Hi guys, I'm Robin welcome back to my channel in this video. I'Ve got five very simple steps for you guys to get the most out of using hair mousse. Now, if you've been subscribed for a while, then you will have seen that I've done quite a few videos with hair mousse, but I've never stripped it right back to basics and actually showing you properly how to use the product. Now I think it's really underestimated its lightweight and it's water-based and it's one of the best things for providing volume to your hair. But if you don't get it right, then your hair can be crispy oversaturated and just look like a total mess. So I've distilled it right down distilled good word into five very simple steps to using hair mousse step. One might seem really simple, but it's to shake the can. If you don't shake it and I'm going to show you how you may get gloopy watery a liquid. That'S not what we want. It'S a can and it's pressurizer much like that sort of whipped cream that we get in cans. You need to shake it, activate it and get it moving to give a shape. Step two is to dispense it and you want to get the right amount. Guys lots of people. Ask me why to my hair cut krispies with mousse and that's probably because you're using too much and you've saturated the hair or you're over drying it which we'll get to, but you want to have a little mountain of it. I thought that I made about a nice little mountain going on with every sort of product. It'S always better to start with a little bit and then layer it up. If you go too big too quickly, you're going to really mess it up. Step three is to distribute it evenly, so we're going to get right into the hair and we're going to work into those roots, because that's where we're going to build the volume it's at this point, if you feel like your hair, is still quite dry, just grab A little bit more of that mousse and get it in. But if you're like me and it's well coated, then you're ready for step 4 step. Four is all about the hairdryer, and this is where we're going to build the volume. So, as always with a hairdryer, I'm going to go for a meeting temperature, so I've got four on here. I'M going to put it between the second and the third, depending on how hot my hair get and I'm gon na go for a fast, fast feet and the movement for this. It'S just going to work my hand through my hair, from root to tip it's just really working that product through and also making sure we get the heat into all of the hair and guys really important. Today, I'm going to stop Jesus where my hair starts to feel dry. I don't want to go too far because that's going to make the hair go crispy and it's also going to damage it. Okay, there we go instant volume into my hair step. Five is about how you're going to finish it. So, as I said at start, you know, mousse is really great for providing that volume and a bit of a foundation to the hair, so you're going to do, but we now want to add a little bit more styling definition. So this is where I would grab like a paste or putty work a little bit into the hair and then I'd get fixing spray, hairspray and just blast it all into place. So there you go guys five, a very simple steps to using hair mousse. If you've enjoyed this one and you've not yet press subscribe, then press subscribe. It'S right there or it's there, depending where you're watching this it is free. It just means you're going to get a notification every time. I upload a new video, but I'm going to see you in my next new one, which will be next Sunday bye, bye,

Maria Colls: Hey cheers. Despite being a woman, I've been pretty clueless on the whole styling thing. This has given me some confidence to try it out myself.

Vivek Ellanti: I've been using Lo'real volumizing conditioner before applying product to my hair for the past 5 months. Before I started using product, my hair was super healthy and looked really nice without product. Ever since I started to use volumizing conditioner, my hair become dull, stubborn, flat, and just ugly overall as I can't event style it without product. I want to eliminate the use of product for a while to get my hair back to its normal health. I believe the problem I might be facing is product buildup but I'm not sure. If you are familiar with this problem do you happen to know what it is and how it can be solved. thanks

brutalbeetle: That small amount of mousse is like 10x what I use and I have hair as long or longer lol.

Ivan Manapovich: dude! This guy answers all of my questions that other channels never seem to cover.

James Maher: 3 - was particularly helpful as, up to now, I only concentrated on parts of my hair which resulted in hard knots forming which I had to cut out as I couldn't comb or brush these knots out.

David Nguyen: I owe it to this youtuber for helping me finding my way to style my own hair. I couldn’t learn from my dad bc we aren’t that close and in a way this white dude is my father. What works for me I shampoo so the oils in my hair are cleansed. Umm, I apply conditioner solely because it helps me style my thick hair. Also, conditioner makes the hair healthier and easier to comb and so that’s why I use it after shampooing. Side note: after shampooing, conditioning, I later apply mousse, blow dry, comb, last but not least apply hair wax to gain back some shine, and finally spray hair spray to finalize the hold.

Ali Almuhanna: Thanks Rubin for such helpful videos, can I ask what products should I use after mousse? Thanks

Natalie Puda: Tutorial works for girls too! Wasn't expecting that, thank you!
