How To Do A 4 Strand French Braid On Curly Hair

I'Ve seen the four strand French braid done a bunch of times on straight hair, but never on curly hair. So he wanted to give it a try on my daughter's beautiful curly locks. We sectioned off the top part of her hair and separated it from the back. We used an elastic to secure the back of her hair and just got started now. It'S easy to see the pattern on straight hair, but on curly hair, it's a little bit more of a challenge, so I spray the hair down to allow for that and to also allow for easier manipulation. So we separated by starting with a top piece and we divided it into four, even sections and, as you can see, I'm doing kind of like a figure eight on her hair. So there's that left-hand part. We are going under the second piece and then we're going over the third piece and we're repeating on the opposite side by then switching the pattern and doing an over-and-under pattern. So it's like figure 8 on either side. So we're picking up a section we're going over the second piece and then under the third piece, and then we repeat on the other side now this is a great style, because it's just so easy. I mean it's easy after you get the hang of it. It'S a little tricky at first, but when the kids are outside playing, you want to keep the hair out of the face out of the way. Sometimes it's a little tricky to have those hard head pants because if they get hit in the head, it's gon na hurt. But something like this is sort of like a faux headband for that for the girls and it's a fun cute style too. Just to enjoy and she loves a style - you can kind of make out the ribbon like pattern in the middle and by spraying the hair down. It makes it a little bit easier to see the pattern. If I were to do it on dry hair, it would have been a more of a challenge and also it have been more stressful on her hair, and we don't want that so very easy, very cute, a lot of fun. So now, once you get to the end, you go continue with the same pattern you go over and then you go under continue with that figure-eight on either side and that little piece in the middle. That'S what's creating that ribbon-like pattern and once that little part runs out, we secure it with an elastic and it also adds like. Oh, it's like just a really cute fun braid once it gets down to the bottom here, so we're going to add an elastic and then secure it, and this can be worn, so many different ways. You can pin it back and do a little ponytail. You can have the back out either way: it's fun. It'S cute, the kids will love it. It'S great for all different occasions, and I hope you guys give this style a try again. It may take a few tries, but the great thing is that it doesn't have to be perfect.
