What'S up guys, it's marty bluntz and today we have a mid fade with the curly top before we go further on with the video. If you haven't already, please make sure to like subscribe and turn on those post notifications on, so you can stay up to date with the channel now. The first step is to always section and clip to have a clean, workable canvas using the number two guard open. Debug, the hair, all around with your preferred trimmer, make a baseline contour to the client head. Remember that this will shape the entire haircut. You now want to use a clipper with the lever open and make a half inch guideline. This guideline is the most important. So if you can clean it up, nice and neat you pretty much set yourself up for a blurry fade, close up the lever fully and hit it halfway. As you go up, keep opening up the lever, so okay now grab the one and a half and make a four inch guideline. If you happen to be wondering where i get these guards visit, my website martyblends.com using the half guard halfway open, go ahead and create a half inch guideline open up the lever and hit it about a quarter inch above next slap on the number one and play Around with the lever always start with the lever open and then close it up in the dark areas, always detail and know that the more you use your corners, the cleaner, the fade don't be afraid to go up if you have to. Finally, with your lever, no guard hit and play around with your corners to remove the final line at the very bottom so on here, i just used a little clipper over comb to reduce the flares from the dark areas. I always suggest to do this step first, but to be honest, you can do it before or after just grab your trimmer and debulk. The excess hair for a cleaner look shave, the bottom stubble with your shavers fading. The beard is fairly simple and can be done with the same numbers. You use to fade line up and don't forget to stretch the skin when using a razor. Now, on the top moisten and section, what could potentially flap out to the sides, scissor work and be careful not to cut in too much for those who always tune in you know how i love using diffusers on curls.
