I Tried Different Curly Hairstyles For A Week | Shelltober Day 1

What'S good, what's good, what's poppin y'all, it's your girl girl back at it again with another video. I believe it was like. Two weeks ago i saw addy's video, i'm gon na put her here. This is her second one that she made where she tried a different hairstyle for every day of the week, and i literally watched the whole thing: it's like an hour and something long every time she does it, and i literally watch the whole thing like it's. It'S so how do you say like appealing to i? I guess her content is just a one. I asked her if i could do the same type of video but, like you know like my way basically and she was like yeah and i was like and she was like can't wait and i was like i've got you girl, so here i am making that Video and i'm hella excited on taylor right now, get your popcorn honey, get your chips, get your cookies and let's ride this wave, it's gon na be a long, fun video and i really hope you guys like it. Hopefully, this could be an actual thing that i keep up with on my channel if you're new here, you don't know what to do, go ahead and subscribe, join the team join the fam, we're getting pretty big, pretty fast could not be any happier. Now, okay, we're getting this on and popping so, let's get into the video. So basically, as i already mentioned, i'm going to be trying a different hairstyle for every day of the week. I'M doing the slicing. Oh, my gosh, okay, so i had it out, but i'm just like. Oh i'm gon na try something else. Okay, so since my hair is down right now - and it kind of looks - you know, of course, i got ta polish it, but it kind of looks good down is big um, it looks dry, but it's not that dry. To be honest, this is like week two hair, so it is expected to look like this and it's a little humid in florida right now, because it's been raining like so much so, but i'm kind of proud of her, because i thought that by now i would Need to put it up but she's showing out so today's hairstyle is going to be this, and i have my rubber bands we're going to be doing several rubber band hairstyles. I got my comb and my to leo ig this right here y'all. This is the truth. Okay, when you're curling your ends after you do like a twist out or whatever, or put some twists in your hair or some braids per se when you're curling your ends. This is what's gon na make it pop okay, you heard it here. First, you can get it at sally's at the beauty supply store, i think, oh target. I think, has it too, but don't quote me, but i usually get it from my beauty, supply, store or sally's. Okay, so once again, taylor yg the curly curl cream. Yes ma'am. Yes ma'am: this is how the ends of my hair be so coiled with my mini twists. So get you some with this hairstyle. It looks like she had a wash and go, but my hair is a mini. It'S an old mini twist out. So that's what we're going to be working with today, i'm kind of nervous, so she basically took six sections in the front. So it'll be like one two, three four five six and then she just put them all together. So that's what we're going to do and since i'm wearing pink today, i'm going to use some pink bands. These are hot pink, but you know it'll still go. So that's what we're going to do. Oh, my gosh, i'm sorry face okay, let's get into it, so she parted okay. This part, this was already pre-parted from when i was doing my mini swisses, but clearly i'm gon na have to clean it up. Okay, let me bring you guys. A little closer. Hey, hey girl, all right, so let's make a part right here like a cleaner part. Okay, that's good! For starters, not too bad! We have our parts. Okay, i should probably clean the middle part up. So, let's do that and now we're gon na do the same thing on the other side, all right now we have our two or two parts. I look now we got ta split it in half this way, so we could break them into threes. I want to make the parts as clean as possible, because front is gon na show more, and my scalp is a little dry. I kind of got ta put some oil in it later make sure you, oil, your scalp, like every two to three days because growth, especially with castor oil, that's really like after genetics. That'S, i feel like that's really what grew my hair up. Okay, that part looks clean. Nice doable. Okay, now we're gon na put this back section away until it's time to use her all right all right, so she made it into three parts in the front and the front part like the middle triangle. The middle part was kind of like a triangle type of shape, so we're going to try to achieve that. Um, let's clean this side up a little more, i think that's a little better! Oh my gosh! I did it okay! First, let's put this away. So i'm going to start by putting like a little bit of the talia yg green at the at the root, and i already bought another one. I'M just finishing this one up. First, that's what it looks like okay! So now we're gon na go in with the bands. I don't know what material that is exactly, but i think i prefer the rubber ones, because i feel like they'll hold my hair better, but these are the only ones that i could really find. So i