Yo, what's poppin YouTube? Is king burger coming at you again with another video, and today I'm telling you guys exactly what haircut you should get if you want curly hair, if you want brave, you know the 10 phase, the front tape was as well as wet haircut. I got and we're gon na break it all down in the eight rules for curly hair cut stay tuned. This one I'm gon na show y'all whoever any with this, don't need max me for going before. We start this video. I want to give a special shout out to some of my loyal subscribers madman, ace tae-yong. I hope I'm saying it right and last but not least, my boy Jonathan J, now football man, I appreciate y'all for subscribing watching my videos and all that, if you guys want a chance to be a shout, it out make sure you leave the comment down below. Let'S get to the video, this will check this out alright. So if you're looking for the perfect curly hair, could the perfect braids have could the perfect line of advice? What to tell your barber? The first rule is to always begin with the end in mind. Alright begin with the end of my know, exactly what type of a haircut or what type of hairstyle you want two years from now, if you want that nipsey cornrows with the brace to the back, you probably shouldn't get that back tape, alright, and if you want Those pop smoke breeze almost like I got, I'm saying you probably don't want to get this little Tim favor right here. You probably don't the side, something sort of rule number one make sure you understand learn. I have some type of ideas. What hairstyle you might want? 2 to 3 years from now, because you can't mess yourself up by getting to cut too early and not knowing what you want in the future I boom, so rule number 2, make sure you be extremely careful when you get in that front tape right. If you want that front table, I know you see some guys do right. Some guy was going wrong, be careful, and if you don't know what you're doing do not do this yourself, you will mess your entire head journey up. The first rule to understand is a lot of people get front tapers. Ok, if you don't have any plan of getting twists or braids if you're just walking to curly hair. Look, you probably don't really need a strong front tape at all. But if you want brain address, anything like that understand it, the front table is key to having that sharpness. You don't want to not have a front tape where they keep getting braids because you'll start having, though the Mickey Mouse hair lines, because the braids will be pulling your hair line back in the night. So if we look right here mine, I don't have a very big front, taper all right. My front taper is very small, so if we look right here boom, this is where, like my long hair starts, the Hedison abrade start, and just this little mid bit of hair right here. This is that is where my friend taper. Is it's really not even a front table because it's not faded? A taper basically means it's faded. It'S not paid it's clear part line. I would never be able to get this part in the bridge or we know. Well. I try make sure you guys tell your barbers that you do not want it faded. You want a small, small, small, small small area. Just so, you can get a sharp line up a place where you've not want to be braided all right, make sure you let them know that you do not want a big gap between your taper or your headline and with your bracelet, you do not want your Braid starting back here and just have all of this just you know you know 360 wheel, you don't want that. You don't want your braid to start back here. So make sure you understand the delicacy of take rule number three: thou shalt get side, tapers all right side tables. Give you all the swag all right, but if you want these pups smoked brains, just understand when you get this side tape, it's gon na. Take you a long time to get these type of brief. I'Ve been growing my house about a year and a half right now so yeah. This is. This is how long is gotten because it has to go. You know if I had this little bit of hair right here, then it would be down here. This part right here would be down here with the rest of my braids, but because I got a taper, you see how high it's hanging right, see that see how high is hanging you can see my taper right gon na do this side safer, gives you a Modern look: it gives a modern look to your braids. You know the only difference between braids now and braids back in 2003 and 2006. It'S this side taper. So there's gon na come a point in time where your side, taper, is no longer gon na, be a fade and I say a fade. It means it's no longer to start light and get thicker as it goes up. It'S gon na come to an abrupt halt. Alright, so right here, my hair is no longer tapered. It'S I don't get tapers anymore. I tell them to cut all of that. Down in the same length is this. It does not fade. It goes straight from Cesar to breathe Cesar to breathe. There is no, the gradual, you know it's not smoothly going into my braids anymore. I'Ve done that for like the first year. You know if you're five months in six months in I definitely advise you still kind of getting some type of taper but understand that when you get your hair faded, you know when you've got. You know just a little bit of hair going up and it gets long as it gets there and you get two strand twists when you get braids and whatnot. You know you're gon na have this little afro thing. You know right on the outside of your braids and if you've gotten two strand twists before and you have a template of any kind, you know exactly what I mean rule number boat, thou shalt get that braids first and thou head cut. Second, at first, I thought you could just do it at any node shape or form of fashion, but you know last week actually the first time. Last week I got my edge up first, you know I had my hair in like the curly afro or my headline was poppin and whatnot, and then I got cornrows and you know when you got braids, it pulls your skin back and it doesn't always pull your Skin back in all the same places all over your head and already got a big voice. So if you got a small for you might not have these problems. So when my braids pulled my flat back evenly, it looks like my hairline is