Hey guys Today, I'm going to be showing you how I transform my Kanekalon Synthetic braids into wet and wavy on a budget., I'm going to start off by setting up a boiling pot of water.. You can either microwave it or put it on a stove to boil as long as it's hot water., The hair comes like this., It's really bushy and thick.. I'M going to start by sectioning off my hair into two sections working with one section at a time. Depending on the size of the waves that you want, will determine the size of the braids that you put in.. I want a loose but slightly tight wave.. So I'm going to make medium sized braids.. If you wanted really loose waves, you could just make large braids., I'm making sure to braid them pretty tight so that the waves are defined. You're, going to continue this process throughout your hair, making little parts. Braid from the root to the tip.. This section is pretty much done., I'm going to move on over to this next section.. Don'T forget to make sure that you're braiding it all the way down to the ends., I'm pretty much done.. I have the hot water in a cup.. I prefer to use the hospital cups because they're deeper and you can tip the hair in deeper.. You'Ll also need a towel. You're, just going to simply take the braids and stick them into the cup., Make sure to saturate most of the hair in the water, so that you're catching every single piece.. I just let that soak for about 20-30 seconds.. You can sort of see the hair start to melt. When I'm taking the water out of the hair. I try to scrunch the hair to make sure that I'm getting all of the water out before I get to the ends. Here you can see. The end is pretty much thinner and more manageable.. I'M going to continue to finish this process towards the back of my head. I've soaked pretty much all of the hair into the hot water.. Now, I'm just going to back through to make sure that I'm getting all of the hot water out. Your hair is still going to be a little bit damp, but that's fine.! This process is just like a normal braid out. You're, going to unravel the braids strand by strand to reduce the frizziness.. Here you can see the definition of the waves.. Now I'm just going to run my finger through it to separate the waves into smaller ones.. I think this method is pretty cool for those of you that are on a budget like I am., Wet and wavy hair can run you between $ 7.99 to $ 10.99.. This hair that I used, I got from my local beauty supply store for about $ 5. For 3 packs., So you can get the same results using materials that you have right at home.. Rayann410: Hey Melissa :) For this video I used the brand: Afrobella. But its basically a Jumbo Braiding Hair. To get a micro braid look try to use a much smaller amout of hair for each braid, with small parts. Goodluck! :) let me know how it turns out, XO

Rayann410: I just put it in a high bun and tied it down with a satin scarf. I refreshed the waves once every 2 weeks by dipping them again when they got frizzy :)
