Trying New Curly Hairstyles Everyday For A Week *Type 3C/4A Curls*

Hi guys before we get into the first hairstyle, i wanted to show you all some of the products i got from the hairsprayers today i went to the store because i needed to get some new products and just some like accessories to do the styles. For this video first thing i got was the wet line extreme gel for styles later on in the video i'm gon na need like a really strong gel to hold and honestly eco doesn't do it for me. I had to do something else, so we're gon na see how this goes. It also smells really good. I also got a different kind of eco gel. I usually get the green gel with the black top, so i decided to do something different. This says max hold. So i was like okay, let me try this, and this also smells really good and i've seen a lot of people say that a lot of the other eco gels like leave their hair hard, but i don't know we'll see how it goes. I just needed something to hold my hair down, because my hair is super thick and it doesn't. It never wants to slick down and i need to slip down with some of these styles so, like i said, i do have some sides that i need my hair to slick, and so i needed a slick brush. Obviously, so i got this little detangling brush. I'M sure some of you guys may have seen it. Then i got this hard bristle brush and yeah. I think this is going to work a lot. I'M excited to use this because i really need a slick brush. It'S going to like pull up my hair. I got this just edge brush because i needed one. It also comes with a little heart to part your hair, and then i got me a ratchet comb would have got the wrap type comb. If i actually noticed that this had the parting tool, but it's okay. So one of my hairstyles are clip style and i'm really excited to use it. So i got this one honestly. I hope it's big enough to hold my hair. I got little hair ties because i was out and i definitely needed them. These are just the regular ones and then these are for thick hair like this is a challenge for me, because i don't really do my hair a lot and when i do my hair, it's either in a puff, i'm wearing it down, or it's going to stick About a bun, so i chose these styles because i wanted to challenge myself because i don't do much to my hair and i think i want to do more hair videos, because i really do like my hair and i'm really so down to try new stuff. With my hair, the only thing that i won't do with my hair is cut it or dye it, because my hair is really pretty, and i like the color, i, like my curls and i like hairstyle stuff, like i'll, try y'all, i'm only for the struggle cause. I don't know like this seems so easy, but it's really not like for someone who doesn't do much with the hair. It'S not easy. What i first need to do is part my hair in sections, so i'm gon na do the part here it's a swoop, and then she had like some edges going on. So i think this would be a good place to part it. Also, i'm not good with parting, my hair either. So this is really a challenge for me. It may not seem like it, but it definitely is that's honestly, as straight as i can get this part. So i think this is where i want my part. My little soup to be, i think, that's enough hair, so i'm going to take a ponytail holder and tie it down because i'm not quite ready to use this hair yet so, actually, now i'm going to take a claw clip. I have a little mini one here and i'm going to twist my hair like this okay, so that's my swoop and my edges will go here. Look at that part y'all. I know y'all see that look at me. I'M gon na pull this hair back a little. So i can see what's going on, but it doesn't need to be aligned this. I don't think in my last video you've already seen how i wear my hair down, so i'm not going to go through that. Yet again, if you want to go see that video, though definitely go watch, but i'm just not going to go through it again, but if you're new here i'm going to just run you through the products that i use, i use the curls leave-in conditioner. This is what it looks like. I use the camille rosemary, mint scallop and shrimping oil. It looks like this and then for like a gel based product. I use the miss jessie's jelly style. Curls this product is my holy grail. I definitely recommend it and then i just use some warm water. I'M gon na do this section first and then i will talk to you guys once i'm ready to do these two sections, so i am ready to put it up in a little ponytail and i'm ready to do my soup. But i have this section in a little scrunchie because i couldn't it was just too much to try to like put this in a plate, but i wanted to do that on camera and i'm gon na do my soup. It turns out good, then i would definitely be doing this hairstyle a lot more. I'M thinking that i need to. I don't know if i need to put my hair in a ponytail first or do my swoop first, which one makes the most sense to go ahead and do this swoop. Yeah. I'M gon na go ahead and do the swoop, because that just is what makes sense. So for this i'm just going to use some water and some extreme wet line gel to do this, just some water will do because, like i said i already have product in my hair, so i'm just stretch it out a little bit this brush. I love this brush. It is amazing. I want to take the extreme wetland joe. It smells so good. I wish i could smell it through the screen, so i'm gon na break it through because it's going to be easier to slip down. If i do that - and i also have