Hey, babes! I'm back with a CROCHET SLAY I'll be doing a crochet braids tutorial featuring Outre 3C whirly loop, which mimics natural hair perfectly.This crochet braids with exposed side braids look was inspired by HairDeLaCreme and is the perfect protective style for spring & summer. I didn't use the invisible part method this time around, but it's still !!!

Hey guys, it's Jodi welcome back to my channel so before I get started, make sure you guys subscribe and press that bell when you hit that bell you'll always be notified. I know anything about me. You know that I don't follow rules when it comes to my hair, so I'm always trying different things. I don't do like regular anything, so I came up with this style today. This is not a new style, but I just thought I was switched up a little bit with the crochet braids videos and hair Adela crumb Tommy tagged me in a video. She did a while back about this style, which is some edgy side braids, with your crochet braids, just to jazz it up a little bit the spring and summer is coming and yeah you got to be sly and switch it up for you guys. I was asking about my shirt from Instagram: it's from grass fields. It'S like hell, just a shirt, just a regular long, African print shirt. You guys know I love masculine print, make sure you thumbs up and leave a comment below. Let me know what you want. The next video to be you guys, can vote as well. So I hope you guys enjoy the video for this style, I'm starting with a standard braid pattern. First, I braid the first half of my head straight back. Then I connect them in the back and then using the tail end. I just crochet that in between my braids, so that's nice and secure without sewing anything down, and there you have my straight back braid pattern. I have a couple, so let me know if you guys want to see like the different braid patterns I do for crochet braids, but this one is the most common one and it's the easiest. The hair I'm using this time is the ultra 3c whirly loop and it's in a color 1b. I usually get a number two, that's closest to my natural hair color, but I got a 1b at first I'll, be using 5 packs because, as you guys, cannotice I'm not home, so I'm filming in a hotel room. I had opened the sixth pack, but I forgot it at home, so I used six packs total and this is the crochet loop braid, which means it comes with a rubber band for easier insulation. So this is what the loop looks like up close. You can just expand the loop and it will be easy to crochet, and I love that this is for individual pieces combined because in the back you can just install as is and in the front. If you want to thin it out a little bit or make it look more natural, you can basically break the rubberband. You have four pieces per piece that comes in the pack, so that's awesome. So for the back of my hair, I'm just installing the loops, as is with adequate, spacing you don't want to overcrowd it too much in the back, I would say, probably like half an inch, maybe a quarter inch if you want it really full, but I use The entire loop in the back for that added thickness in the front, not so much so let me tell you guys right now, once your hair is braided down, crocheting is so simple. It'S just basically tying knots all throughout your hair. So, like I said in the front of my hair, once I get to the front, I'm gon na break that rubber band and separate the hair into the four pieces that it came in they're kind of clumped together, and I just separate him super easy. So I'm gon na do that around my hairline, as well as a side that I flipped my hair over on, so just to make it a little more natural. Now we last thing I'm gon na do once I get closer to the side that I want. My braids to be exposed is, I kind of feel around to like how many braids I want to leave out. I was gon na do like a deeper part than what you see at the end, but I decided to leave, I think four braids out, but it all depends on the size of your braids and just your preference. You just want to just feel it out. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable or happy or just until you get the style you desired, so here's the finished. Look when I film this it was about a week after I installed the hair and, as you can see, it accumulates some natural frizz and I love it, love it love it and here's what the middle looks like like I said you can part it any way. You want even with the exposed side braids so yeah. I did minimal cutting with this hair and not a lot, but as you can see, it's just bouncy and just a real natural length. So this hair gets an a-plus for me. Maybe an a-minus because of the frizziness after about three or four weeks - I don't know you might have to cut those ends off, but yeah.
