This was my first attempt and the back needs some work. To avoid my mistakes, make sure you make multiple twists:)

Hey guys welcome to my channel today, what we are going to do is an updo. This is day 7 hair and it definitely needs to be changed. I'M not sure i would wear this out the way that it is. I either refresh take a full wash day or, if you guys are in a bind. This is a really cute updo that you can do and it came from marissa girls, so super pumped to show you guys this. It should be super easy. I have never tried it before so this could be very interesting, but let's get started so first things. First, if you guys ask this dress is from urban planet. It'S nothing like super crazy special, but it was eight dollars and it's holding the belly in so um. If uh you haven't been following me on instagram, i am seven months pregnant. I bought this dress in like four different colors and i definitely got my money's worth so. Jordan, coleman just chilling at home. This dress is perfect. It'S super comfortable and airy and all those good things, but let's get started so this is what marissa had posted on instagram and what i'm gon na try to do is replicate it today. So, as i mentioned, i've never done this before and i'm going to make sure that you guys can see my full face and my whole hair so um. I naturally part this way and what she does to start is. She puts her hair in a half up. Half down ponytail - and i guess the biggest thing here is that i have a whole lot more hair than marissa, so i'm gon na use my scrunchie to hold the hair up and then what she does is she takes this side of her hair or whatever side You want to part on what i'm going to do is because i do wear my hair this way, i'm going to put the bun on this side so i'll. Take my regular hair tie. It'S a big one. It'S been stretched. I'M just going to take this extra hair and i'll pin it like that, so i just have a little bun and so i've got. These are just dollar store, bobby pins, oops i'll just okay. So the next thing that she says to do is to spread the edges of the bun, because this is going to be the base of your hair um. The truth is, i have a lot. I don't want like a big pom-pom down here, so i'm not gon na go crazy with this step. But if you have thinner hair, then what you can do is you can really spread it out to make that base really big. So what i'm gon na do is just pin it. I'Ve got my bobby pin here and i'm gon na push it into the ponytail, get a good anchor there. Okay. So the next step is to take this top part down. So then, what she does is she takes the top part of her hair and she says to twist it in the direction of the curls. The hair was finger curled and i always finger girl to the back of the room on this side of my hair on the right side of my hair. So it will be pretty easy to follow the curl pattern, but i'm just going to take chunks of my hair, i'm going to spin it and i'm going to wrap it around. My bun so like that, and you always want to push your bobby pins into the bun, so full disclosure um, i'm not like the best with hair. I can do my hair down curly, but i'm not like super creative when it comes to updos or anything along those lines. If you have been following me on instagram, i do have three different ways that i wear my hair up, but they'll always have to do with a ponytail, never really anything with bobby pins. I don't get too crazy, so this is probably the craziest i'm gon na get but um the hairstyle is just super cute and it looks so easy. So i want to make sure that i give it the the try that it deserves. It'S very elegant and her hair looks amazing when she does it, so these are frizzy because, again day, seven hair um. So what i would do is, i would separate these guys i'll re-finger curl them just to make them a little bit less frizzy. And then, if i wasn't about to jump in the shower to do a full wash day, what i would do is, i would probably um refresh them refresh these front pieces because i'm going to leave them out, but this is going to go into the bun. So if you guys hear classical music in the background, it's my husband he's enjoying a nice day of reading and he likes to do that to classical music, which i also thoroughly enjoy. But i don't just like jam out to youtube videos and classical music or instagram videos and classical music okay, so this one's a shorter one, i'm just gon na, pin it to the top i'll spin these. So i just took all of these together. I'M spinning them i'll push them nicely here now. I'Ve got all this hair in the on this side as well, and so we're going to want to again take these curls now, because i'm on the left side of my head, i always finger curl to the front and i'll pin these around the base. Now, if you have shorter layers on the front, what i would recommend is i'd probably leave some out on this side as well. For me, i don't really have shorter layers over here. In fact, the reason why this is so short is because it's like coming from the left-hand side i'll take this guy, and i don't. I don't know how this looks in the back. So it will be very interesting to see i'm dying to take out one of these over here, but i mean with a little bit of like hairspray or gel. Normally, i don't use spray, but this could be a super cute day, seven or uh, even to something like super elegant like if your hair was fresh and shiny and still like beautiful on wash day or day two or day three you can totally rock this. I am really enjoying this so okay, so i haven't seen the back yet, but i have a mirror. So i'm going to see what this actually looks like, i'm not sure, okay, so this is super cute super elegant, um. What she also says again. This is like, if you have thinner, hair or even if you have thicker hair, you just like want a huge bun. What you can start to do is you can pull this apart a little bit um? I think it's as big as i want it to be. She also says the same thing too, so say: you're twisting your hair and you're bringing it into the back and you're starting to notice. I think i have a blonde streak somewhere around here. It might look like a bald spot, but it is just uh blonde hair. So what you can do is as you're twisting your hair. You can pull them kind of apart to make them thicker and to make it more full, so thinner, hair. If you need to cover some spottiness in your in your scalp totally, you can do that. Just make sure that you you pull apart, those those hairs, but this is a super cute. Look. I love it and i mean i wish my hair wasn't so frizzy. It might be hard to tell because i have a black background and my hair is dark, but um it is a little bit frizzy, but this could be a really really really cute um hairstyle, and i mean i would totally rock this. So thanks. So much for watching guys and if you do have any questions, please do put them in the comment section. I always answer comments.
