Please don't hit my phone if anybody knows hi beauties and welcome to my channel. So as you can see, I've sectioned my hair off into four sections and I've already gone ahead and prepped my hair to go ahead and get it ready. For you know the braids and the blow-drying, and all of that so I started off by doing a pre-poo and a scalp massage and if you've been on my channel for a while, then you know that I am a huge advocate for scalp massages. I just really feel like it: aids in helping your hair grow and promoting a healthy scalp, and then, of course, I went in with my as I am long and look strengthening shampoo, and this is one of my favorites y'all. I love that shampoo, so much and of course, an oldie but goodie the Aussie mega moist. I used to go ahead and conditioned and detangle with you know, basics and then last but not least, I of course finished up with a good, deep condition for about 30 minutes or so, and I like to sit under some added heat or steam to kind of Open up those hair follicles and get the most out of my deep conditioner. So when it comes to blow-drying, I love using this little blow drying comb attachment that I picked up from Sally's and as far as my hair I like to work on damp hair. So you don't want it to be soaking wet because then you'll have to pass over it way too many times it can cause heat damage and we don't want it to dry, because then it's not going to stretch properly. So what I'm doing here is just sectioning off of that section into a half and I'm gon na work in a pretty much that size section and I'm going in with this Tresemme heat protectant spray, and to be so honest with you guys, I really don't like This heat protectant - I just never blow-dry my hair or put heat on my hair. So that's the only thing I have and, of course I like to use my blow dryer on a low setting and a medium heat temperature. Basically, what I do is just start at my ends and just start passing through my hair. I like to start at my end, because if you start at the roots - and you just drag all the way through, you know, you could really rip and break and tear your hair. So I just kind of make sure that the ends get really dry and then I kind of move on to the roots. That way, I'm not ripping out my ends, and we don't want any of that. It'S just ugly. So basically it should look something like this and then I go in with this marula intensive hydrating oil, and I just kind of you know, evenly distribute that throughout my hair, making sure you're getting your ends of course or roots just all over and then after I've Gone in with the marula oil I'm gon na go in with this tailored beauty. It'S basically kind of like a shea butter has a whole bunch of different butters and oils in it, and it's super thick and I love it so much because it's super super moisturizing. So I like to take that and really focus that on my ends, but of course I'm distributing that throughout all of my hair as well, then after I've gotten all of those products. In my hair, I like to just go ahead and twist it up. I know you're, probably thinking like what the heck. Why would you blow-dry your hair just to twist it and the reason I like to do this is because I feel like when I put it in the twist it just kind of makes all over my hair a lot more unison, and I don't know call me Weird, maybe it's an extra something that doesn't need to be done, but I like to do it so, as you saw, I just went ahead and brushed on my ends a little bit and added a little bit more of that tailored Beauty, shea butter or whatever concoction To my ends - and it should look something like this, but that's pretty much it I mean I just go ahead and repeat that same process to all of the sections throughout my hair, the more hair you have, I would suggest, probably taking smaller sections just because it's Gon na allow you to get your hair a lot more straight and stretch it out and that's pretty much it I'm going to stop talking and just let you kind of enjoy the process. If you're curious, where I picked up this little blow-dryer comb attachment thingy, I will definitely have a link to where you can purchase one down below. I think I paid like five dollars for it or something and for the most part, they're, usually Universal, so they usually fit like different blow dryers and stuff, like that, so I'll link that down in the description box for you below so after it's all said and Done it should look a little something like this, and I am way too lazy to do like the whole prepping of my hair and then go into like six hours of braiding. So I of course have my bonnet here. I decided to do all of the prepping of my hair than ninety-four and then, of course, I decided to do like the actual braiding portion the following day. So, of course, keep an eye out for part two, which is how I actually do the box braids and all of that. But for the meantime, I just go ahead and slap on my silk bonnet call it a night and that's about it. If you enjoyed the video and you're excited to see part, two definitely be sure to give it a giant thumbs up and subscribe and I'll see you guys next time. But what I give