just can't wait to see what they look like in my hair and y'all right after this we're going to moisturize my scalp, because now this is this. Is the skittle okay? Wait, wait! Wait! Do i forget how to put bands in my hair hasn't been that long? No, my hair is too thick to be playing games like this bro like oh, it just feels too thick for hairstyles. Like this, i need some heavy duty bands, because these baby little things are just not cutting it right. Now, i'm barely getting around my hair, or maybe me i'm struggling right now, all right. It'S not bad! I'M gon na redo this so that the placement could be further back like this one. Okay, so we're getting somewhere, we get somewhere, okay, okay! Now i'm getting excited all right, holler at your girl. I still have to redo this, though, because it's just it's not placed with everybody else, and we don't really like that. So let me go buy some scissors and i'll be back. So i'm back, and these are the scissors that i have. If you remember these scissors, you an og, and if you don't it's okay, you can still be an og. It'S from my trimming, my natural hair video - usually it's only for trimming hair, but these are i needed to find the smaller, the smallest scissors that i can so you know cut my hair in the process of cutting this band out. Don'T you hate when you're doing something and other hairs when they get in your business like bro, chill out, we have the first row complete and now we're gon na. Do the back, i'm gon na tie it back with no tie. How got it so we're going to do the same thing for the middle, only different a band broke already. You see. This is exactly what i'm talking about the rubber ones or whatever i'm gon na cut this part sticking out out, because we don't need them to know that the band is broken. Okay, so snip that looks better okay, it doesn't look too bad. Does it? I feel like a little school girl. My scalp is aching already. So that goes to show that i might not go to sleep with this tonight because my head is already hurting, hey, say: hey hi, so first we're going to go to best buy like i already told you guys and i'm kind of hungry, and i kind of Want some fries, yes and i'm kind of in the mood for a smoothie from planet smoothie uh-huh, so i just might go there. Um chick-fil-a yeah we're going to chick-fil-a. Yes, you have money, get in losers. We'Re going to chick-fil-a. Here we go here, goes the textbox! Okay, yes, sir, the little ponytail keeps going over the band, so i got ta keep pushing him back. I have a name for the order shelly and then you can cash your card today card. Huh, okay, hey, okay, so since best buy was closed, they're really playing music. Oh my gosh. I hope i don't get copyrighted but since best buy was closed, i'm here at target to see if i can find an sd card. Hopefully they have one for like the price that best buy, has them for because we know by the time 50 dollars on a 180 gigabyte sd card. We'Re not going to do that. Do you see a red dot and it's flashing? I want one of these so bad, so if one of you want to send me some birthday gifts, i greatly appreciate it. Sd cards are this way come on this way? Okay, so we have the 64 gigabyte over here over here uh-huh, but i'm thinking 128, because i'm making longer videos because you know um, it is sheltover. You feel me. We must act accordingly, uh-huh. So i think i'm gon na have to end up getting the 128. um. It is 30, but that's a-okay, because um content gaby. Why is my head cut off? Oh sorry, okay, you're learning, so i can't get mad but you're learning, okay. Okay, now my whole head and my hair, it needs to be in the frame all right, you're, this close to getting fired, make one more mistake and you're out of the game. I'M sorry all right, all right! Okay, all right now we have the 128 over here. For 30 right, this is the one with the micro usb get into it. Okay, so now we have the regular one, which is the one that i have at home, but it's 44. 43.99. No we're gon na have to get this one like what's the point, what's the point, i'm spending more money for this one, just in case just because it has the whole like full package. Micro usbs are sometimes better anyway, because if they break i'm not because if these breaks you're shoot for the micro usb, you could take it out and put it into another adapter. Okay, honey get into it, content, creating one on one and all right now. What'S next? No candy, no a new effort for me anyways. That'S all folks! The time has come for me to pop these bands out, because i want to lay down i'm kind of sleepy. Let'S go pop. Some bands get it like okay, but i have my flashlight on so i can make this outro goodnight love you. So it's day two and today's hairstyle is going to be um. You see, i had like two things in mind: it's either. I do like. Oh, a little scarf look like this, or i think i'm gon na have to save the scarf look for a slick back, don't look cute, but i kind of want to do bands because i already picked out a shirt that i'm going to wear it with. I think we're going to save the scarf for maybe not in this video, maybe like a casual video and i just