crooked and it messes my whole thing: go you get your braids or your twists or whatever you're getting first, and then you get your line up or your fade or whatever you're gon Na get all right, brace, first edge up SEC rule number five: thou shalt get and undercut for hanging hair. All right. If you want your hair to hang to the sides - and you got that curly hair face - and you just want it to hang a little bit, make sure you go get your undercut or your Mohawk or whatever you want, and it's gon na make your hair. Hang a lot sooner, didn't wit, if you did, I didn't get it undercut at all. I just got at em fate, so it took my hair, probably extra or three or four months to start hanging. Then you know anyone else. So I probably say my head and start hanging until about seven eight months, but somebody who's got an undercut. You know you got an affair, your hair might start hanging. You know get that curly hair droop to the side, look probably about four to five months, but just understand. If you get an undercut, you know you're gon na be really limited when you just rockin, with the top of your head being long. There'S a certain point in time where you know: there's gon na be too much hair to get get into that little ball, and I don't really know how y'all feel about getting the faith with Braves on top in it hanging down. But no, that's that's not a stop. I would want to do you know I'm saying so. If you want to do it, go for it all right rule number six. I thought I'd never see the day where I had to make this known. I have to say this: I thought this was a given. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever get an S. Curl never get an escrow, never get an S Curl. It destroys the natural curl pattern of your hair, not saying that your hair won't be curly, but it's gon na disrupt your curly hair pattern. So you know the regimen that you've been doing for your hair. If you got a s curl, it completely changes your hair. So you have to figure out what to do to your hair again. It changes the DNA of your hair and only bad thing about that is, while the S Curl might change the DNA of your hair. You know S. Curl effect is only gon na last. For so long, so that means your hair's, not only gon na leave the S curl effect, but you still gon na have to do weird things to your hair, to keep it healthy and whatnot and, to be honest with you, is getting the S Curl, that's gon! Na limit how fast your hair grows, it is not in the short run, because it's gon na look like it's gon na grow fast in the short run, because you're gon na have a lot less shrinkage, but in the long run over the span of a year. Your heads gon na grow a lot shorter man because it's gon na be a lot more fragile and that's just not something that you want for your hair, not to mention it might look kinda, I'm not calling your name, but it might look a little lame for You to have you know an afro. You know with a little courage one day and to come back the next day. With this super s, curl, looking hair, like I've, seen those people where it's like broke, you didn't deep condition. You ain't putting that curly hair work like you were supposed to you, went and got that s curl out of Walmart, I sent you, you got that cheap, looking stuff yeah! You don't want that. You don't want that. Alright and also a perm do not get a perm. I know I made a video while talking about how I lost a bit and that I got a perm, but I didn't really get a perm. I actually just got my hair straight alright. That means I just got the girl to blow-dry it and she just put a flat iron on it and played my hair. You guys can look at my Instagram. Let'S go King boobs. You want to see it. How, literally the next day I got in the shower, and I got my curls back because I would be Perdition - I put the curly cream in there. However, if you perm your hair perm, your hair is like the ads chemicals tool. So it's a lot like an escrow anything that you put on your hair that burns just scout after certain period of time. You probably shouldn't have it on your scalp anyway, alright, just to be honest with you and rule number, seven all right! This is one of the most important rules. Man, it just goes with you know, being a hygienic person happy having everything together. Looking like you got yourself together, looking like you've cared anymore leave it up. If you have a baby, if you ever undercut, if you have a front table for garlic, regardless of what it is brush your hair, alright, if you do not have braids in that spot, you need to brush this part. Don'T get this tip, they don't get an undercut and not brush it. I'M tired of seeing y'all with these fire curls or these fire twists or all your braids up top and then right here on the bottom. You got book shots in the BB shots because you're not brushing your hair understanding if you're not gon na, have long hair over your head. If you're gon na have it like this, you need to be brushing that part alright. So for this small portion of my hair, I'm a 360 wave right hitting boom strokes, strokes boom, I'm bursting that little boy and I even got like a little brush to kind of help me out, but maybe show you guys a burst in that part of your Head man, that's ultra poor, I'm tired, I'm tired of seeing people that got buck shots. To be honest with you and I'm saying how y'all feeling about the new look. You know I'm saying I'm trying to grow my beard out a little bit. That'S what I'm looking like a caveman. I have real fruit. I'M sound trying to see how far I can get it low-key. I might let it grow for like another week, cut it and then grow back see is going, but you know I don't know if you like. I look with the bigger I'm saying: no, no homo! No, no I'm saying none of that stuff. You got watching him saying if your girl watching go ahead, but if your guy's a normal butt, would you think you know sanjaya brake job? Keep it going see if I can try to get the beard and try to do the braids with the beard look. Well, should I keep it how I normally begin to just get that right now do one thing I'm saying: let me know down in the comments. I'M also you guys if you're watching this far congratulations. chroliri: Do u have a taper at the back

