5 Go-To Curly Hairstyles *Cute, Easy And Quick*

Thank you. What'S up guys, if you don't already know, my name is Jewel and, as you can tell by the title in today's video, I'm going to be showing you guys my go-to curly hairstyles. I have about like five hairstyles for you guys today. My hair is out, as you can tell, it does, need to be washed, but these hairstyles are going to take a lot of gel and products, so I thought I would hold off from washing my hair until after this video it's been like a week since I Washed, my hair, so it's definitely time, but I feel like this is a perfect time to do hairstyles where you add gel and product just because, like I feel like your hair folds better for me personally, these hairstyles make me feel super super confident. I feel like the way that my hair looks when it's up just like shapes my face: better love, my curly hair, though, so that's why I want to share these hairstyles with you guys, where you can still see the curls and stuff but they're. Just out of your face, you know if you haven't watched my last video talking about how to love your curly hair. I did talk about how figuring out what hairstyles make you feel confident is super super important. It'S like a crucial step in learning how to love your hair, so go watch that right now, but yes, let's get into the video, so this one's pretty easy. The first hairstyle I I'm gon na - be showing you guys. I don't really have a name for it. I don't know what it's called, but right now we're gon na call it the Twist and puff but yeah. So you want to part your hair down the middle. If you have a red tail, comb go ahead and get that I have a regular comb. So I'm just going to use that because I don't feel like getting up right now, but yeah so you're gon na use your comb to make a part in the middle also mind you guys, I'm doing all of this in the camera lens and I have a Little mirror right here, so if it's not perfect, don't judge like relax a little bit. This is going to be the best of my ability, okay, yeah, so you're gon na just do a part also this hairstyle you're going to want to do when your hair is dry. It just looks, I feel, like it looks better with the volume when your hair is dry, I'm going to take a spray bottle and you're just gon na wet a little bit near the part, because this is where you're gon na twist your hair, but obviously you're. Not soaking your whole head and then you're gon na take some gel you're going to put the gel New Year part also just to keep that part there and to keep your hair like separated and you're gon na need some bobby pins. Honestly, you only really need like two, then you could take a brush to like slick it a little bit just the front Pieces Just to like Smooth it and keep the part noticeable and I'm gon na take some more gel and, as I take the gel, I'm Going to start twisting one side, you're literally just gon na keep grabbing more and more hair. Okay, take my bobby pin I'm gon na stick it in there, so the twist holds all right. So now that I have both bobby pins in don't worry about trying to hide the bobby pins, because you're, just gon na take them out in a bit. So this is just gon na hold the twist until you put your hair in a puff, so you're gon na start grabbing, your hair obviously clean up your edges and all of that add water spray. Whatever you want, I'm using this like big bulky spray bottle because mine broke, I had a pattern, Beauty spray bottle and it broke. Tracy Ellis Ross, honey disappointed us, so I'm using this one. For now, until I buy a new one, it was like one of those bottles that you like hold down and, like the water comes out, so you don't have to keep like spraying, but yeah. So you're, just gon na put your hair up into a puff and, as you can see, the part is still there and the twists are still there, because the body can start holding it and doing their job and don't worry about like. Oh. What? If I tie on the bobby pin like literally it's fine they'll, be super easy to get out just tie your hair, don't take the body pins out yet, okay, honestly, you could even leave the bobby pins because you can't really see where they are, but you guys Could see it a lot better, but my hair is super dark, so you can't really see me try to like get down and like this is probably my favorite hairstyle in terms of like easiness. I feel like this is super easy to do and it looks like you tried it's not just like a regular puff. You know if you feel like you're someone who isn't the best at doing your hair. This is definitely a hairstyle to try and then obviously do your edges and all of that I'm gon na. Do that too. Right now, I feel like I'm not really the best at doing my edges. I just literally do them the easiest way possible, but yeah. That'S your style number one, let's get into the next one, all right so for the next hairstyle, it's gon na be kind of the same you're going to want to take two pieces in the front and part your hair in the middle and you're gon na. Take two pieces of hair: let's take another, I think that's fine, honestly mine is not perfect, but y'all. You'Re Gon na Want to have like a triangle shape also like one side parted like this on the other side party like that, so for this hairstyle we are berating in the front and then we're gon na do. But it's not just any usually do a cornrow, starting from the very top from where you started your part you're going to want to wet this part of the hair like actually get it soaked so that the braid can be neat yeah. So I'm just taking my comb and just untangling a little bit, I'm just gon na brush this out the way so it doesn't get in my braid, I'm going to take my gel a gel, the very top where the part starts and if you don't know how To do cornrow braid, that's also something you should probably look up how to do, but it's super simple. I promise you it's kind of like the twist you're, just adding more hair, and this is a tinier braid. So I feel like it should be a lot easier to add more hair, but I'm going to zoom in for you guys. So you can get an idea. So I'm going to start from the top and take some hair and you're going to divide this into three sections. Braid that section A few times just two times and then you're gon na add more hair on both sides. You'Re Gon na Keep adding not just on one side. Honestly, you can just do this hairstyle, just a regular braid without doing cornrow. I feel like it just adds more like it's a lot cuter but yeah. If you, if you really can't do this, definitely just braid it, because that's also super cute, but yeah if you want to be different, definitely try the cornrow braid, I'm just going all the way down and I'm gon na do this. On the other side, the exact same thing the braids are done once again, you can barely see because my hair