Jira will be joining me today and she is my eldest child out of the four kids and she will also thank you. I don't know how many kids i have been getting a lot of requests here on youtube and on my instagram account asking for my new hair routine. I have jaira here with me. She is my eldest out of my five children and she is also going to be showing you her hair, routine. First step. We are going to get our hair washed. We are going to list everything we have, so you don't have to go back to the video and go look for everything let's get started and get our hair washed all right stitch. This is what my day, 4 hair typically looks like it's kind of like the curls have all fallen out, and it's just kind of wavy and frizzy, and it definitely is time for a wash. So i'm going to start off with lukewarm water and my hair just got extra long, adding all that water. First, i'm going to start with my hydrate and repair protein treatment. This is a deep condition, so i like to get just a small amount and just go deep inside the roots just at the scalp of my head, and this really helps soften my hair also go in for another scoop of this stuff. I like to add this to the ends of my hair, just the roots and just the ends. Next, i like to come in with the conditioner, which this is a coconut oil. It'S also shea moisture. I put a little bit of my hands, rub it in and go for the middle of my hair. This might seem like a lot, but i need all the help i can get with the tangles i have curly. Hair typically is very tangly. Adding a little bit of water helps spread the conditioner throughout my hair. Now i'm going to grab my favorite go-to comb. It is a wide tooth and is perfect for getting out. Those tangles are very difficult and sometimes i'll just brush. My hair with my fingers, because it's more gentle on my hair now i'm going to give it one more light. Rinse i used to rinse my hair right after adding the conditioner, but i quit that leaving it in your hair for a good amount of time actually benefits you more so, with all the conditioner still remaining in my hair, i will twist my hair in a knot And place at the top of my head here i'll leave it for about 10 minutes and then i'll be back. Now that the conditioner has sat in my hair, it feels so silky and smooth. Now i am ready to rinse out the conditioner i like to get all of it out. I do not leave any conditioner remaining, because the conditioners i use are not a leave-in conditioner. I like to go over it once with my wide tooth comb to make sure there is no frizz, and then i put it at the top of my head still leaving it pretty damp, and that is what i do all right. It'S my turn. You see this. I haven't washed this in like how long let's get started. First, i'm gon na wash my hair with warm water, i'm gon na get it really really wet and then i'm gon na add suave conditioner. I'M gon na put quite a lot on because i have long hair, i'm gon na scrub it all in i'm gon na comb. All my tangles out as you can see it's taking me like forever to get out. I like to use my fingers to get some of them out because the comb's a little bit too hard on my hair. Sometimes i'm gon na rinse, all that conditioner out and then i'm gon na add some more conditioner scrub it in comb. It out use my fingers, i'm gon na rinse, some of it out not all of it and i'm gon na comb it again and then i'm done. The next step is adding our creams and gels. So jaira is going to add what she likes to put in her hair and the technique she uses and then i'm going to use what i like to use and show you how i put it in my hair, so we're just gon na go for it. You can watch whoever you wan na watch, so you might wan na watch me okay. So let's do the first step. Okay. So what do you do with your hair? I like to like to get my hair down to brush it out. Hopefully, this towel helps keep me sort of dry. I uh here comes micah. Did you know the camera's on hurry run to the kitchen? If you need something, do you need it? Do you need something the timer went off? Okay, it's your turn, then you're gon na first use shea moisture, you're gon na use the coconut hibiscus yes. So this is a curl enhancing smoothie and she really likes this one, and so do i smell so good yeah, so go ahead and show how you like to how much you like to put in here. While i get my hair ready for the creams. Okay. Put about i like that about this much and i flip my hair, rub it into my hands and i like to scrunch everything in i was using the denman brush. This brush is amazing. It helps define your curls and it's more of a styling brush more than a detangler, so i use it after i brush my hair. So go ahead and what's your next step, the gel the coconut custard gel, go about that much and then how do you put in your hair and then i flip my hair back? Okay, rub it in scratch! It i like to split it first down the middle, and then i take a section um at the top of my head and i grab a good chunk of my hair. I'M going to use this leave-in conditioner. It is also shea moisture. The manuka honey is also great for hydrating and repairing, and it has yogurt in it too. Let me get it on my hand and just kind of ring it through my hair ring it through or comb it through comb it through i'm gon na get a little bit more on my hand, it's kind of meant to spray directly to your hair, but i Want to get it inside, so i just put it on my hands. I take small little sections like this and i kind of like soften them up and try to get rid of any of the frizz and i grab it and i give it a scrunch and then i kind of put it to the side grab another section i Brush my hair up from the roots, because it gives it that extra volume, if you notice that you brush your hair down it, will flatten your hair. So you can do this even with straight hair, you brush your hair up when it's wet and it lifts it from the roots, hear that that means the product time fun is getting inside my hair, i do like to come in with the same one. Jerry used the coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie and i'll get a little bit of that. Just get a little bit kind of grab the bottom of my hair and kind of go in with it like that. Now i'm going to do the top of