For today's short hairstyle, I'm gon na be doing a waterfall French braid on my short hair. If you guys like the way it looks, and you want to recreate it, it is super simple keep on watching. So just like with any braid, you need to grab a section first right so for this braid I like to have my hair parted to one side more deeper than the other. Let'S grab our first section. This is basically where you're grabbing your banks from the front. Just like this, I'm gon na divide it into three sections, just like a regular braid. So if you're really great at French braiding, this is going to be a really really easy hairstyle for you, if you're, not so crazy unbraided. This is really simple. I promise you're gon na start, taking the first section, that's closest to your part and we're gon na cross it over the middle section, like so one section over and then taking the farthest section as well, and we're gon na cross over the middle section again without Adding hair whatsoever there we go we're the first initial braid part done now. This is where I start adding hair to the actual braid, and I start off with the farther section right here that I'm holding I'm gon na lay it down and I'm gon na grab. Some hair, with the section just like that, pick it up again, I'm just gon na fix it, I'm gon na bring it over the middle, like so see how the crossed over to the middle. Alright. Holding that you see this section right here. This is where the waterfall braid starts: we're gon na place it down, and I'm gon na pick some hair right next to it. Just like that. We'Re gon na take this section and we're going to add it over the middle and that's where the waterfall bring begins. So once you have the first initial part down like the first waterfall down we're going to continue doing this, so I go back again to the very top portion on my head place it down and grab some hair place it over the middle hold it down. Drop. This bottom section down grab some more hair right next to the section that I just dropped. Take the section: bring it over the middle grab, some hair tuck it over the middle and drop. So you guys get the idea right. You drop. You add hair right next to it. You continue doing this, so just a quick tip on what kind of helps me guide. The waterfall braid is when you make that first initial part in your hair, it kind of helps you guide over to grab hair. So as I'm going around because I'm trying to go all the way around, I grab hair kind of you see how I'm grabbing hair just from the part. So add it to the section and dropping it grabbing hair right next to it, you all right! So once you get to the very front of your head with the entire braid, I'm just going to that front section to the braid over the middle and then drop, and this is where I like to just tie off with enough clear elastic. You can obviously braid it all the way down, but I think it looks prettier when you just tie it off, grab a clear elastic and then we're going to tie this off. And actually I like to grab a little bit of hair from underneath. Where I didn't touch at all, just to kind of let it hang closer to my scalp alright. So when I have the initial waterfall braid and done and complete and tied off, I like to go back in and kind of loosen the braid up a little bit. So it's not like flat down to my height, especially this little front piece right here I like to go back in and kind of pick it up a little bit to give it a little bit more volume. Once I have the desired height and shape, you see the little waterfall pieces that are coming down, I like to go back in and also raise them up slightly. Nothing too crazy, just play around with the hair and just see whatever you like for your preference. Can you hear it you hear that beautiful majestical waterfall cascading down your hair seriously? I can just picture it right now. In my mind, I have a hammock in between trees and I'm just way in there just laying listening to the waterfall go down, and I have this beautiful hairstyle. Oh this waterfall braid. I don't know I'm just out there that does know it's nice, not corny. What are you talking about? That'S like Pinterest goals. Are you guys so there you have it. This is my waterfall braid with short hair. I just slowed the way cascades down to this side. What are your thoughts? I hope you guys liked it.
