#ad #KeepItAnchored #AnchorNowKeepMore

Hi, friends! It's been a bit, but today I'm giving you a look into my curly hair routine as well as 5 different curly hairstyles you can try out for your next gym workout, or whenever! I often wear buns, but buns can cause unnecessary stress and pulling at the hairline, so I've been trying to switch it up lately.

KeepItAnchored focuses on reducing excessive hair loss which stems from oxidative stress at the scalp, often caused by pollution *stares in LA smog* - a calm, clean scalp results in strong hair at the root, and I don't know about you, but I love my curls way too much, so I'll do anything to keep them healthy and strong.

In the same way I workout to prevent health issues and use SPF to prevent skin cancer and premature aging, implementing the KeepItAnchored Essence product helps reduce stress on my scalp and keep the hair I have. Healthy life all around!

What'S up you guys welcome back to my channel. My name is leah. I am a fitness, professional, professional dancer, a lover of all things, movement and fitness, and i love hiking anyways. This is not a bio, but welcome back to my channel, if you're new, here hello, it's great to meet you. Today'S video, i'm going to be showing you guys, five different curly hairstyles that are perfect for the gym. These hairstyles are going to be best at different points during throughout the week. So, as we know wash day, curls or day, one curls are a lot different than like day five curls right, because throughout the week our curls start getting more elongated just from being thrown up in a whole bunch of different hairstyles, especially if you're working out so Um, i'm gon na go from basically like day one curls to kind of like day two and three and then the last few styles are going to be best towards the end of the week. When your curls are, you know not as curly anymore before we get into it, i do want to say that this video is being sponsored by keep it anchored. So you will hear me, be talking about this company throughout the video and also there's going to be some more info down in the description box about that. I'M so excited about this partnership. Keep it anchored. You know their mission and their goal is to help reduce hair loss. However, their promise is not to help grow. Your hair, the goal of their product, is to help you keep the hair that you have already on your head. It'S very similar to like working out right, like we work out to be able to maintain our health um as we get older, we put sunscreen on our face in order to maintain our skin's health and to try to hold on to that health as we age. So with keep it anchored, their goal is very similar as we age you know, our hair goes through a lot of stress, uv damage and with that sometimes causes hair loss, so their products goals are to help. You keep the hair. That'S already on your head by addressing that from the root of your hair at your scalp okay. So i'm very excited for this partnership. Again you'll hear me talking about it throughout the video, but without further ado. Let'S get right into it all right friends, before we get into those five hairstyles, i'm going to go ahead and take you through my current curly hair routine, wash day routine. So, as you see, i am first getting my hair, nice and wet and i'm starting off with the keep it anchored shampoo. So this shampoo is really really great for cleansing your hair. That is such an important step in really any you know: hair care routine, but especially curly hair. If you're like me, you use a lot of hair oils or butters or leave-in conditioners, or any sort of like curl creams. If you're constantly just layering that on your hair daily, it can cause a lot of build up on your scalp, which that scalp buildup can lead to hair loss because essentially, what's happening, is your hair? Follicle almost becomes suffocated and your scalp then can become inflamed and then again, that's not going to be helpful for growing your hair or keeping your hair either. So definitely make sure you guys are really cleansing. Your scalp, if you have curly hair like me and are using any sort of product like that, i like to detangle my hair with that, keep it anchored conditioner while i'm in the shower. So it really helps if you have curly hair to detangle your hair in the shower. It almost helps keep your hair, nice and flexible, avoid as much shedding as possible. After that, i go ahead and get out of the shower to finish up the rest of my routine. So then the last product from keep anchor that i've been using is called their essence. So all this does, is you just literally apply it right on your scalp again? This also has those antioxidants, zinc, minerals and b, vitamins that are clinically proven to replenish the scalp again we're addressing prevention of hair loss, and that has to be addressed at the root of the hair at the scalp. So i just put a few drops in right on my scalp and then i just kind of massage it gently into my scalp and the cool thing about this. Is you can do it when your hair is wet or dry? So you don't have to do it? You know right out of the shower if you're, just you know, refreshing your curls one day and just using like a spray bottle or nothing at all. Even you can still just add a few drops right on your scalp, massage it in and then boom you're good to go. I think my favorite part about this whole. Keep it anchored system is that it's not meant to replace your