First time trying chunky knotless braids with curly ends on my newly natural hair. This style is becoming very popular due to Coi Leray I believe, so thought to give it a go for the first time.

Hello and welcome back to my channel so today i'm going to be trying out another hairstyle. This has kind of been my thing recently. I'Ve just been playing about my hair and trying to find different things i can do so today. I'M going to be trying out this i've seen quite a few girls. Do it and i was like you know what i've got to give that a go, but before i get into the video i know you guys have noticed my beautiful stunning jewelry. I'Ve got these poops earrings with this really stunning pearl, this gorgeous necklace and this bracelet. This is all from a brand called anna louisa. If you guys do watch my videos on the regular, you will know that i'm absolutely obsessed with this brand. They are a luxury jewelry brand, with the most stunning beautifully designed pieces of jewelry. All the drawers use the highest quality metals, so everything i'm wearing today is coated in 14 carats of gold, and let me just tell you, as somebody who never used to care about whether my drawer is real or not. It makes such a difference. My jewelry just shines differently and what's so good about this brand, although it's luxury, although it's high quality, is really really affordable and not just that they really do try their best to be as kind to the environment as possible. Of course, with the amazing quality, these pieces gon na last a very long time, and they even do a 365 day warranty. So, even if you don't like something or in a few months time, you're like this is not looking how i want it to look which it won't. But yes, you can actually reach out to them and they will sort you out, so they are currently doing a mother's day sale, which means you get 15 off all their items, which is absolutely amazing. So that was it. That'S my little ramble about my jewelry and now i'm going to move on into the video where i'm going to try and style up this hair fingers crossed it comes out good um. So the first thing i'm going to do is section my hair into all the individual braids. So i don't want too many plaits i'm going to try and make this as big as possible. The way this mirror is just balancing on books. I'M scared. It'S going to fall, i thought this is gon na, be the easy part, and it really wasn't it took me so long. So what i eventually settled on doing is separating the front out and doing four plaits. I did two plaits at the back in the middle. I'Ve sectioned that into three rows. This row has three braids. The next row also has three braids and then the top row has two fourteen cats all together. I think you want to practice one of them off camera just to not waste time see if i can actually do this, then i'll start showing you on the next one. So now that i'm a pro i'm joking, but now that i'm a little bit better, i'm going to do the front one, i'm using the spectra, serenity, hair. This is meant to be toxic free. I do react to like everything, so i have tried to get hair. That'S not going to give me an allergy action, so it has four bundles in that packet and what i'm doing is i'm splitting each bundle into four okay. So this is like the size i'm using for one plait. Then this i'm going to section into five different pieces. I think i'm actually going to apply some moisturizer to my ends because they're just feeling so coarse. Right now i have been trying this whole no oils. Well, i'm not doing no, but i've been doing a lot less like less oils and less butters, but if i'm being real with you, i think i'm going to stop it now. I just prefer the way my hair feels like this just feels so much nicer, really and truly. What'S the real benefit of not using oils and creams, is it that you save money? If that's the only benefit, then i actually don't care. My hair just feels a lot nicer look. This is oh, come on, so i'm going to start off by spraying my roots, just to make them a bit more easier to work with already feels great, and then i'm using my styling gel styling wax. Shall i say i'm not trying to use too much? Oh, am i meant to do my edges? I don't meant to. Let me do that. Um am i bothered. Am i bothered i'm not really an edge kind of girl anyway, but i am gon na just try and do a little something, and just do like like that. That'S enough for me, that's a little a little style there and i'm just going to pat. Then, when my index finger and thumb of my left hand is touching, then i sneak some hair in so i like pick it up with my index finger and thumb, then keep going, keep planting go around twice. So one two and then i add in another piece because my index finger and thumb are touching again, that's one and then two and we'll add in another one to my index finger and thumb. One two add in another one: i've got one and two and then my index finger and thumb again here and i'm going to add in my last one one and then we've got two and then i'm going to twist my hair around. So i can hold it better and that's not bad, like i've already come to the conclusion that this is not going to be the most iconic looking knee braids, but you know i'm okay with it. So now i'm just adding some gel to those ends just so. They cannot be so visibly sticking out, but by moisturizing my ends, it's not actually as bad as it was at the back. You can see some of the hair is sticking out. It is what it is like. I'M just going to keep going now and i'm going to show you how i'm going to seal off the ends. Okay, i have finally finished um, so now i'm going to do the ends. I want this to be curly just like in the picture, and i also want to cut this because i don't want it to be this long and now i'm kind of worried. I hope i don't ruin it. Oh, do not work. If i put a hair band on it, that will hold it in place, i'm so smart. Sometimes yes, perfect! Yes, okay, so i need hairbands. I should probably do that when i um bendy roll my natural hair, because i find it so hard to keep the bendy roller on now that i have like blunt short ends. I don't know why i've never thought that so i'm wrapping it around my hair, like this, twisting my wrist to make sure the hair twists with it. Then, when i'm at the very end, bend it up hairband to secure that. Well, this hairband thing is the smartest thing i've ever thought of i'm just going to bend this over and almost like a round, and that way it's just completely secure. Okay, i'm just going to do this to the rest of my hair. I'Ve just dipped my hair in hot water and time for the moment of truth, i'm just going to undo these now, please don't be messed up. Oh nice, the perfect little curl! I love that okay, so everyone that is it. I did it. I'M very proud of myself because it was looking like a struggle at one point. I was about to just shut my camera off and call it a day, but i carried on through - and this is it this is the finished result. I absolutely love this hair. I think it looks gorgeous if you guys try this out.