some bobby - oh my gosh - oh my gosh - it just defined my curls y'all - look at i'm putting some eco gel right here. So now i'm going to take this brush. This is a little hard to do the soup on this side, because it's not my dominant side yeah. I should have done the soup on this side because it's easier for me to do it, but i think it'll be fun. I'M just parting right here, because some of the little hairs can just be put in a ponytail plus it makes the part a little cleaner. So i'm going to just do like that. So i think i just pull it behind my ear like that, but i don't know if i should have now. I feel like i should have done the ponytail first yeah. Okay, so we're gon na change the plan and we're gon na do the ponytail. First, i'm gon na put some gel here. I'M gon na do my edges last. I'M gon na use the very very last thing that i do so i'm just putting some wet line and some eco right here and we'll do the same over here. Okay: okay, look at me. Look at me doing this stuff: okay, okay, we're starting out pretty fun all right! I'M gon na put some more water on here because it's kind of hardening it's like a hump y'all like y'all, see that, like i don't know it could just be me, but this is my first time doing it, so there is definitely room for growth. Taking my bobby pin and i'm going to pin it up all right, i got one up. I think i'm gon na do what i want to do a total of three, because i feel like it's gon na, be that's one. My last one it's gon na go here now, i'm gon na take this down. Oh my gosh guys it's looking cute, it's looking cute. I sound like that. But it's okay! It'S okay! I'M feeling myself, because this looks bomb all right. I'M gon na fix this up because the girl that looks, i don't look good at all. Okay, that's honestly, the best i can do like i said this is my first time doing this style. Let me put some eco on my edges here and see y'all. This is, i told y'all. I was not tripping when i said that was a problem because they don't look right looks like i have a bald spot, we're just gon na go with it. Okay, we're gon na go with it, we're gon na open it and not drink, because if we trip i'm gon na want to take this whole entire thing down and we're not gon na do that? Okay! So all right, since i've got one edge here and then i'm gon na do something like this over here. I'M gon na put some more water on this part right here, okay guys. So this is what my hair looks like and i think it looks so cute feels good to also do different styles on my hair because, like i said, i always wear the same style, so i'm more excited for the other style that i have in mine. I think they're gon na look so good. You know, i know how to do styles on my hair, this turned out really cute and i am really proud of myself and i am loving it y'all, like i really am so pretty in it. It makes me look good. I love it y'all. My edges are not cute too, even though this is annoying me. It'S like this sounds really cute and i really really like it, and this is just it's giving me life like it, really is giving me life. Hey y'all, i just wanted to say sorry for the abrupt ending on this clip. I had some things that i was talking about and at the end of this footage - and i ended up not wanting to use it as i was editing it so then there wasn't a way for me to edit it seamlessly so that it would flow. So i wasn't able to do a proper outro, because my outro included some of the things that i was talking about. I didn't want to use that footage anymore. So that's why the ending is a little bit odd and abrupt so yeah, let's go ahead and get right back into the video hey y'all, so today's hairstyle is a little bit on the more simpler side. So let's go ahead and take my butter though, and see what we're working with. Hopefully i can just fluff my hair out, because i really don't feel like having to go through my hair again and put a product in my hair and do all that. The only thing i want to put onto my hair is the part that's going to be slicked down so hopefully i don't have to do that. So, let's go ahead and take this off, it looks fine. I think i think i can work with it. I'M really not looking for perfection, because i'm slicking the hair here, i'm not going to have so much hair so that it'll look better. So first i'm gon na part it in the middle actually because that's the middle part, so i'm gon na part it in the middle like that. So now i'm gon na part the hair here. So now this part should be super easy. I'M just looking at my hair, so just with my hair, i'm just going to use eco water and the extreme wet line gel. So i'm going to take my bobby pin here and go ahead and prepare to bobby pin it. I think that's good. So i'm going to take my rat tail comb and go along the edges here and fix those up and kind of make them straight. You see how it's a lot slicker with less hair. That'S the trick with this kind of style and the one i did yesterday. Okay, so i think this side's done for the most part now for the one we've all been waiting for. Let'S take this down. This is actually not bad guys. Okay, y'all. So i really like this hairstyle and i think it looks really cute. It'S very simple and i'm going to give this hairstyle, i'm going to give it a i'm going to give it an 8 out of 10.. It'S really really cute and it's not a 10, because it's not like. Oh my favorite hairstyle. Ever i really like this style. It was easy to do. I didn't have to do a lot of product i didn't