is so dark, but yeah Next Step we're going to leave these braids out and we're just going to put the rest of our hair into a puff Boom and if you want to make your puff a little bit smaller, if you have pretty long hair like me, my hair is not that long. It is getting a lot longer since the last time I cut it, but you could take a hair tie. I'M just gon na grab the puff and you're gon na like choose a spot like right here. I think it's good for me. If you had a smaller hair tie, you could literally just leave it here, but I don't so I'm just gon na tie it one more time right there and yeah. Just pull your hair and the puff becomes a lot smaller, that's a little secret. I have for y'all, so I'm talking about you pretty sure. A lot of people know about that. I'M just gon na clean up the sides and then I'm gon na do my edges. Super easy super cute, definitely more fun than the last one. Just because you have your curls out and then you have the braids I'm gon na do my edges. I'M gon na just put these back real, quick, which is also so cute. I feel like it looks like a little headband too. I feel like when I do this hairstyle. I tend to keep the braids behind my ears just because, like I don't like hair in my face, but it's actually super cute um, you could just leave like one hanging. I feel like this is usually my go-to, like one hanging one behind my ear but beer, that's the hairstyle super cute. I feel like this yeah, the one out one behind the ear yeah. I love that a lot all right, y'all for this next hairstyle we're gon na need some hair in the front. Once again, I got my rat tooth rat tooth grab, my rat tail comb and I'm just going to use it to do a good part. Now, for this hairstyle you have two options: you can either do a side, part or a middle part. I love both, but middle parts. Just have my heart. I'Ve done a side part with this hairstyle, but for now we are going to go the middle part route. You'Re going to want to part all the way down to your ear, like that they're, like that before you pick up your hair, I'm going to want to take out a good amount of hair in the back towards the very back near your neck. Just has to be a good amount of hair so like that. This is how you should look so far. You'Re, just gon na get your water and your gel and you're going to Slick this down both sides and you're, going to bring them in the back and you're going to put it with the hair piece that we took out. I'M just going to Slick it. A little bit more, you can literally do anything with this um. I guess like headband look so as you can do that claw clip hairstyle, which I'm definitely going to show you guys how to get so once you have it select we're going to get this hair. So we're going to do a puff and you're just gon na grab the hair. That'S in the back, the ponytail, that's in the back and then I'm going to take my Clips I'll. Take some brown ones that I have yeah. It'S super cute with the clips and then there's that super cute and next I'm going to show you guys how to do the claw clip hairstyle - and this is super super simple, even though it does not look achievable for girls with curly hair. I know you guys have seen all over Tick, Tock and Instagram girls with curly hair rocking this hairstyle, because it is achievable. Okay, we're gon na leave this part and we are gon na pick up our hair again, but it's not gon na be as high up like in the middle of our head. I think right here is a good height. Honestly, you could still have clips for this. Hairstyle, so I feel like it's really helpful. We'Re going to take another hair tie and you're just going to kind of twist and uh and you're just going to tie that bottom part. And if you want it to look a little more like higher up and not so like, spread out and wide, I feel like personally I like the wide look. You can take. Another hair tie and just tie this part, and then you have a little puff right. There and that's how the back should look. You can literally take a clip and put it right on top and it'll look like the clip is holding it, but obviously it's not that's the hairstyle. Oh, this is so cute from the side. It looks so cute just like a little a little bun. This last hairstyle is probably the hairstyle that I do the most My ultimate favorite hairstyle, just because it's super cute super easy to go to, and I just know how to do it like. I feel like I've perfected this hairstyle, so you will need to part your hair down the middle. Once again, all these hairstyles require you to put your hair down the middle. I feel like just because middle parts just shape my head better. I feel like side Parts aren't for me unless I'm wearing my hair out, like I love wearing my hair to the side, but you're going to want to do those triangles you're going to put your hair in. Like a triangle, I'm sure you guys have seen this hairstyle also all over Tick. Tock with, like the Bella Hadi Trend, that's going on um and I feel like I used to always do this hairstyle with like um a part down the middle, but I never used to do it this way. I feel like this way just keeps the part. So much more perfect and like your bun or ponytail, whatever you do, is so much more slick with this technique but yeah. So I'm going to do a bun, but I'm going to leave some curls out. I feel like this is something I love to do, because it's super cute and it's not just like a regular one. You know leave some curls out in the back. It'S gon na like get an idea of wet hair and where I want it to be out. My trick to a messy bun is to do a puff first, so you're gon na like take the bun. I mean the puff and bring It Forward like that. I'M gon na go underneath it and bring it forward. I'M just gon na tie the hair tie from the back and whatever curls get in get in. You know it doesn't matter, so it kind of looks like that. But then I'm going to take my two parts and literally I'm going to bring them back like that and I'm going to brush it up this way and I'm going to take it and tie it around the bun. And this is where you can start fixing the bun to how you, like it, um, making it Messier whatever I'm just gon na put one more hair tie around and take some curls wrap them around, literally whatever you need to do to just make the messy bun. How you want it the curls at the bottom, add some gel and water all right. So that's how it's looking and if, for any reason you didn't like how One of the curls turned out literally, I don't think I want which one is. I don't think I want it so clumps back here, so I'm just going to separate this curl, so I'm literally gon na take this curl and pick it up and wrap it around into my bun. That'S what it's looking like! I love this hairstyle, it's so simple, but yet, like so effective and it's better than just like a regular bun but yeah y'all.