Mister Bel: I used an S Curl in like 4 years ago. I should have gotten rid of most the chemicals since I would trim the top off frequently because of how dry and straight some of the stands looked. You can def bounce back if you were uneducated and used an S Curl. I finessed and have some really nice curly hair now.

Brandon P: Videos that PROPERLY assist black men in their “hair journey” are hard to come by up here. Thanks for the help you have provided me.

Saje: How do you get your front taper without getting your hair cut before your braids?....do you ask the braider to leave the front?

Isaiah Day: What would you do to the back of your hair with this look? Would you still taper the back of your hair along with the side taper?

ST: Don’t get side tapers people cause when it grows back the hair and your hair is braided it will look stupid and you will have to keep spending money for a taper fade along with your braids re done better of just braiding all around

samuel Ndabu: Hey kingbril. My hair keeps knotting up in different places and turning into really thick Congo’s/ free form type dreads like strands bunched together. So it’s half of that and half curly .. I’m pretty sure it has to do with my hair type(4b/4b) I was wondering if you knew a way or products to help eliminate that so I can have the curly hair pattern and look that I had before and want

Busaio: wolf

Gregory White: Wolf

Edrei Gilbert BKE: Yo King Bril I got my hair texturized 2 months ago and I wasn’t sure what it was at the time cause I was new to all the curling stuff but I’ve been told that I’ve conditioned and trained my hair really well so my hair hasn’t damaged so do you think your steps would still help my hair ?

Simply Tomas: The Collection: Glad I found your channel, man. Great content! I"m starting my hair growth journey again.

dirtydave2712: I've gotta let you know; every video I watch I learn something new. Keep up the amazing channel King Bril

Cameron McClain: He giving all the free game. I had braids with the drop fade and had that little mini afro on the side and back because I was getting tapers and I also got my haircut before getting it braided. I ended up cutting it because the new growth looked wild with the fade and now im growing it back with just my sides tapered.

Lil Howie: So I'm new to your channel and I've been watching your videos for a good hour and a half and I had a couple of questions. So I never really had long hair but I decided that I would start on my journey toward basically your length. So sadly I didn't get to your video before the barbershop but luckily I got the right taper fade but when I watched this video and you talked about if you wanted braids and twists (which is the goal) I should get a front taper but should I get the front taper and grow it out from there or should I gro my hair first and then get the front taper. My hair is probably like half an inch and I've been growing from basic baldness for about a month and a half. So I just wanted to know what you think I should be doing. Much respect, your videos are great and yo channel even better.

Brian Laureus: So I'm new to braids and twists and I'd like to get some cornrows eventually. Right now I'm rocking some regular box twists,But a issue I've been running into is usually where my fade ends and goes into the major length of my hair, that area ends up being to short to properly twist or braid. So a lot of the time my braider does or tries to do these smaller twists or braids that are usually covered by the larger ones. How can I avoid this issue do I just stop getting fades all together and just let my hair grow out. I Usually I don't get a skin, should I get a skin fade so that there's no hair in that area when they go to braid it kinda like a hair line taper ? Any advice is appreciated.

king khi: Heard the first two tips you were correct I like it. I dont taper my hair anymore. I let the back grow out shit dumb long now. It's my inner top layer of my chest. When I go for tapers I do it near the beard. I hate that fade new the hairline it looks stupid. This video was very informative

Tyrone: I got the haircut first a few months ago and it set my growth back by like six months cuz the barber pushed me back and faded me higher but I’ve been growing it back since may and it’s getting there

