*Realistic* Short Curly Hair Routine

If you guys want to make sure you guys subscribe to see more of me, because we don't want to see more of me now you're going to want to see more of me later, okay, because this energy baby is immaculate, it's something that you don't want to Miss um, as you can see right now, i look like a dinosaur because my hair isn't done, but this is a long-awaited video because i'm going to give you guys my curly hair, routine yay. I just want to say this is kind of like an anniversary, because one of my first videos was my curly hair routine, and i did this video at 11, something like last year on a school night and it's 11 45. So i'm really upholding traditions of me. Filming stuff late night on a school night when i have to wake up at five in the morning, so vote me and here's two traditions, so that's exciting. Today we are going to do something with this hair because baby, i don't know what's going on with this - like i just don't know, but you guys want to see how i get my hair, how i usually have it in pictures and like a little fro and Honestly, i'm not really a big fan of the fro stage. I used to have like a cute huge pro and i'm kind of over that stage. My hair isn't cut in a certain way or like a diva cut, but i shaved all my hair off like about a year ago, so it just grew back like this in layers. Basically, but i don't have a diva cut, i don't have no type of curly cut y'all gon na ask me: oh my god, how do you get your hair cut like that girl shave your head period, but yeah, so um, i'm going to show you guys how I style my hair. I took a shower, i beat my face. I was at school all day. I was just gon na, like let me beat my face because i don't feel like getting on camera. Looking like how it looked all day, so i did that period. I don't feel like washing my hair in the shower. I don't play doing that so we're just gon na use this, which something that i usually do anyway. First thing that i do wet my hair to start styling it i have this water bottle and yes, this water bottle is usually used for cleaning, but if i bought it i could use it for whatever. I remember one time somebody was like girl. That is not a hair stylist bottle. That is a cleaning bottle. Listen. If i bought it, it could spit magic out baby. I don't care what you say. It is what it is in an 818 and it is a hairstyling bottle. Okay, so first thing i'm gon na do is separate my hair and i'm going to separate it about this much like half, which is what it was already at. I don't know why i just put myself through this trouble. I don't know if you could tell how thick my hair really is on camera, but i have really thick hair. So sections are my best friend. If you have thick hair, the sections will always be your best friend. If you don't want to look cycle, i used to have a denman brush when i had really long hair, but i lost it, and i mean i feel like the denman brush really didn't do much of a difference. I don't know i feel, like you, don't need a denman brush if you have curly hair, i don't know, maybe i'll try again eventually, but i feel like you really need it, but this brush a hair company, sent it to me, and i don't know what this Kind of brush is called: i'm surprised that i haven't broken any bristles or anything like that, but yeah. So i just take this water bottle with suave conditioner and water and i'm just gon na spray it. My hair is really tangled right now, so i'm scared, but i'm gon na take it and detangle it. It doesn't have to be perfect because i have to go back in and style it. I just don't want it to really be in a whole bunch of knots, and also i'm not telling you guys how to do your hair. Everybody'S hair type is different. I'M also not a big hair enthusiast like i'm, not one of those curly hair girls who, like really take good care of their hair. I feel like i really don't take good care of my hair honestly, my hair is not the most important thing to me. I cut all my hair off and i don't regret it i felt pretty before and pretty after, so i don't really have an attachment to my hair. If you know what i'm saying so, it's like, i don't really glorify it that much like i don't know like. I don't do masks all the time i don't even own a hair mask. I should probably take better care of my hair honestly, but what i'm trying to say this is my hair routine. So i'm not telling you guys what you guys should do, but i'm just showing you guys how i get my hair, how i got my hair because you guys wanted me to so. I just had to clarify that real quick, because i don't want nobody thinking that i'm telling you to do this. So this is my hair with just the water and the conditioner, and when i used to have long hair, i didn't put as much product or anything in it, because i liked it to be more bigger. I cared more about volume and definition now, because my hair is so short and i have a lot of shrinkage, i feel like volume is not important to me. I kind of want more length in the back so like if the product is weighing the back down. I don't mind because the back gets so short and it's crazy, because when it's straight or when it's wet it's long, but when it's dry baby, it's like this to my neck, so i don't really mind a lot of product. One thing i did not miss about having hair on my head was nights like this, where i have to style it and just do all that, like i do not miss this. I used to hate doing this truly now, i'm going to show you guys how i style it with my products and then after i show you guys that i'm going to do the rest of my head, but i get to show you guys how i do my Front part, but the front isn't that different? I just bring hair down and comb it, but i guess i'll give you guys a close-up, so you guys can see how i style the front too. The two products that i use also hair care is expensive. Like that's exactly why i cannot be a curly girl, because i'm not gon na pay to be a curly girl, all the girls with a whole bunch of curly hair products, i'd be like wow. You spent some bake on your hair. I could never care that much. I should care that much that's the problem like the problem is. I should care that much, but i just don't you know what i'm saying, because i just wear blood anyway, so i don't know, but that's just me so i used carol's daughter and honestly, you guys put me on to this because i remember i put like a Little questionnaire on instagram and i was like what curly hair product should i use because i was telling y'all. I need a curly hair routine, but i don't know products i choose and y'all told me carol's daughter and baby chef's kiss it smells good. I could use this by itself, but this is the carol's daughter, curl, enhancing styling, cream and baby this. This does it this. Does it right here it smells so mom and it's lasting me a long time, and then i also use