my hair! So i'll just release this and i need to brush this out. Jar is going to get me the spray bottle. This has sat on the top of my head for too long and it's a little dry. My hair dries out very fast. I have more of the dry hair type, make sure it's not too dry there. You go now we'll brush it out. There see that's nice, okay, i'm gon na put this section of my hair back so that it doesn't get in my way and i don't brush it out after i already did my hair okay, i don't want to spray the stuff on my face. It'S messy all right. I'M gon na add that leave-in conditioner, i'm gon na put that through it. Now i'm going to section off the top piece and brush it up brush it up and scrunch. It add a little bit of the hibiscus and coconut because i'm going to put it back right away, it's lost forever. That is the last step for my creams. Jar is like come on. Does this really take this long for you to do your hair? Yes, i've seen you take forever. Yes, it takes a long time, but luckily i only do my hair once every maybe five days, so i don't wash it that often i do mine like every every other three days. So the next thing i want to add is a gel. This gel is called the main, and i love this gel, it's so nice. I only have to use a little bit, but i'm going to get this to try to cover all my hair. I like to get my hands a little wet when i use this because it just helps it spread better, but i flip my hair upside down. You bur, you can't even see it's on my hand. I just got like enough on my hand. I don't know what you'd say a quarter size, probably more than that, and then i need more water put some more water in your hands, and this is where kind of just like this scrunch it in now we're going to show you how we dry our hair. So the first step would be putting our hair in a t-shirt and leaving it in, for, i would think, like 20 minutes, okay yeah! So if we do our overnight time, she'll put her hair in a t-shirt overnight and take it out in the morning. But usually, if we're going to be going somewhere, we need to do a quick hair. We will put it in a t-shirt for 20 minutes and then blow dry it. So we're going to show you how we do that technique. So, let's put it in our t-shirt. Okay, so we like to take our t-shirt and we place it on the ground with this side down and we take our hair and very gently, put it straight down. We take this and tie it back then take this up and there you go place that in that's it, okay up, got it there. So this is what we look like for about like 20 minutes, when your hair is drying and you let it dry down it. Your heavy hair pulls on your roots and it flattens the top of your head. So as much as possible. We try to dry it where their hair is still kind of up, so the roots still have time to dry that way and then we'll blow dry it. So we're going to give it about 20 minutes and we'll be back okay, all right or she do her break. Let'S go eat lunch, cookies, cookies. It'S time to dry, my hair gyra is making cookies right now, so we will do her hair after mine. This has been used for a lot of craft projects, so it's kind of scary looking, but that's what i'm going to be using i'm going to put my diffuser on the end of my blow. Dryer take this out first and there we go. This is what my hair looks like right before i dry my hair some days when i don't have time to use the diffuser i'll just go out like this. Let it air dry on its own. A lot of times being out in the sun is perfect to dry. My hair. It just makes the perfect curls, but we need to speed up the process. So we're going to show you how i use my diffuser and we'll see how this looks i'm going to flip my hair upside down and dry it that way, because then again, it helps give you more volume at the top. Instead of drying your hair and flattening it, so i'm gon na flip my hair upside down for this one, i'm gon na put my blow dryer on medium and also on warm heat. So i'm going to go through my hair with a a microfiber towel, or a t-shirt and kind of scrunch out a little bit of that dampness and then break the gel so that my curls can curl even more. Sometimes the gel keeps the curls from really bouncing up. So what helps to break up the curls and gel so use your hands? Give your hands one go through now, i'm gon na finish diffusing. So i don't like to completely dry it because it just dries out too much and then it frizzes a lot. So i'm going to let this dry, naturally the rest of the way, i'm going to show you a little technique. I do to give my hair volume as it's going through this drying process bobby pins, grab the hair closest to my scalp. I go in and i give it like this weird twist and then i push it in and it holds it so it kind of like grabs a lot of hair twists it and then, as it dries. It just gives it more volume closer to your scalp. So i place them starting at the back of my head and i give it a little twist and i push it in twist it and push it in, and i kind of do that as i go up my my scalp go from the back and just keep Going up here, i leave the bobby pins in for just a short time, maybe 20 minutes or, if i'm on my way somewhere i'll leave them in until my hair completely dries and then i'll take out the bobby pins and fluff my hair up and it's good To go jyrah made peanut butter cookies, they are so good. She loves to bake yeah, so we're going to dry, jairus hair. You know when the dough is still so soft. Those are the best cookies, the soft cookies. How does that look? Oh, it looks really nice. All right, dyer's, just gon na enjoy cookies as i do our hair. So i am going to take out my bobby pins that i left in. While i was drying jairus hair i like to fluff it up just a little bit at the roots there. So this is my hair done bobby pins are gone, the roots are dry and it's the sun, so that is our hair routine. We are finished. My second oldest daughter, her hair, is a little straighter, maybe a little wavy too, but we got her hair to go all the way to type five. I don't know it was just really curly and coily. If you guys want to know how we did that we have a video that we'll link for you guys, please let us know what you think in the comments below and we'll see you guys next time you