have to like. Do it wasn't complex? Like yesterday's hairstyle, you know this hairstyle was a complex. It was just a lot of different steps to get to the final product. So i like how this one just took about it literally took about 10 minutes to do what i'm really noticing is this hair right here is usually the hair. That'S in my face so having it down just like opens up my face and, like i feel like i can breathe, because sometimes, when i wear my hair down, the hair is all over my face and it gets hot, especially now, because it was only 3 degrees. Yesterday, 92 degrees y'all, i'm going to go ahead and end today's portion of the video. I will see you guys tomorrow with a new hairstyle bye, bye myself and i know you tried, i tried it must have been at different times. Um. No, you don't know me at all anymore, okay y'all, so i don't know what i'm doing wrong like a hump here and then like it's just not looking like the picture. So what i'm gon na do is put this hair back and then redo this, because this is not looking like the picture, and i really don't know what i'm doing wrong, because i know that i need to have the ponytail low and i just don't know what I'M doing wrong, i know i got a big head, but my big head is not the reason. This is not working this hair in the back. I don't know if this is a good, but this hair is getting in my way and i can't bring it down how i want. I think i might have gotten it, but i'm not sure i think that looks a little better, but my hair is my hair. Is just not going to do right up here, so i'm not going to stress about it. Just how thick my hair is it's impossible to get it completely slick, because when i do stick my hair and i do get a really good slick down. My hair, like waves, start forming on my head, which you guys can kind of see them like they're, starting to form on my head, like i don't know why it doesn't look terrible. It'S actually not looking that bad, i'm looking at it in the mirror, and i mean it could be better yes, but for my first time doing this style, i don't think it looks that bad, but there's definitely room for growth. Okay, so this hairstyle was a little bit difficult only because my hair will not stick down, but other than that. I think it's a really cute style, and maybe i just need to practice on my hair or whatever, but other than this part. I think it looks pretty cute, it's really cute from the side. That'S that's like really cute on the side. I'M gon na give this one like i'm gon na, give it like a five or six only because it's really now, i'm gon na give it like a six or seven actually because it's cute, but the top is bugging me. So that's that i mean i think i did pretty good like. I will see you guys tomorrow with a new hairstyle bye. So oh don't mind the dryer it's on, but this is not working. The clip is a little too small for my hair. So i don't know what else to do. I heard it crack a little bit. I think i broke it a little and i'm trying to think of another solution, but i don't know even if i went in with this one, this would hold my hair a lot more, but it's just my hair is too thick, but i'm gon na try it That doesn't look good like that. Doesn'T look right at all. I tried to find bigger, claw clips on amazon, but they just weren't looking big enough like they said that they were for thick hair and they said they were larger ones, but they just weren't big enough. That low key looks kind of bad. It actually does look bad, but honestly, this is the best. This is the best that i can do. I'M not gon na lie, so i'm gon na go ahead and do my edges i'm just going to have to get bigger cloth lips, because this style is really cute. I really like it. I mean it doesn't look terrible like it doesn't look bad, but it just doesn't look how i want it to look when i went to go. Buy this claw clip. I genuinely thought it was going to be the right size, but clearly i was wrong. It doesn't give that it just doesn't get it's not giving me. I really like monday's style um. I think it was really cute. You just had to do a lot to get to the final product, which i already stated. I think i would do that style again. Tuesday, i would do it again because it was super simple and super easy and it was really cute and it kept the hair out of my face. I don't know about wednesday style the little parts when you bring it back like. Where does the hair go because it? I was looking ridiculous, like my hair, looked really crazy in the back, because i didn't know where to put the hair, like you can't put it in the ponytail, because how would that work and then like? If you bobby pin it like, how do you body put it to make it not be shown people looking at you from behind they're like what is going on like her head like what's going on, so i didn't. I don't know if i really like that one. I think it's cute from the front, but from the back it's not it's not cute at all. I like thursday style when my hair was wet, but when it dried y'all, i was looking a little crazy. I'M not gon na lie to y'all, and i looked weird because this part of my hair was slick, but this part was literally poofed out like this, like friday style. I really like it. It'S just gon na take me getting a different call, clip i'm gon na order, some off of amazon. I really thought that this one was gon na be big enough, but clearly it's not. I don't even know how this one's staying on overall, i would totally do some of these hairstyles again.
