Hello, my name is Maurice Michel and I'm here in Oakland, California and oedema hair works. I have been in the industry for over 15 years and I have done here overseas in places like Australia and Sudan and London. Some of my work has been seen. In essence, black passion and hype hair today, I'm gon na show you how to style short, naturally curly fine, hair, the first name they've taken consideration is the haircut. The haircut is key, the haircut should work curly and styled, so we just concluded shampooing and conditioning hair. That'S very important because we all want her hair to be frizzy. We want to have a nice shiny finish, so first, we want to mold the size down and by doing that, we can ensure that the sides are nice and smooth and all we have to do is blow out and style the top. So first I like to use a foam, and the brush is very good with this hair type, because that really lays down the hair. So the good thing about fine hair is that it's you can mold it really easy when it's wet, so you want to get the hair, nice and wet now. This is a very important step, because how the hair dries that's how it's gon na stay. So you want to make sure that you get a nice mould on the sides here very, very important, and once you do that you want to lock it into place and the best way to do that is with a sanic strip. And at this point you don't need to worry about the top, because I'm gon na blow that with a blow-dryer you take your clip, make sure it's in place. Put the client under the dryer for at least 30 minutes or until it's completely dry, then go to the next step. So now that I have her nice and prepped, I'm gon na put her under the dryer for at least 30 minutes or until she's completely dry, and then from that point, we're gon na go into blow drying and styling. So, basically, after you take it from the dryer, you want to blow out the top give it a good flat iron you could bump it under I like to bump it up, have a little more fun, it's good to get a little wax, so you can kind Of piece out, the top have fun with the hair, and basically this is how you style: fine, hair, curly natural you

Gretch Smith: Awesome stylist!!  And I love the way you patiently explain everything!  I'm mixed and the chick in the video could have been me.  We get frustrated with our hair sometimes but you made it look easy!

Abby Ferreira: Could you do one for thick curly hair? I'm interested in this cut but would like to see how it turns out for naturally thick and curly hair.

Myy Le Gib: I just cut my hair in this exact style. I love it because I can just wear it curly, however I do wanna eventually try other styles so your video is right on time..Also how often should I cut my hair to maintain this style?

Penelope Greene: I love it! This is just what I was looking for!

Sophia: I have the same hair as her, I'm growing it out but once I decide to do the big chop i'm definitely styling it like this. so badass

Sai Smith: I agree with what he said. The problem I've had a lot in the past and what I feel most curly girls have an issue with is that the style will look good straight but not curly. A style should look good either way. A stylist should always take into consideration that the client may want to wear their hair natural

Lee C: My hair is exactly the same! I got so many useful tips! Now let's see if I can get it to stand up! I was told that he could not cut it too short because my hair is fine but I think it needs to be shorter!

Bridget Howard: Please make more videos. I have fine thin curly hair and I'm trying to grow out my undercut. Any recommendations? My sides and back are almost too long to mold.

Debra Johnson: I have fine naturally curly hair ...good job thanks !

Mildred Baxter: You Rock. Thank you so much. Just what I was looking for over one year. God has blessed me through you. I will give my God the Thanks for both of us. I just cut the relaxer out of my hair and it is fine and curly with several other textures. I got it now. To God be the Glory natural hair is not appropriate for me Love your for your time and talent. Blessings,

Maurice Michael: Faux hawk and it's a combination of clipper and scissor cut (No shaving) remember each hair type requires a different approach.