Sydney Barnes: I love that you are teaching Jirah how to care for her curls and embrace them! When I was her age all I wanted to do was straighten them, now I love my curls so much! What a fun video to watch.

yaya.: WHY DID I THINK THEY WERE SISTERS . y'all are so pretty ❤. edit : i got so many likes randomly lol ‍

Tera Schwartz: So glad that Jirah is learning how to do her hair at such a young age! I got my curls from my dad so I never learned how to embrace my hair and am 15 and just began embracing them! She’s so blessed to have a momma who is helping her work through learning the ropes of being a curly girl!

Sky Sin: Awww their relationship as mother and daughter is soooo cute

The Moore The Merrier Vlogs: UPDATE: I forgot to tell you all, yes I do a deep shampoo wash once every 2 weeks. I use the Shea Moisture Coconut Shampoo. Sorry I forgot to mention in the video ☺️ Hope you enjoyed! Let us know what you think of the routine!!!

Insanely AweSAM: It’s weird how curly hair is a dominant trait yet so rarely shows up. You guys are blessed with beautiful locks! Keep rocking them! ❤️

Vee: I'm 21. I have a 2 year old daugther and we both have curly hair. Can't wait for someday that we style our hair together like this. Love you all.

Teacher Dee Dee's World: I love that you're using hair products that even back girls can use and your hair wrap method is genius. Thank you for showing us that it doesn't matter what your race is, CURLS ARE BEAUTIFUL period. Thank you.

༊*·˚ eggfield: I like using ogx & Alikay Naturals. I have type 3c-4a hair. It’s GREAT. AND SMELLS SO YUMMY. I prefer using bonnets than t-shirts.

Elise Mo: I am so glad you encourage your curly tops to love their natural hair! That is something that I have struggled with for YEARS. And, bless my straight-haired mom, she tried to help me figure out my hair, but curls are a whole science experiment by themselves!

semufu9: I just started using the shea moisture curl smoothie, it really does smell amazing! I'm still trying to figure out a method that works with my wavy/curly hair, I usually go 4 days without washing. I just picked up the conditioner version of the smoothie and cannot wait to use it. I love both of your curl pattern, it's so pretty!

Roxanne Arismendez: Beautiful mother daughter duo with gorgeous curls!! I got my curls from my momma, too. ❤

Nayela U: omg I thought you two were sisters! I aspire to have this type of relationship with my daughter, beautiful results btw!

Shania S .: Cutest mother daughter duo Mom looks like a teenager

B. Edwards: Ahhhh! That tshirt tie routine is awesome! I’m so stealing this idea! I have naturally curly 4c hair that goes down to my hips almost! Beautiful ladies!

0BV1USLY3VS: I love that Jirah always smiles! It’s so cute! Everyone video I watch, she is smiling! Take care!

Rachael: This actually really helped me!! I LOVE Shea moisture. Could y’all do a curly hair styles video? That would be awesome! Thanks for this.

Nicole: Love this video! You both have gorgeous curls and it's so nice to see you teaching Jirah how to take care of her curls and embrace them.

Sonia Rodriguez: Love your hair ladies .I used to have beautiful "longer " curls. My grandma always loved my curly hair , getting annoyed anytime I wanted to straighten it. She would even get her straight hair permed so that's how much she really loved curly hair and appreciated what I had . I want it long and struggled with letting it grown because I also get it colored. I think if I just wore it curly It would grow then I could have long curly highlighted hair like I want....sigh so for now hair extensions till then. I'm definitely going to try to go longer periods wearing it curly... Ugh I just think it looks ugly shorter and curly :(.

Julia: It's just awesome to see this mother-daughter relationship❤️love it!

m moreira: Aqui no Brasil também temos produtos bons para cabelos cacheados , mas esses produtos que você está usando parece ser maravilhoso. Adorei a finalização dos seus cabelos.

