today's video shows you how to create 1920's "Mary Pickford" style curls and waves using no heat! This look is super simple and is a great 1920's option for long hair. It was a very popular look for girls in the late 1910's and early 1920's, most famously worn by Mary Pickford, but also donned by many other Hollywood starlets. This set mimics the looks of curls + a light marcel wave, but without the damaging heat of a curling iron. I love being able to set my hair the night before and thus spend only a few minutes styling it the next morning. Plus there are a multitude of ways to style this set, such as using ribbons/bows or using them as a base for an updo (I have a simple updo using these curls in an upcoming video so stay tuned!).

Julia's Hair Journey: I liked your hair tutorial. Very nice 1920s inspired style.

TattingGirl: Amazing & exhilarating video !! Love !!

Brandon Fernandez: Beautiful ringlets!

Megan White: Gorgeous!

Emily B: tbh im not sure who mary pickford is (next stop google...) but iv got a 20s xmas party coming up and your video is great inspiration! my hair is super thick, long and curly going down to my bum & all other 20s styles just werent going to work on my crazy hair, this starlet seems like she had similar hair - so thank you, im loving your videos!❤

olivina624: It's a nice tutorial and you got a good result, but oof I couldn't bear to watch you yanking those curlers out of your hair like that!! If you unwind them instead 1) you'll loosen the curl a tiny bit and get the length you wanted, 2) you won't have to worry about reshaping the ends, and 3) the curlers won't get stuck Especially if your hair is thin and delicate, you can't afford to be so aggressive with it!

jeniffer navarro: The foam rollers can be replaced for another type of rollers?

Lily Albright: Are you able to do the ringlets with rag curls?

Amber: Ohhhhhh so pretty ..

bleedin irish: Where does one get the pins for the pinwaves?