the miss jessie's jelly soft curls. This just adds more definition, i'm just going to re-wet this right here and show you guys how i style my hair yandra got close, so i just take some hair product with the back of my nails, scrape it on my hand, rub it then i comb it Into my hair get that moisture in my hair be feeling kind of dry, so i just get that moisture in. I just start brushing it and i honestly just brush it until it looks how i want to look see how right now like the curls, are really together. That'S because i brushed it in a large section, but if i brushed it in a smaller section, they wouldn't be that tight. When i tried to scrunch it after i brush. If there's like a frizzy piece, then i'll just brush it in a smaller section. Now that i got that section style with the carol's daughter, i'm going to take my jessie's and i'm going to put it on my hand, rub it together and then scrunch and i'm basically just folding the curl and locking the curls. This is how this side looks and then i just do the same thing. I can't listen to music while i'm doing stuff like this, because it will feel like it's taking forever. So when i'm doing stuff like this, i just watch grey's anatomy. I just started it and i don't know how i just started this, because my mom watched grey's anatomy, like my whole childhood, but i just started watching it so yeah. I just watched netflix or something because when i'm doing stuff like this, i'm not gon na lie. I just hate listening to music because it makes me feel like i'm doing this for hours like even with my makeup. If i'm listening to music and i'm doing my makeup, i will take forever doing my makeup, like every song that i, like i'm gon na, try to dance too and it's gon na just slow me down, and i just can't do that. Like i try to speed my time up when i'm doing certain stuff to just get faster at things and if i'm listening to music doing stuff, i'm trying to get over with it's not going to work out now i take my miss jessie's, as i said before, And i just scrunch, as you can see, i'm just doing it little by little, so i'm just sectioning it off like that and when i get to the top, like the bang area, then i'll talk to you guys again because i'm doing this area just how i Did this and it's crazy how these moist, succulent curls can go to this like what the? What is this very much dry, very much desert very much sahara! I'M gon na talk to you guys when i am doing the top. Let me turn on my grey's anatomy. Girl i sound like my freaking mother, my mom used to be like girl. Don'T bother me i'm watching my grades like have i turned into my mom. All i need left is a cup of wine and then i'll be here. Now we are on to the front of my head. As you can see, this is the rest of my head. Then it's a big difference from how i was like earlier and i'm gon na repeat the same exact steps. All i do different is because it's the front of my head, i brush it down and then i flip it up. So it's not all on my face so now that i look like a helmet, i'm going to take the last dip of the carol's daughter and spread it throughout the whole top of my head and i'm going to do the same steps as i did when i Was doing the rest of my hair if i want it more to find i'll just split it. This part right here would be way too long for my bang, so i'm going to take this scrunch it and flip it. Okay! So now that the hair is at my face, i'm going to take my miss jessie's, and now i'm really going to put a lot. I'M going to flip my head and put it on the front section washes come out crappy on a day that i'm filming an actual hair video, wouldn't that be so funny anyways. I'M gon na take this shirt and i'm just gon na scrunch, i'm just getting all that excess product out of there yeah dude. I don't think i belong in the rock band. Okay, let me scratch the back. My blow dryer is tore up from the flow of i've. Had this for so long, there's makeup on it. Stick with got to be spray. This blow dryer just been through it. It'S been through a lot okay, but it still works so yeah. So it comes with a diffuser: it's a revlon blow dryer. My aunt got it for me for christmas, like four years ago, wow yeah, i was like a freshman freshman sophomore, one of those i'm getting so old. Oh my god. The girl's really grown like i was for a long time and they still sell these at walmart, like literally just go to walmart, and i mean it works for me. I know some people like get those fancy ones, but this one does this thing. So it's literally 12 30 in the morning and i took about five in the morning, so i'm just gon na start diffusing it. Now. I guess it's not like drink sweat. I would prefer bleach and i usually wait for it to be drier because i feel like it just comes out better because i'm really impatient, but i guess i don't have a certain method to diffusing my hair. I know some people will go to roots and blaze. Blase you're gon na see when i speed this up, but i'm very random and all i'm gon na do is put on gray's anatomy. It'S like the highest level. I can put it so i can still hear it while i'm blow-drying my hair and yeah, i'm gon na diffuse it and then bada bing bada boom. Okay, by the way, i also switch it. I have it on high warm and then i just press the cold. I just go on and off cold whenever my scalp is like burning, i just put cold, so i just switch it from hot to cold. I mean warmth: cold, that's how i do it, so i don't leave it on the same heat setting the whole time so yeah. I just switch it from back and forth. Okay back one, i look like a bowl, but i feel like it's not fully dry yet. Well, it's not, but this is my pick. I got it from dollar tree a long time ago. It'S plastic, i know the metal ones are better because they really get in the room, but it's the one i got in this plastic so, like i said, my hair is pretty much still freaking wet if my hair was fully dry um, which is not - and it's Like one in the morning, but if it was fully dry, then i just take my pick and then i just from the root pick it like. So like that you know what i'm saying: i'm gon na get ready to go to sleep now, i'm gon na. Take this scarf, i'm gon na wrap it from behind and then i'm gon na flip my hair over and i'm gon na tie it i'm gon na push it back and then boom. That'S how i preserve it to go to sleep. So when i wake up, my roots should be dry in the inside and then i'll just pick it and go from there. I'M gon na take off this beat and i'm going to hop my bed. You know what i'm saying, because a girl is tired. It'S one in the morning, so i did pretty good all the time like i thought i would end up taking until like 20 morning, which, if i finish this whole video of me, just diffusing my hair, which you guys know how to do by now. I'M pretty sure, then i probably wouldn't finish it like two, but do you want me to graduate yes or no?
