In this fall / winter 2012 curly hair tutorial I'll show you how to do create retro glamorous curls inspired by celebrities of Old Hollywood and how to use these curls to create a playful updo hairstyle with twisted bangs for medium long hair. This vintage ponytail look is very simple to recreate and it works great on fine / thin to medium / thick curly hair.
This soft and messy hairdo is perfect for a winter holidays, Christmas and New Years eve, for prom, homecoming, graduation party, ball, wedding guests and all kind of stylish special occasions and evening events. Depending on whether and how you choose to accessorize it, it can be either a lovely bridesmaid updo or an everyday casual hairstyle that can wear to school / college / university / work / office.

Hello and welcome to another hair tutorial today, we'll show you how to create retro glamorous crows using bendy Kroners overnight and how to create a very quick and playful up to four curly hair. The day before I have applied my phone curlers on 70 % dry hair. I have texturized my hair with the styling mousse to get tight and bouncy curls. I want to sleep letting my hair dry overnight so in the morning after I check that my hair is totally dry, I can remove my robes once I have removed my rollers. I'M left with this funny looking little curls, then I have to take care. I cannot leave them like this, so I want to be taken each curl and split it in smaller curls. I twist each section of hair that I split from the curl around my finger to redefine it, and I do the same thing with all my hair. Of course you can use any other curling technique of your choice. I just wanted to get maximum volume in my thin hair and a lot of tides, bouncy curls, since my last video on foam hair rollers, my hair would cut and layered, so you can tell that the end result is quite different. This time, I just wanted to give you a quick idea of what you can expect to get using this kind of foam hair overs, this kind of retro, glamorous old Hollywood. Look. Now I'm going to proceed to style in this hairstyle. I will section the hair from the top of my head and put the remaining hair into a high ponytail. I first use section the hair from the front and secure it out of the link. After that, I take the remaining hair and put it into a high ponytail. Here is my ponytail, and now I can release this top section of hair and divide it into sections and secure one of them in place for the time being, and what I want to do with this section of hair is very simple. I want to twist it to revert my ponytail at first and then I want to fold thin sections of hair from my twist to minimize it a little bit and to give it this messy touch that makes this hairstyle since fashioned. So, starting from the end of the twist I'll pull into thin sections of you, after that, I can secure this choice in place. I'M going to use a single bobby pin, and I secure the ends of this section next to the base of my ponytail. If your hair is much longer than mine, you can easily do it soon. You could even wrap the ends of this section around your ponytail, so I make some adjustments. Then I proceed to style in the second section, so I take the hair in the section and also twist it to over in my ponytail, then again I want to minimize it so I'm pulling very thin sections of hair. From my twist, he directed to rent the base of my ponytail and secure it in place over there. At this point, I can make adjustments in corrections to this twist. I actually want to secure it in place in front using yet another bobby pin this way. I can be sure that it will stay secure and now I can take the thin section of hair from my ponytail, bring it to the front just like this and again secure it in place with bobby pins. This way I'm going to cover the elastic belt and my ponytail will look like a cute little bun. So this is what this hairstyle looks like from the back. Susanne Møller Damkjær: Love your tutorials - at the time being, my hair is a little shorter than yours, baby thin, and blond, about shoulder length - but stil I can use your tricks. About curling the hair ....... if you don't have any curlers, don't get sad. Use either paper kitchen towels or toilet paper, folding single sheets into a long 'curler' - the cellulose in the paper will curl the hair, so you don't even have to use any cosmetics as hairgel or foam - the cellulose will do it all. It doesn't hurt to sleep with the paper in the hair. How to use? 1. wash your hair, and let it dry properly, you don't have to put anything in you hair, like foam or gel. 2. fold one sheet of toiletpaper/kitchen roll paper several times, so you have a long narrow 'curler'. 3. take a bit of hair, and roll it up on the 'curler 4. make a knot on the paper curler, to tie it up 5. Have a nice night sleep 6. open the knots on the 'curlers' in the morning, and wonder where all the curls come from. Sweet regards from Denmark Sanne
