Hey guys welcome back to my channel. Thank you so much for watching. I just got done, recording my everyday makeup routine. So if you haven't seen that make sure you go check it out, my hair is a little flat because in that video I was wearing my silk scarf around my head. So it's a little flat. I definitely have to wash it soon, but I just wanted to make this video, so you guys want to know how do I go to sleep without ruining my hair in the morning? So I'm gon na tell you when I go to sleep. I always put my hair in a pineapple and what a pineapple is is basically just a loose high ponytail on the top of your head, so I use this scrunchie. This is the type of scrunchie I recommend, because the thinner ones they can leave like indents on your hair increase your hair. So I like this because it holds the hair in place, but it's also really loose. I flip my head upside down, bring all the hair to the top of my head and wrap the scrunchie around my hair just one time so I'll show you. You want to be gentle when you're gathering your curls together, because if you have tighter curls on the bottom, you don't want to stretch them out too much. Don'T brush your hair, don't break your hair! Anything just with your hands smooth your hair to the top of your head, then you're gon na bring your scrunchie around just one time. There you go so, as you can see, it's just a loose pineapple. If you don't know what a pineapple is, this is it my hair is getting longer now, so it's heavier, but my hair was shorter. It would just kind of stick up like that and he was cuter. So this is the first part of what I do. I have two things that I usually wear on my head to sleep. It'S either this satin bonnet definitely looks like a grandma pon it or a silk scarf. I don't remember where I got this bonnet from you could get it anywhere, probably got it from CVS or something any drugstore or a beauty supply store, so I'll start with the bonnet. What I do is I just stuff, my hair into the bonnet so start from the back and then push it inside and that's it. My husband doesn't like this one. I don't know what he's talking about it's adorable right. Can you tell so anyways yeah? I just go to sleep wake up in the morning and gently take it off, so it's stretchable, it's crunches up when it's tighter and you can pull it loose too. However much hair you have so yeah. I like this. It works, although I will say it doesn't work as well as the science scarf, so I prefer to wear a satin scarf to sleep because I feel like it just secures my hair better. I got this one from H & M a long time ago. You can find a sense there's a lot of places, check, Target check your local Beauty Supply Store. If you don't feel like shopping around for a satin scarf, I will leave an Amazon link for you in the description box, so just check there. If you want to order one, so here's how I use my satin scarf, so what I do is I take one side and I'll take the side with the tag and bring it together, diagonally with the opposite side. I take the longest side of the scarf flip. My head upside down and put it on the base of my neck or my hairline. You want to tie it under your hair, okay and then I take the two sides and tie it on the bottom as well. Now you can leave your hair like this. If your hair is really long, sometimes by gently taking my curls and kind of push them in under the flap and then I go to sleep, I find that this is more secure than the bonnet. Sometimes the back part raises up a little bit, but I just sigh in it make sure not to put it too tight, because you could give yourself a headache. I don't put mine too too tight, but just tight enough - that it'll keep my hair in place. So using a satin scarf can help you fight against frizz, while you're sleeping because, if you're a crazy sleeper like me, you turn from side to side to side and that can definitely make your hair frizzy. So another option is you can sleep on a satin pillowcase? I don't have one, but I know you can get them from like Bed Bath & Beyond or Sally's Beauty Supply, so yeah guys. I hope this was helpful. You, if you liked it don't forget to give it a thumbs up share with your Coto friends and if you have any questions, leave it in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe for more videos. Thank you so much, and I will talk to you guys in the next video

Amelia Monroe: Her hair with perfect volume “it’s a lil flat”. Me with nasty flat hair:

Sage: Thank you! I tried other tutorials but they’re mostly for people with medium, straight, and non-frizzy hair, so easy to manage! My hair ended up looking like a tumbleweed. I needed something for long curly hair prone to frizz. I was going crazy. The scarf helped so much!

checkman: I’m trying the pineapple/satin bonnet tonight!! Excited to see how it works. EDIT: I only had it in for about two hours and checked it just to see, ALL jacked up. Kinked/dented. My texture is just too fine

Krysten McGuire: I’m such a crazy sleeper that satin pillow cases didn’t work I’d end up under them. So I bought satin sheets too and I still wear it in a pineapple. Think I’ll do a satin scarf too. Just in case.

Pumpkin Pie: Watched your video 3x ( I loved it so much ). Your video has changed my life, no more having to throw on a dumb hat bc styling usually always takes too long. My curls are SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL after I remove my ( SILK SCARF ) in the morning even on day four WOW !!! I have noticed the greatest cork screw curls EVER, you're my hero sweetie, keep up the good work, big hug's from New York !

April B.: My hair is layered and too short for the pineapple. I sleep on a satin pillowcase made of bridal satin. My friend sells them. Her company is called Neero & Ana. Thanks for the tips!

Victoria Colozzi: Love this! I do have a satin pillowcase but my hair is so long that it doesn't work to keep the frizz away. My boyfriend also refuses to let me wear a bonet to bed lol, but the scarf is so cute! He'll definitely be ok with that (and if not too bad cause good hair is more important than fragile masculinity :P ) ETA: I wrote this comment two years ago and it’s still getting traction lol. Guys, I do what I want for my hair I was joking hes fine with whatever. I do use this scarf trick every night still with much success!

I’m a cook at a hospital and on my days off my hair looks great and healthy but on days I work I put it in a bun and it seems like it really kills my curls. I’ve just recently started really trying to get healthy curls but I don’t know what to do with work!

CC R: I’m glad I found you because your hair texture is almost exactly the same as mine.

Terri Lemanu: This is my curl type but I have 0 curly products and we never have conditioner, so I’m often washing my hair with just water and my hair is more frizz than curl and I’m watching this video dreaming of how my hair will be once I’m able to provide the necessary aid for it

Teodora Popa: I will try tonight the last one . Thank you

Kani Moody: omg yesss I finally found someone with really similar curls to me

Prendha Mendez: I have like 3b/3c hair and I don’t know if you’ve had this happen to you but when I do a pineapple my roots in the morning get all messed up and stretched out and lifted which just messes up my next day hair... any tips to prevent this from happening??

Persephone Black: I get my satin scarves from the thrift store ♡

Doug JR: Gorgeous!

Lynn H: I have extremely frizzy hair with some curls and some waves. I've tried everything to tame it but nothing works for long because I live in Florida with all the humidity and as soon as I walk out of the door the frizz starts. Have any tips for taming frizzy hair in extremely humid weather?
