How To || Big Curly Crochet With Exposed Side Braids - Freetress Gogo Braid || Theadetomi

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, I hope you guys are doing great so for this hairstyle, I'm starting off with freshly washed hair, and you don't have to do this part, but I'm just going to section off a portion of my hair for a little Bit of a design, I don't want a full head of hair for this style, so that's just what I'm doing right now, so just wan na make sure your lines are neat, and you know if you need help with this, try to get somebody to do it. For you, but it should be pretty simple if you know how to break to your scalp, so I'm just going to start off with my design and just braid, my hair, so you can just come up with any design that you like. It really just depends on what you're used to and what you like. So I'm just doing something that I remember from high school and I pretty like pretty much and I'm pretty much like the style throughout high school. So I'm just recreating it on this I mean on my head not on this anything, I'm recreating it so just try to come up with any design that you like, but you can look at mine for inspiration. Please do what you like honestly and it should turn out fine, so this was the design I came up with it's pretty simple. It shouldn't be that hard to do. I like it, so you want to go ahead and start creating your braid pattern. So I'm just gon na braid everything back, some of them are gon na connect, and some of them are not. It just really depends on like how much space I have on my head, so you just want to braid all of it back and I'm gon na show you my braid pattern for this style. I did a braid at the bottom, just so that when I put it up in a ponytail, it won't be like super visible that they're a bunch of lines there, especially because we're not using like braided hair, we're using just regular Kanekalon hair that you could like Braid yourself, so you don't want the back to show too much or you don't want. You want the back to look as natural as possible, even army. It doesn't look natural, but you know insane. So this is the hair. I'M using I'm using the free dress, go. Go grade, this is the twelfth inch one. I really wanted a curly hairstyle since I haven't done a curly hairstyle in a while. So I thought, okay, why not try doing it with some bulk hair and practice my crocheting skills? So this is what the hair looks. Like it is curly very curly, some of the bits are hard in there, so you have to be really careful about separating it and everything, but it turned out into a really nice curl, as you will see at the end of this video, so I'm gon na Show you what I do so I take a really small amount or a really thin amount of hair. I don't use a lot just so that the curls can believe be full and individual. I guess and bouncy I don't want like fake curls, because you know how the curl can, if you put like a lot of hair together and can turn out into like one big girl. Okay, I don't know how to explain what I'm saying but yeah. So basically, what I do is I put the hook. I mean there are a lot of crochet videos on how to crochet, but I put the hook under the braid and then I put the hair in the hook and then slide it back under the braid and and I knot it back and forth about four times. I think I did four times for every little piece of hair that I did so three or four times. I think this one I did three and then I just knot it in place again, like tie like a regular knot and that just helps it to be secure and it won't come out. So I just did that all over my hair, it's pretty simple. It'S pretty repetitive, it took me a long time, though it took me about 13 hours, I'll say maybe 13 hours is pushing it. It took me about nine hours. Okay, it took me about nine hours to complete this hairstyle. It took a long time it's not as quick as you might think. It is, I feel like if you use more hair it'll be faster, but it's more likely to uh, not if you use thicker amounts of hair. So this is what the hair it looked like when I was done. It was really really pretty. I loved how it turned out and the older it got the nicer looked so this is it fresh Sunday morning when I finally got done with it. I had to wake up in the morning again to finish it, and this is what it looked like, and the good thing is that you can also put it on a ponytail. It was really cute when I put it up in a ponytail, so this clip I'm showing you is just how it looked a week and a half later. It looked so much better and it got so much bigger and it was really really pretty. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
