Hey cam fam welcome back to our channel, so this week's video is actually going to be our go-to after wash day, hairstyle um. This is what i put in kim's hair. If i know that we're not really going anywhere, if we're not doing our hair for like an event or something and we're just gon na be home for a good couple of days, i put this in as a good protective style just to keep his hair out Of his face, keep it moisturized and all that good stuff before we get into this video, i just want to say thank you so much for tuning in to our channel and to our videos. If you have not already, could you please hit that subscribe button down below also hit that bell icon that way, you're notified whenever we put out our new videos, which will be weekly wednesdays, also thumbs up this video? If you like it, please share this video with your family and friends and as well hit us up in the comment section below we love to hear from you guys. Let us know if you like our wash day, um hairstyle. Let us know what your wash day: hairstyle is all right now getting into this style. You can see that i've already parted his hair into two and i'm gon na further part the back into another two and i'm gon na, do that in the front as well. So, in total this style is going to have four sections um. I did not just wash his hair before this video, so i am going to be using my spray bottle just to add the moisture back because, like i said this is our after wash day hairstyle. So the hair is usually wet. Now, i'm going to add my shea moisture kids curling buttercream to each section making sure that i work it in to the ends and to the roots um. This way we can just make sure that we're getting all the definition all the moisture into the hair as we braid it and put it away to help with protecting the ends. While it's in this style, can we talk about definition? Look at these curls guys. It looks so moisturized so rich and just curly. It'S amazing. I love this product, it hydrates the hair and the curls so well. It does cost a little bit more than the other brands, but it's definitely worth the price all right. So we're going to go ahead and plat this section just braiding it down like a normal braid, i'm going to split that section into three: i'm going to have a part on the right, a part on the middle and a part on the left. So i'm gon na take that right side and i'm going to put it underneath the middle and then i'm going to put it over top the left. I know it sounds a little tricky. It sounds really weird to explain, but if you guys have a look at what i'm doing in the video, it might make my words sound a little bit easier to understand. Um, take it a step at a time you're just crossing over and under um the right and the left side, and it's gon na be going either over or under the middle section, and you just do that all the way down if you're not too familiar with This, if you're not too comfortable with it, just take it one step at a time, go slowly. Sometimes you may have to go back. Take it out redo it again, but it's easy to understand it's easy and once you get it you're going to be a pro you're just going to be whizzing through it like it's nothing. So i go ahead and use the comb to just add a little curl to the tip once i'm done putting the elastic, but you can also do this with your finger, whatever you feel comfortable with, so i went and did the other side at the back. So i had that on the left and the right. Also when i was parting, the back. You saw that i traced it starting from the top without really parting it, and i'm only doing that now. But that way you just know where the middle of the hair lines up. So when you are going to do the front they all line up and are parted together granted, if you want, you can just part it all from the beginning at one time that way, you don't have to do it separately, but it was just easier for me To do the back section first and then do the front section after, if you guys don't have a spray bottle, i highly suggest that you get one. It makes doing their hairstyles so much easier. Sometimes you just need to do a little refresher. Sometimes you don't have the time to wash the hair completely or you had it in a ponytail for two days after washing it, and it's not time to wash it, but you need to do something with it. So my number one accessory when doing hair would definitely be the spray bottle. It comes in handy, it's so useful and it's inexpensive so definitely get yourselves one. If you do not have one already. I don't know what our hairstyles would be without this on our perimeter, but yes, our curly kids makes kids hair care, frizz control paste. I always say the whole thing. I don't know why it's such a mouthful, but i'm adding that to the front of his hair. Um, like i said, the front of his hair, has like super super tight, coils um, so i like to tame them as much as i can. I don't want to use gel. I don't want to use anything else on his hair, so the frizz control paste is a really good kids hair product that helps keep the hair in place. Keep away the flyaways, keep it flat. Um. You see his waves a little bit there, but yeah. It definitely does its job and it hasn't hurt or damaged his hair in any way. So i love this product, so in the front i'm actually using double elastics um. I just find it a little bit more secure. You can do it all around like in the back and in the front as well or you can just do it in the front. Whatever um you prefer, but just remember when you're taking them out that it's two and it's not one. So you don't want to like try and take out one at a time and it's kind of pulling on their hair. So just keep that in mind when you are taking them out, but i definitely do suggest doing double in the front, especially if the section of hair is more than it is in the back, as you guys can see today, i have cam with his tablet um. I just knew that it would be a lot easier if i had him looking down to get to the back of his hair instead of him looking upwards at the tv, so he is on his youtube. Kids app! It'S like the only thing i let him watch on there. He doesn't use the regular youtube app with this app. It allows me to adjust the settings so right now. I have it at videos for uh children age, one to four. So that's all he sees he's not seeing anything more advanced than that, nothing that he doesn't really need to be into right now and everything that he is watching is in some way shape or form educational. You know it's helping reinforce the colors, the shapes, the words, the sounds and everything that i teach him anyway. So it's just really adding to the lessons that he's learning already it's giving him another way of going about um, remembering these things, and i think it's actually a really great help in moderation. And would you look at that? We are done yes, this style works up. So quickly guys, i know how frustrating and long a wash day can be already so doing a style afterwards. That'S quick just makes it that much easier. As you can see, we have the hair moisturized. We put the products in olive oil all that good stuff and it's gon na keep it in his hair for a good couple of days until we decide to take it out, and it's just keeping his hair that extra protected, especially with the weather, changing you want To keep their hair done in one way or another, instead of leaving it out to get dry, so we hope you enjoyed this video. We hope you guys try this style out on your little ones. Let us know how it turned out hit us up in that comment. Section thumbs up this video subscribe. If you have not already - and we will see you guys in the next video okay. Thank you so much for tuning in and we'll see you guys next week. Bye, you

Akevia Hose: I absolutely love this for my son! It’s the easiest on us both!

maryj2k1: Hi, just came across your channel and wondering how you maintain moisture after wash day? My son hair is usually dry. Also how often do you do your son hair after putting it in a protective style?

A C: Just a question, why do you braid in the technique that you do? I’m used to pulling the left and right sections o we tip of the middle piece, instead of under like your do. What difference does it make? Also, what shampoo and conditioner do you use?

Dejanay Woods: Hi, how often do you wash his hair? My son has this same curl pattern and I’m trying to get his hair to grow not sure what products to use any suggestions?

Abbey Reed: What kind of rubber bands do you use? My sons hair is just like your son’s in the back, but it is thinner on top. Do you think the style will still work for us with thinner on top? Also, how does it look when you take this style out? Straight to wash day?

Heaven Horn: Hi! What shampoo and conditioner do you use on his hair? My son has like 3 different curl patterns and I’m not sure what to use

Stephanie Marquez: Do you put anything over your sons hair at night or do you redo it again the next day?

Amber Clutter: i just need to know how you get him to stay so still. my son would never

S F: Where can I purchase the frizz control product? Cause I don’t like using gel on my 8 year or 1 year old. They have Mexican hair but I hate using like hair spray or gel on my daughter which I don’t ever use it. Does that product work good

noluvVari: Just curious how do you consider this a protective style if you have rubber bands on the root part of his hair it would be a more protective style with just the braid/plat with just the rubber band at the end of the braid

Rob Brown: Nice