current. You know products that you're using you know after you wash your hair, so i still am using my normal curl, defining creams and moisturizers, and they keep anchored system is really just like in addition to that. So i really love that, because i do like the products that i'm currently using and it doesn't require you to necessarily switch out those products. So after that, i'm just letting my hair dry in a microfiber towel applying my sunscreen again, it's all about prevention right, just like fitness. We want to prevent diseases using spf, we're preventing uh, wrinkles and premature aging skin cancer. All that good stuff. So after that i got dressed and now i'm going to go ahead and diffuse, my hair. So if you are a curly girl and you're, not diffusing your hair, i'm telling you this is such a major key when it comes to having that really nice curl definition. When i just let my hair air dry, like it's, not bad by any means, but i will say diffusing, it really helps with the frizz um and it just gives me so much more definition. Okay, so all right, let's go ahead and get into our hair style. So this first hairstyle is really going to be great for, like your day, one wash day curl. So if you want to maintain that curl definition, this first hairstyle is for you, it's simply just a pineapple, which means i'm just popping my hair at the top of my head, i pulled out some pieces to style it now. If you have longer hair this one might not work for you, but if you have similar length like me that one's perfect okay style number, two you're gon na need just two hair ties. I like these really like soft elastic ones. Um. You can use scrunchies too. If you want, but all i'm doing, is parting, my hair down the middle and then sectioning off kind of that top section and i'm just making two buns again. This is good if you want to maintain that curl definition on the lower half of your hair um, and i honestly wear this hairstyle all the time i think it's so fun and so cute and it's obviously super easy um, the next hairstyle. So this is actually a new one. I tried, which i'm definitely going to be wearing. More often, i thought it was so cute, so again, sort of like section off the front part of your hair, like as if you had bangs almost i like to use a comb. So it's super clean, i'm adding in a little bit of gel brushing through with my comb, so i can make sure that this gets nice and smooth, and then i use this next brush. I always have called these brushes smooth brushes. I literally am like okay. I need a smooth brush like that's what i call these. I don't know if there's another name for it, but anyway take a smooth brush. You know really lay those front sections down nice and flat, and then i just took a small rubber band and you know put them together behind my head: let down the rest of my hair and then what i love about this hairstyle is. You can keep it like this if you want to keep your hair down or you can put it in like a low pony, especially if you're working out and you don't want your hair down. It'S super cute and just super clean too all right. This next hairstyle again i'm going ahead, i'm starting kind of at the tail end of my eyebrow. For that first part, and then i am parting across my head from the middle over like towards my ear. So i have this like front section. Then i'm gon na go ahead. Take that hair sort of part off like an inch section or so and then what you're going to do is you're going to take rubber bands. So this has been one of my most favorite hairstyles i've been wearing lately. You just take some rubber bands smooth it out. If you want it to look super clean. Of course, you can go for a messier. Look if you wanted, but i liked mine a little bit more smooth. Take that rubber band just tie it on, and then you section off another like inch section or so of hair and then you're combining that front section to the second part and then again taking a rubber band wrapping it around and then really you're going to do. The same thing for this last, the rest of the hair. If you want to add more sections, you absolutely can and just do another part boom. Another part as many as you want for me. I just like to do three, it's the fastest for me and i'm always looking for like simple simplistic hairstyles. So then what i do i do it to the other side, and then i've been just adding like low buns um to this hairstyle. You can really do whatever you want. You could keep going with rubber bands, you could add braids, you could do the low buns. You could do just one bun totally up to you, but i have loved this hairstyle lately all right and then for the last hairstyle. For this video, this is perfect. If you already had the previous hairstyle in all you're going to do is section off the rest of the front. Half of your hair basically and then divide that into two sections. All you're going to do is take a couple. More rubber bands wrap them around. Combine that first section to the second section and then of course make sure that you are doing it on both sides and then from there. You can really do whatever you want. I chose to do two space buns. I thought that was super cute um. You could do like a half up half down situation. I think that would be really cute, but it's really up to you so have fun with it. Thank you again to keep it anchored for sponsoring this video. Let me know if you guys have any questions make sure to like and subscribe and i'll see you guys in the next one
