Hey guys welcome to my channel nothing but me, and I'm doing this video to show you guys how I am able to keep my edges in here. Aligned looking nice and fresh had these box berries in for about four weeks, but it was my first time ever. Braiding my hair and I wasn't able to really grip the root. The way I wanted to so my braids started to really loosen up quickly, so stay tuned. If you want to see how I'm able to keep my box breeze, looking fresh and edges nice and laid thanks for watching and make sure you give this video a thumbs up and subscribe, so I'm going to show you guys how I took this to this and About 10 minutes, so, as you can see, I'm starting off with a really frizzy hair, and it looks as if I had these birds in for like three months but like I said it was my first time braiding. So I wasn't able to really grip my hair. So it got really loose and frizzy fat, so the first thing I do is take some water and apple cider, vinegar and I spray it on my scalp to give it a nice Clint. I already did that off-camera so right now, I'm just moisturizing with water. I'M sectioning off the part that I'm going to be requesting and I'm only doing the front perimeter. That'S why it takes me about two minutes or less and I'm going to pull my hair up into a ponytail. But you won't see the middle anyway. Now we're just applying some coconut oil to moisturize my scalp and it also helped change the frizz. So I'm going to be using a lot of body's falling milk and this product is really thick and creamy, and I take that and apply it to the hair. That is now left out the natural hair up top and I begin to gently twist it going backwards. The more you twist, the tighter the braid will get to your scalp so make sure you're twisting gently because you don't want to break off your edges. So, as you can see, it's not as loose anymore, and you just take that and you want to clip it away to make sure that the twist holds and doesn't unravel. So then you just go ahead and start with the next one and you do the exact same thing. You apply the Staller to the natural hair that is nailed ooh and you twist it going back gently and you will feel when it's tight. You just clip it away and we're just three braids. Then you can start to see the difference. So when your edges come out of the braid completely it's okay, all you have to do is take it and twist it with the braid that already has hair with it and do the exact same method just take it and twist it into the braid, but just Be mindful to be gentle, so I'm just going to continue to apply the following milk and twist my hair, all along the perimeter and pin it back. I will usually tie my hair down with a scarf so that my hair can lay nice and flat. However, I don't have time so I'm just going to take the clips out and pull my hair into a high ponytail

Tarae McDonald: Thanks for the tip! I have a week to go before I take down my braids and let my natural hair rest but don't want to look a hot mess in the meantime. Use a TON of conditioning cream when you take your braids down and you'll have little fall out, plus it helps break down product build up and loosens knots and kinks.

I have a twa.some of the braids slipped out as well. This wouldn't work for the long term. Because of hair dreading and breaking. I'll just rebraid my perimeter.