Chrysta Cerry Airine: You both make me miss my curly hair! I used to get my hair done with my mama. Good tutorial! I have straight hair now and I’m watching this for someday. Thank you :)

Shirley C: Just discovered your channel ! You guys have same hair type and length as me this has helped me out a lot! I love Shea moisture ❤️ ALSO; beautiful mom and daughter goals. I have a 6 year old and people tell me I look like her sister as well great content

M Sammy: This is so wholesome. I love it ❤. They both have beautiful hair

N: You guys have incredibly beautiful hair. I want my hair to look like that, haha. I'm at the beginning of my curly hair journey and wondering how it'll look in a year.

Dayna Daily: Thank you for sharing. I have straight hair, but my daughter has curly. So learning how to maintain it is very useful

Lily_Alexa: I just found your videos and I absolutely love them! I’m 14 and also have curly hair but my mom straightens her hair so she doesn’t know how to take care of her curly hair, it’s so awesome that you are teaching her how to take care of her hair now!

Ragan Daigrepont: Props to you for all them kids at such a young age! What a beautiful family!

Sela Vazquez: it’s so amazing that your teaching her how to do her hair!! i was never taught how too when i was younger so it was always just crazy so my dad would just always have the hairdresser cut it all off because he didn’t like how poofy it was when it was really just curly so this is really awesome

rebecca williams: You both have absolutely gorgeous curls. My daughter is 5 and has curlier hair than me and I really hope she will let me teach her to take care of her curls as my mum didn't take care of mine and now I have to really work for it x

Monica Gordey: Hello! Thank you so much for making this video! My 9 y/o daughter has long curly/wavy hair just like Jirah's. My real struggle is helping my daughter 'fix' her hair in the morning during the fall & winter months when she is not able to leave the house with wet/damp hair. It's so wild & crazy in the a.m. HELP!?!? What is the best way to refresh it in the a.m. without a lot of moisture so she doesn't look like a feral with tangled curls and straight stringy pieces tangled in? :-) Would LOVE to watch & like another video before the weather turns! XOXO

Joanna McMahon: Savannah and Jirah, your hair always looks incredible - but never have I been so pleased to have naturally straight hair! I would not have the patience! x

buffalo bill: i showed this to my wife who has long straight hair and she loves your wifes hair. Big thumbs up for Micah man!!!

Forever Fee Fee: I love how diverse you are with your hair care! New sub! ♥️

Crafty Girl: My husband has nicknamed your vlogs " The Moore the Hairier." We love watching you guys!

McKenzie: Y’all have the most beautiful hair I have ever seen! My hair is thick, curly, & frizzy & I remember (way back when) in middle school when I’d wash my hair every single day and then just put moose and gel in it

Lyrics and Lavenders: This is adorable! I'm pretty much the only one in my immediate family with curls, so I'm still learning how to take care of them as an adult.

bella: Hey love the vid! Can u do a updated version? This is very Inspirational! I have curly hair but I’ve been straightening my hair for about 6 months. You guys hair looks amazing! - bella, keep up that good work

R Bear: Aww I love you guys! Beautiful girls and some excellent tips which I plan to try!

Noemi Dudová: You guys look so beautiful. Your hair are really amazing. I want to touch it, because it is sooo curly. I admire you Jirah, because you are able to get your hair done like this, it has to be pretty hard process. I have my hair straight, but very long, almost to my knees, and it's also really hard to work with them and get them done, but nothing like curly hair.❤

Aisha Ismail: U both look like sisters ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Miss Lovely: I hope me and my daughters are like this when they grow up…

Donna Evans: Some people think they want curly hair, BUT it is a lot of work. My one sister and one brother and dad had curly hair... It was hard for them to care for it. Easier for the guys... They could keep it short... thank you for this helpful information that my sister wishes she knew years ago!

f l o r a: yall r so cuteee you can clearly tell she loves her daughter <3

TheMurderShow: Beautiful hair!!!

Zoé Roy: It would be interesting to see Jirah, with straight hair. :) Love your videos, so amazing.

Tenn711: Both of you have a beautiful hair love it

Malia Lalman: This really helps me with my curls

izflower: Hi. You start with shampoo, conditioner then protein treatment once a month! Don't use the protein treatment more than once a month otherwise you can risk getting a protein overload. Instead (I'm assuming you have high porosity hair) use a moisturising deep conditioner once a week! I currently use the black jmco deep conditioner by shea moisture which works amazing!

JustDave: Way to go mom, you look like sister to your children and beautiful too.

Debbie: I love ❤ you'll Hai care routine I am going to try it tomorrow ☺

Sydney Hanna: Love how jirah barely uses any product or denman brush and her hair comes out the same way as Savannah’s

Riya Jain: Honestly, idk how you guys don't have 1 million subscribers already ❤❤
