What is up youtube? It is tata here, and i am back with another youtube video in today's video guys. We are going to be doing an inspired hairstyle by delilah from the equalizer. Now i believe her real name is leia hayes, but she has been wearing the cutest hairstyle on her instagram and one of my clients asked me if i can do this style for her, and i told her, i got you girl, i got you so i started Out by parting, her hair from the top of the left ear, all the way to the top of the right ear. Of course, you want to make sure you are using your shine and jam to define those parts and make them look nice, and even so, as you can see here, i already started braiding her hair, but i just wanted to show you guys that i have three Rows going from top to bottom now, as you can see right now, what you're going to see, probably throughout the entire video i am pre-parting pre-parting is definitely a game changer. It makes the process go so much faster and it also makes every single part as even as possible and as neat as possible, so she wanted medium knotless box braids and she wanted her braids to be small, so they're a little bit closer to the smaller side. So i added about eight pieces of braiding hair to her natural hair to create that knotless braid, roughly i'll, use around six pieces. But since her hair is very very long and it almost passes the length of the actual braiding hair, i just added more pieces so that it will be able to look more natural and that it'll be easier to take down that way. She won't end up cutting her natural hair, please so i stopped the braid at around mid back length or a bra strap length, and i just take a small piece of the braid and i just tie a knot around the braid and then you're going to see Me tie a extra knot on the remainder of the hair after i tied the knot around the braid so that i can secure that braid. So if you guys watch any of my previous video, you guys know that after i'm done with that bottom part, i skip straight up to the top part. So i just start by parting, her hair down the middle and then you'll see me parting, her hair on the sides, and this will just give me a guide to neat and straight sections throughout the head with me. So, as you guys can see, i am just pre-parting the sections of the right side and then i'm going to do the left side y'all, i'm telling y'all right now. This is the ultimate game changer, because it makes things go by so much faster and easier. Once you just get those parts over with and all you have to do is just braid. It so definitely consider pre-partnering, i'm telling y'all it works wonders, and i love it so much so. My number one tip on how to perfect this style and how to make all the braids as symmetrical as possible is to always have a base braid, so that very first braid that you do. You want to make sure that second, third, fourth, all the way to the last braid is the exact same length as it is, and eventually you'll get that nice v-shape that nice very symmetrical shape, and this goes for bob box, braids or just any type of box. Braids, where everything needs to be the same length - and it needs to be blunt and it'll turn out like this, so yeah always have that base braid is this. Can i is you something please so once you get done putting the mousse on it, you want to just break down that excess hair that was at the bottom. Now you want to make sure these sections are as small as possible. That way, the braids can be as curly and as kinky as possible, and then you are going to dip them and once you dip them, you're going to take them down and they're going to turn out so cute y'all. When i tell how this style is so freaking pretty, however, let me tell y'all something these curls will drop after a while, but when they drop, they turn out so pretty and they actually look more like how delilah looked on the equalizer.