Nick B: Bruh plz don't stop making videos. Im starting my curlly hair journey . Story time: My barber miss understood me and faded all my hair low. so I'm starting this journey fresh. also congrats on almost 50k

Fred George: Aye man, fire content, this video GREATLY helped me on achieving the curly look‼️‼️

JønathanENT: my hair was long about 7-8 inches and had amazing curls and then my mom decided to do a s curl which messed my whole hair journey up afterwards my hair was stringy instead of curly/coily, i couldn't style it how i wanted to and it was just a mess i finally cut my hair to about 3 inches or so in November. I've been following your videos and deep conditioning personally made my hair seem longer like it's actually been growing. I've been deep conditioning, putting oil on my scalp, protecting my hair at night and washing with conditioner every week. Do you have any other advice for faster hair growth, and where should i be in 6 months following these tips?

TeddaTv: How long should I wait to get lined up after getting my braids ?

Bryce Nicolas: Yo I appreciate this bro ima need me a front fade now

MikeDaPlug: This gotta be the best and most informative video you've made!

J3 Fitness: My beard grow the same way. I cut it every week-2 weeks to help it grow back and it’s slowly making progress. I say you cut it, and also disconnect the mustache and chin, just to help it grow fuller and give it a cleaner look.

Solo Whitaker: Been following this dude since June of 2019 , he for the culture

Hit Man: This barbers over here don't even know what an undercut is

Bryce Nicolas: Is it possible to switch your hair pattern from? Specifically from box curls to more of a hanging look?

Dontrell Williams: OMG I NEEDED THIS CAUSE THIS IS THE HARDEST PART GETTING THE RIGHT HAIRCUT.....THANKS

Amin Eltayeb: Should I get a lineup before or after I get box braids?

CA Prince: ya'll peep how he described himself at the beginning

RJ: So what if I’m tryna get the tapper in the front for the first time should I twist up before the tapper in the front or get the cut then twist up?????

HeadachyX: Honestly bro my whole family has curly, wavy, straight hair. I’m Colombian and I kinda feel left out and like shit when my family tells my cousins you have nice hair it’s soft. This is why I’m on my curly hair journey. Honestly I just wished I inherited my mothers genes

Chris Rockafella: I want to get modern looking two strand twist, but do I get the undercut and shape-up before or after I get the twist? (All my hair is currently the same length/ not faded)

Elie MT: Do you have to get a taper fade or can you just get a simple shape up after your braids are done

VersatileFinish: Does anyone know how long your hair should be to get samurai knot braids I've been growing my hair out for about 6 months going on 7.

Mugíwara: Yeah I got my inspiration from x for my haircut and it works I still do it to this day. I style it with french braids and or with pop smoke braids or works either or

StayPrayingLebron: Yo I just got the similar Cut to you but for a taper in the back it came out nice nice advice God bless you you also I subbed to

Tim Williams: don’t do anything to your beard, let it be.Once you forget about it the faster it will grow.

ChefZav: Yeah I’m definitely trynna get my front taper like yours

AssassinK1ll3r5: Should I get the front taper before or after I get twists or braids?

Ap 1nabillion: Good video bro! Very detailed!I subbed!

DatL3afN1nja: So many things I was about to start doing wrong, dead ass. Thank you!

Mcree Mcree: Hello I been watching your videos lately and I like your content I currently have waves but I’m about to transition to growing my hair and get waves what tip would you give should I cut my hair and start fresh or keep the hair I already have and go from there my hair is pretty my healthy and I moisturize it every other day the only thing i need help on is how should I start my journey

Donolucci650: I def needed this video . I had Afros my whole life but now I have braids .

YoungRippa17: I had pop smoke braids back in 09 before tapered braids were even a wave I got a mid temp fade right now and my hair long enough to do it but idk if I should

Kameron Wright Tv: The plug for curly hair keep grinding my guy

30 Deuce: Pretty dope having a male explain this.

Charlesischillin: You can get your hair to hang without gettin an undercut if you just cornrow or flat twist the sides

Anthony Smith: I'm not gonna lie I think you're the first Youtuber that I've actually followed since 10k; get the beard you can't go wrong with it.

George Nyangaya: Do I get the front taper before or after I get my braids?

suxkafree 00: Can twist without a front taper damage your hairline?

Dahir Dahir: Should I get the haircut/line up first or get it braided first ?