choose to dress up okay. So i'm going to do bands and it's going to be this hairstyle. This one is like a little more complex, but at the same time like, if i could do what i did yesterday, then i could definitely do this, so we're gon na try it. Okay, i put my hair in bands so that it doesn't knot up while i'm sleeping and it doesn't like shrink up to my head. I think i said that to you guys yesterday it kind of just stretches it out and you know, keeps the big fro type of look before i banded it. Last night i used my shea butter as a moisturizer. You know i use shea butter for everything. It'S a heat protectant, it's a moisturizer and moisturizes my skin, my body, you feel me: shea butter is the truth, all right get into it. This is as straight as it's going to get well. The lighting is kind of good right now because it's dry time to band it up. So i went ahead and finished the rest off camera because my sd card was full whatever that means. So i had to clear that out and me - and i were here sorry - you guys missed it, but this is what it looks like. So next we can clearly see you guys can look with me. She put she put this one. She put this one into that. One and that one into this one and then from that to here and from that to there, let's see how this turns out okay, so she swirled it up, twirled it around town, twirled it around down, twirled it around down and put it right here. I just don't like how this is lifting. I don't like the way that looks. I think i should make it tighter that looks better. Okay, then bring it right here, i'm tired! So should i use yeah, i'm gon na use green once again and then oh, oh hmm. I did because i hurt myself it's okay, gabby yo. That will really hurt so it loosened up. Can i do something about it? Probably not, but that's lame, because hers are really tight. Why are all these hairstyles taking me like 40 minutes to do, and it's supposed to be quick and easy. I'M scared to put it back in my mouth honestly a for effort, okay, because um. This is what it looks like my biggest issue is that this you know like the two bands are showing you would rather want them to be once like it looks more uniform, but it's not the case, and i think this one broke but whatever, but i'm feeling Very much you know hawaii very much um island, very much right. So i had a change in something more comfortable. This is basically what i had on when i started day two, so i'm planning the rest of sheltober. We got some pretty lit videos coming, and i really hope that you guys enjoy it. It'S like a tiny bit. Tiny bit tiny bit um overwhelming, and it's just like. I really put a whole lot of hard work into my content and i'm such a perfectionist, and i learned that it's better to be consistent than to be um perfect. You know so, and i know that some of you guys, especially like a whole lot of you - have been clocking me for it, but i have not been as consistent as we both would want me to be so, especially now. That'S why i kind of put that's one of the reasons that i wanted to do shouts over, because it's like a challenge to challenge myself like to let myself know to show myself per se that i could do it. So it's a challenge that i'm ready to take on, because i owe it to you guys - and i owe it to myself - to really prove myself and show myself and others that i can do this. So your girl is planning. Let me show you my little setup. So there's my desk and we're writing stuff out. I have my ipad just full of notes and stuff. Just watch me plan and that's all the planning that we're doing for the night. I filled out my whole entire calendar. I'M gon na have to blur it out, but i filled out my whole calendar with all the video ideas i have for you guys and i'm pretty excited i'm back and um. I kind of skipped the day of my video. A lot of y'all might be going a lot of y'all. Don'T clown me, don't tell me, listen, listen, listen! Listen! I had a very important thing to do. I had to drive all the way to melbourne cocoa beach. Whatever you want to call it. I got. Ta drive over there to prank ollie early in the morning, i'm talking like eight o'clock in the morning right, so i had to do all of that before he woke up, and i did my hair like this - it was all cool. It was all dandy. It was sweet. I was like okay when i get back home, i'm going to film and you know, do another hairstyle i got home and i crashed and i crashed the car like i crashed. I went to sleep so today. I'M gon na get y'all right with a morning hairstyle an afternoon hairstyle morning, hairstyle because it's today's saturday and i go to church on saturdays. So i'm going to do a hairstyle to go to church early this morning and afternoon, i'm going to switch it up because i always like to switch it up. You feel me i'm going to switch it up. I am going skating for our guitarist's birthday and i'm super excited because i haven't been skating in a hot minute and um. I feel like. I haven't really done anything fun like that in a hot minute. You know quarantine and this and that whatever here's all that i'm doing and it's two buns with two curly strands coming down to her face - i'm gon na need four bands to do some criss-crossing motion. So let's get into that okay, so the two pieces coming down. They look like a square, so that's what we're gon na do all right. So we got that first square. Now, let's do the second one omg, i'm right handed. So how do i do this um, okay, i'm kind of freaking out? Is it both straight because i can't really tell this is as good as gon na get okay, so she puts them in rubber bands. So what miss lady does is what we're gon na do. Let me boil everything else. You already know i like to take two bands, because one band, my hair will eat it up. Okay, so we have our two little strands coming down in the front. I think that i'm going to twist it instead of putting gel in the front and like curling it around my finger, but we're gon na see for right now, i'm gon na twist it up look how cute that looks and imagine if i want to put some Beads at the bottom, so now we're gon na. Do the crisscross the zagging? Oh oh! This is gon na bother me all day. I could just tell it's gon na bother me but yeah we're gon na. Do the crisscross zagging zigzagging whatever and yeah, let's get into it, i'm tired! Now we're going to put this one into that one and that one into that one. So now i'm gon na go ahead and put it in pigtails. I think this is my favorite style out of all of them. To be honest, i finally got some class. I finally found them because i know i had them, but i just didn't know where they were okay. So honestly, i feel like i should have. Did this hairstyle last because she's cute like and i'm glad i put it in twist and instead of like just finger coiling it because i don't know, i feel like it fits me better so now i never but believe it or not. I never really did like a top knot before and today we're going to try it. It'S going to be my second hairstyle for the day, and it looks like this and that's what we're doing for the day. Hopefully it goes right, hopefully so i'm gon na start. Oh, my goodness, i just this sounds so cute. I really wish i didn't last or go skating like this. Like imagine me in, like some jeans, my little skating a little outfit like some atl type thing, and if you know, if you saw the movie atl, you know what i'm talking about and i'm just like skating with lollipop. Let'S go ahead and cut these bands out this morning. I didn't really get to vlog that much because i literally just went to church came home eight. I tried to go to sleep, but my dad woke me up. If i am not in the house like either bothering him like playing with him or making noise or singing loudly like, i do he's uneasy if i'm not home, if i'm coming home with a leader he's uneasy, you know, like he's one of those dads that just Always want their daughter around. I can't even sleep. Take a nap 10 minutes. 15 minutes without him. Bothering me, you know you need to focus. Sorry. Is that my jaden bear hey guys, say: hey it's your boy, abel go! I really hope that's what they're called these little things took them all out, and this is what we are looking like. She'S big she's dry, so we have our spray bottle to help us do the top knot. Um, i'm gon na do the top knot, but i'm also going to add some. You know some salt, some seasonings in my culture we call it epis yeah, i'm going to add some iffy some maggie to the top. Not i just want to add some like jewels and stuff like that um like pinned hairpins, that's what i'm going to add to it. So, let's see, if i have what it takes, i was watching a video where she put the top knot all the way at the top, and then she took another like hair tie and put it like tied it right here and then put another hair tie to Like close it all up, so it was like really tall and i'm just going to show you guys i legit have to like. I have to pull and tug. I have to pull and tug on it, so i can make it go in the direction that i want it to go so right now we look like um super saiyan. You know all right and i'm going to take my spray bottle. It'S so cold! Oh, my god, so i have this long, um hair tie. I just put it in two, because that's the only way that this is gon na work. We want the hair tie to sit like right here so that the rest of the hair could fall down over it. But oh, no, your favorite choice of gel may be eco. It may be um jam, it may be. What'S the new one that came out a style factor, i think mine is this - gives you some i'm going to let this sit for about 10 to 15 minutes and then we're going to accessorize and then take pictures and then yada yada? So my edges are all laid, and this is what it looks like no, but now it's time to accessorize. So literally when i was telling you guys i wanted to accessorize and this, and that i had like about four to five pin four two four yeah. I have four pins, but now i bought these about. I want to say yesterday morning, it's like yesterday morning the day before, and they literally just got here and i'm so excited, and i just cannot wait to wear them. I got them off of amazon and i'll definitely leave the link down in the description box because i know y'all asked oh jeez, i'm just obsessed with the pearls like so obsessed. Okay.
